I can almost guarantee you that the reason CP isn't releasing closer to the JPN date is due to NA's overstuffed holiday releases which will see tons of AAA games vying for dollars. So while it's not impossible, I think a an early Q1 date is unlikely, like MAYBE late Feb/Early March, but that's probably risky due to the big F coming out. I think Q2 is a much more realistic timetable. -

Gonna have to wait for the full vids, the re-records I saw weren't the best quality v.v but if nothing else I like Hermes voice I think it was kind of a lame how the winner was decided by who got 3-points first instead of letting the 2 3-pointers have a rematch to decided winner and runner up, but oh well. Man these characters though, they keep getting crazier and crazier @.@ -

True after CT they haven't been as good [although I think AH3 is pretty wonderful] but to just say they were "shit" is like "wut" cause there could and have been far worse netcodes (SNK won't let you take that from them! AP still makes me sad... And wasn't Actress Again's so bad a fancode was made that pretty much replaced it?) -

Wow it's like none o you have played SCV or Tag 2, it's literally the exact idea. This isn't so much a testament to the quality of netcode so much as it is a potential in social interaction, like on DL there are alot of netbats held, this would allow them to be ran much easier. Also when has ARC had "shit" netcode, like GG aside -

Unconfirmed but most likely no. As it stand the only English option will probably be for the in-game battle voices to keep it compatible with universal netplay, Menu categories will probably be in English [from screens of the menu] but descriptions will still remain in Japanese and story dialogue will also be in Japanese. To date only Calamity Trigger shipped with full English text on the Japanese version. If you aren't looking for any special editions you can try AmiAmi or PlayAsia -
There is some ennui with SF4, but not for the reasons you might think, for example most people are tired of the fact unblockable setups have become such a HUGE part of high level play, and when your name is Cammy and you can set them up like no tomorrow. SF4 has been an interesting beast with each iterations, finding a relatively good balance with each ginormous roster, I mean, top 8s are still wildly diverse (Makoto in Top 8, at EVO, WUT!? And Infiltration even used Hakan, freaking Hakan!). If nothing else the Capcom community is good at keeping the longevity in their franchises, I mean, look at the 2 (STILL play to the day, not counting HDR), Alpha, and 3 series.
