  1. Yes it will work with NA [and EU] players, yes you will need a JPN PSN to redeem pre-order DLC/purchase DLC for that version of the game [this also means getting Yen cards] but the same itself can be played on any user on the system regardless of region settings.
  2. Online retailers usually don't examine their "sources" for listings too hard [worst case scenario you have to tell people you goofed, best case, all those early adopters over your competitors] so I'd take this with a grain of salt until otherwise noted.
  3. If your PS3 is set to English it will default to that language upon availability, for example; I imported AH3 and had my trophies in Japanese, then fast forward X months later when the domestic release drops [which I NEVER purchased] and my trophies automatically transitioned to English. All of my imports [with NA domestic releases] with trophies [boo Valkyria Chronicles ; -;] have done this.
  4. No, no. Unless [as Kurushii mentioned] they file for 2 separate IDs [which Arc hasn't yet] there will only be one trophy set with multiple language options [as each region's game is released], until the English option is available, your set will remain in Japanese [as it will be the only option] but once the game hit NA shores the list will automatically update [without requiring you to buy/install the NA trophy data] and default to displaying in English [as that is your PS3's set preference].
  5. Only a company with poor regional communications would do that, I can't even remember the last time an import gave me the option... Like after '11 no one should be doing that D:
  6. The trophy list will remain in Japanese until other languages are added [at launch of a new region]. You'll only have 1 list of trophies regardless if you buy both an import and a domestic release.
  7. Both the LE and Famitsu DX have the same cover, just the DX gets a wider box (to accommodate for scroll) And Aksys always have alternate covers [one for the box, one for the actual game case] for the ones they release LEs for (CT, CSE).
  8. lol, but I'm not worried at all about the game, I already like what I see [though my preferred character of choice might be a bit low tier ; -;] and unlike the netplay discussion going on earlier, I'm not too worried as Arc usually delivers [for me]. So back to my candy analogy, if I already like the treat why can't I demand a better wrapper!? ; w;
  9. But it's a bad cover .v. And anyone who's played a modern Capcom game pretty much knows what's up so there isn't much ["new"] to talk about because we don't know how well implemented and functioning these features are since this is Arc's first time running with them. Also, a good majority of users don't know when [no solid release window for non-importers, which is a minority] or if [PS3 only release] they're going to play. But if you want to go ahead and start planning your "Team Me, Skye-anoe" sessions, then by all means go ahead~ Just leave me be to complain about stuff I have no power over! But yes, I am stoked to have my Capcom+Bamco features in BB
  10. Well there's no reason to complain about good additions (that'd be ungrateful!), but sorry for not liking my new candy in the same wrapper ; w; I think World War Z said it best; if 9 people are all in agreement it's up to the 10th to be the nay sayer! Or something like that = w= at then end of the day it's just honest feedback = 3=
  11. Man whatever, I like the Euro covers; they're done by fans and have at least 2x more imagination than what we actually get... They've literally been using the same composition for the ENTIRE series, I mean Fing A, even XBLAZE has the EXACT SAME composition and setup!
  12. Wow...alot of you guys have problems... ' ^' Man, both covers suck D: the regular is "better" but so...so....expected :\ Imagination is Over! The Library mode looks nice though, further solidifying my double purchase of the import and domestic versions.
  13. I think you mean yaoi Terumi is a sadistic, assertive, handsome man; mystery solved.
  14. I don't think that at all, honestly 4 is the only low point in the series and even it has it's merits. 3 brought with it alot of good ideas, some of which STILL go unused in the original CaS styles and the Arcade Edition was an excellent game! And 3 also featured some of the best single player content, and in a world of trying to get casuals to play, it's sad that they've never received the time or budget to do even 1/2 that work since... 4 features Hilde, a wonderful addition to the cast both in terms of gameplay as a great counter argument to what the series was becoming. Aside from that 4 is pretty crap (but Broken Destiny was some definite improvements, too bad no one played it since it was PSP only ; -; ) then came the light, 5! 5 is the best the series has been since 2 and 3:AE, I'm still iffy about having meter in SC but at least it works better than experiments in 4, 5's only blight was the constant patching which were too soon and were more concerned with nerfing based on user complaint rather than raising everyone up. Also the imagination of new ideas is the best since 3, because Zwei and Viola are pretty rad (too bad one is kinda "bad" and the other is "stupid" lol, but we all gotta start somewhere~) Yes, YES! 3:AE would've been sick, most Americans never got the chance to play it and it would change so many opinions if they did lol, welp lets get 2:HDO to sell well and convinced them to give us 3AEHDO! Unless Necrid is on as restrictive a contract as Spawn, he should come over, but I'm pretty sure McFarland doesn't give a crap, as long as it's in 2 he should be fine. But don't count on the other console exclusive guest (Link, Spawn) ever returning lol (and good, because outside of fan appeal, they were both shit ) Also F Necrid, he's a silly character too D: easy ringouts ahoy ; -;
  15. Cause tournaments are all that matter... And one day if Bamco happens on a magic formula and we get SF4 level of representation of play, then what!? D: Also even if all 50 aren't up, you can still lose to a character/person simply due to shenanigans simply because the pool is that deep ; -; *goes to play DoA*
  16. 3D fighters are hard enough, I don't want to learn 50 matchups .v. And big rosters do nothing to a fighter outside of make the inevitable tier gap that much wider ; -; *goes back to her perfectly refine, 20 matchup game* B<
  17. Welp, guess we're all done playing 5 ; -; And I guess I'm back to full time Xianghua main [say what you will about 4 and 5, I love Hilde orz ] at least I get the best costumes she's ever had in the series P2 and 3. Also still waiting on news for Lost Swords...
  18. No, Tekken's roster in general needs to be nuked. It was already too big in 6, and Tag brought even more clones.
  19. I don't want to live on this planet anymore... That's not even a Tekken Force character, that's a stripper, a FUCKING STRIPPER! I know sexism is a non-issue in Japan, but a little moderation can go a long way. Also the roster needs to be nuked. *goes back to VF*
  20. Double Helix's resume I wouldn't be too worried, have you actually seen Strider in action? They're just making a [poor looking] HD ver of the old arcade game, I doubt they pulled out too much resources for that, hue hue, and if KI is really planned for release this year in Nov, I'm confident they're alot further along than they've shown or else lol
  21. I have no idea what any of this means... Dio Brando (Part 1): Can freeze the opponent with a few of his attacks Stabs opponent with his hands to suck their blood Blood Sucking attacks require additional commands after normal moves are finished Can regain health and meter by sucking blood Enrico Pucci Whitesnake can seal abilities by using his disk stealing technique. Whitesnake can take specific abilities away from an enemy A move titled “14 Phrases” needs to be done to successfully evolve Whitesnake into C-Moon C-Moon can use gravity to turn the opponent upside down, and possibly more. When using the Great Heart Attack (Ougi) with C-Moon Activated, C-Moon Evolves into Made in Heaven (Stairway to Heaven) Made In Heaven makes the background of the stage, and Pucci himself move much faster, while the opponent moves at normal speed.
  22. Getting upset at entertainment preferences in the year 2013, really guys? Also trying to argue to natives about the "legitimacy" of their dub, lol. That's even worse lol
  23. Welp this game is coming to North America in November, but only through PSN
  24. Lost Swords trademarked by Bamco for North America last week, perhaps this is apart of Bamco's Comic Con announcements/panel? .o. I hope it's either a 5 remake with missing cut content added in + definitive balance changes to try and bring everyone up instead of taking people down or it's the next chapter with a good budget and time ; w;
