  1. The only romance I care to ever see develop would be the one possibility of the continuum shift in which it is revealed that Linhua is an orphan and Bang and Litchi pair up to legally adopt her and they live happily ever after.
  2. I've always liked the idea of this pairing [for the most inhumane and twisted reasons]. The superiorxsubordinate is always an easy sell but it's the rage behind Jin's attitude toward her [the moment I played the match up in CT and tech'd hearing "YOU BITCH!" I knew it to be true] that makes me just want to see him slap the shit out of her and take "it" by force. Maybe I just want to see Noel suffer or have a reason to invest any sort of interest in Jin. I'm a terrible person .__.

  5. Unless you make ALOT of international purchases, I don't see the need to bother with this, though honestly I'd have to see how their fees compare to the markup of PSN cards. But yeah if you ONLY want CP then just get PSN cards.

  7. Honestly, due to the markup of PSN cards, I wouldn't bother wasting the money on the digital version unless you're that impatient. You're already going to spend a heft amount, why not have something more to show for it? But it will release day 1 digital and will even include Terumi for free if you get it before Nov.7, I can't say if any places will still have 1st print copies for free Terumi on the physical [probably not, unless you go like eBay or something] and shipping is totally dependent on where you order from, AmiAmi has EMS which can take 3~5 days, I heard Play Asia's fastest shipping with FedEx can be there in 2. The question you need to ask is: how bad do I want this game!?

From the TGS presentation, there are at least 3 women he attempts to murder, and allegedly one of his losing animations has the girl fall back on top of him [this hasn't been confirmed to the best of my knowledge but is being speculated as Kagura is hit by something off screen in one of his defeats]. zzz

Still no date, but here's what to expect in the next update: ver 1.02 patch notes - Can now customize the room name when creating Player Match sessions - Recording feature for the training dummy added - More than the first 100 users can now be displayed in the Leaderboard & Auto Repeat (?) function added - Network stability improved (both while in play and while spectating) - Bugs with trophy/achievement unlocks fixed - Fixed character usage data [before it was randomized constantly] - Improved the behavior of the training dummy when set to guard after the first [non-combo] hit - Fixed an issue with the character select screen [this is most likely the bug where sometimes you are unable to select different styles when backing out] - No longer able to download and play replay data from different versions of the game than your current one [this fixes the replay glitch] - Fixes an issue where total hours played will be reset - Fixed an issue where Slip Shift would reset Overdrive cool down - Decreased (?) background effects (?) - Fixed an issue where Itsuki (Quick) could use 5H+S to clash with an opponent using Hard's Solid Armor

While it's cool that none of BB's "clones" are straight up that, I'd rather have new characters than power levels; apply new mechanics to new designs ; -; Hmmm, now that it's upon us and we know that the US ver will have an identical special edition, I'm debating just getting the digital ver until then....is BB really worth some $150 to me!?

I don't think UBW is the best comparison; yes the fans of the VN get more mileage out of it, however it was additive of the already established previous anime series, they didn't need to tell a good majority of the audience "this is who this is and this is how the world works". Also because it's a movie as opposed to a series it had to be as standalone as possible by default, OVAs and movies are made specifically for wanting to cater to the fan base as opposed to broader audiences. AM fails as an adaption and on its own merits.

I still think BB Morning would've been better if they didn't focus on adapting existing material and instead focused on establishing stronger setup by either serving as a transitional period between CS and CP or by focusing on more personal histories of characters [seriously I would've killed for an episode each to establish some of the past for Azrael, Bullet, and Amane. Maybe even one talking more about the Yayoi house and their relationship to Izayoi, and perhaps another devoted to Nu's previous encounters with Ragna---maybe go more into depth about his slaughter at Akitsu. Heck while I'm at it, an episode talking about the Mutsuki or just Kagura's silent rebellion. I think making a collection of self contained yet interconnected---obviously shown more once you play CP---would've been much better]. Heck I think I would've preferred them adapting the PS novels since I'm really not looking forward to slogging through a VN portion of it... I think AM is wasted potential, even before considering the lackluster quality of the actual series.

  17. 1st post: Introduction & Updates 2nd post: Media 3rd post: Systems 4th & 5th posts: Characters (split the cast among them to make for easier organization and place each character's section inside a drop box to make navigation relatively simple) 6th post: Assists (same deal as characters, place each character's info inside drop box) 7th post: Advance topics 8~10th post: Extra reserves (ie. maybe have an import/translation guide when console ver is announced or in dept strategies or team building/synergy, or even expand a previous section is needed). Relatively future proof, but that's just what I would do *shrug*

Sorry, we wasted all our ecchi budget on the henshin effects [wait till you see Bang!!] Also that's not that surprising seeing how they've yet to show up at all in Litchi's case and as a mere single shot cameo in Makoto's case. But seeing how Noel's moe-ness was pretty hammed up I doubt they'll miss the opportunities when they arise. Ya know...unless budget cuts...
  20. Unsheathing a nodachi takes skill, that alone shows how qualified a swordsmen Hakumen is. In the anime it's evident that his sheath is just made of Ars since Ookami just "cuts" through it
  21. Got our first multiple "Hero" rep for a series in One Piece as Boa Hancock is playable, also more assist revealed; Rukia (Bleach), Chitoge Kirisaki (Nisekoi) and Lala (To Love-Ru). Game is set for a March release [instead of December] and will have a special edition. Gotta say I'm disappointed that they're already revealing another One Piece rep, but I guess One Piece didn't have a "Rival" reveal...and hey getting some of that estrogen in my Shounen!

Episode 2 impressions: + Choke-U-Man (once you grab someone by the throat, it's no longer practice) and smacking away Dead Spike (get that shit outta here!) + Musical score still continues to impress + Increased focus really help this episode feel alot less random and disjointed than the first (though it still suffers from less than optimal pacing) - Still looks like ass, inconsistency keeps taking me out of the moments [the action set pieces especially fall just short of being amazing] and confirmed that the entire budget was wasted on a making Noel look like a magical girl - Sloppy pacing makes emotional weight and general stakes feel extremely fabricated (I can't imagine it having the same significance between someone who has knowledge of the source material vs someone who doesn't) - Confusing, and this is an issue that plagues the source material, however now it's more profound - Creative liberties are...interesting... (and no, clones still don't work that way...) I'm still disappointed in how Calamity Trigger was handled but I suppose it makes sense, it has been adapted numerous times outside of the game, unlike Continuum Shift and arguable nothing really happens in CT anyways. I think CS was their goal all along and CT was just a sort of arbitrary self-imposed prerequisite.
  23. I'd like that but not sure how likely that'd be. NetherRealms is a Western developer, so they were just appealing to their target audience [not to mention having something to prove] and even with ARC's greater awareness of the North American market, they still leave alot to be desired when compared to the likes of Capcom, Bamco, or heck even Sega or Atlus. Hopefully things will start to look up with Xrd, although I'd like ARC/Aksys to start "now" with CP.
  24. "Spring" for arcades, unspecified time in 2014 for PS3/4, and that's before even accounting for a North American release as I'm unsure on how likely EVO is to support a game that could be import only for a significant amount of time.
  25. Umm, can someone explain to me how the armor property works in this game... At first I thought it was like SF4 and P4U with just 1 attack having armor properties, but I've seen multiple characters apply it to at least 2 moves (Lightning girl did it on nearly all of her moves...) and I don't see any resource aside from life (which can be recovered if you don't get hit anyways) being consumed.
