In the beginning all aimed to imitate the "greatest" martial artist is history; Bruce Lee. But after the Great Moe Wars of the early 2000s all that changed when it was discovered that turning anything and everything into a woman could increase its appeal tenfold. This is our story---The Sadlife Chronicles. But yeah, it's a small thing but I respect the thought behind it and like the results, Jackie Handsome came out really good, and I forgot to mention this on stream, but he sort of reminds me of Hazama (Rumble Fish) both physically [if he undid his hair and ripped off his shirt] and gameplay wise [seeing how they both rely on transitioning into stances and followup, except Hazama was all about that back turn while Ang Lee is all about crouching tiger] -

At this point XBLAZE has as much to do with BlazBlue as Type-0/Agito XIII has to do with the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy [in otherwise, not too damn much]. They aren't even pushing the BB angle that hard, in fact outside of the initial teaser that had snippets of a BB intro [wasn't it console CT?] there's been no further connection or mention of BB at all, outside of 1 shared phrase "The Azure". And of course they're going to do something mainstream, because that's what sells in Japan [their target audience]. And "ammo"!? Is there some insidious organization I don't know about that's only goal is to avert people from BB based on such superficial things such as visual style and themes? Because trust me, BB does that on it's own juuuust fine lol. Even if the FGC is made more aware of XBLAZE, they aren't going to care, it's not a fighter, everyone will mock it for like a week, and forget it even exists again. And I'm not talking about casual gamers adding to the competitive scene, I'm talking about their monetary contributions. Look at Skullgirls, it's nothing but wank material, yet it's presence in the FGC fights on. And when you look at what the series has been able to accomplish due to money raised by fans (which I guarantee you most of them are "anime fans" that only like what they see not what they can do). You can have the best community in the world, but if [enough] people aren't buying the base product, it's going to be alot harder to justify making more. XBLAZE won't hurt BlazBlue, and until you can present something concrete to the contrary, I think we're done here. Good day gentlemen! -

But...BB is full of moeblob cliches too---[see the ENTIRE female cast] Also how many people in the FGC even know XBLAZE even exists [especially outside this forum's community] and who's actually basing their opinion of BB off of it!? And outside of importers [super niche importers since it's a VN] I doubt casual fans even know it exists either, and even if someone brought it over, it could do nothing but help BB as it may get people interested into the larger world and then the fighter itself [even if these aren't the future high level players, at least it gets more exposure, more appeal, and thus the company wants to make more] -

I personally think the designs come in 2 flavors: generically bland (good guys) and eye-soringly terrible (bad guys) It reminds me of when I used to watch the Yu-Gi-Oh series lol Still despite not liking the designs too much, I could definitely invest time into it if the plot can catch my interest [i did it with BB after all :P] -

As far as we can tell: separate story, same universe [and the depth of even that connection is still in question atm]. I'm not fond of XBLAZE [at least not its tendency to follow the same tropes Japanese VNs have followed for DECADES] but it's not affecting BB in any way, so I don't understand blatant hate of it lol. It actually could be cool [despite atrocious, kid show designs] -

I don't think the shadow is simply "when not in use" as it appears static and independent of Chaos, at times not appearing at all while off screen. And I just thought it was just video playback on a PS3, but a hint at console development could be cool. I know the viewers went nuts went they brought up arcade training mode .o. #lowdefpresentations -

We already discussed our fears, now it's time for our hopes and dream! ; -;7 Well they still technically cost 50% since you needed to activate them from a FB move ; w; but having FBs replaced entirely by "lvl 1" supers would be cool since if I wasn't Baiken, I stopped using vanilla supers since AC introduced the mechanic. -

I have a feeling they have alot more done than they're willing to show off; I think at the latest an arcade release of Q3 2014 is reasonable, if this doesn't release in arcades until Q2 of 2015, then yeah, don't think they'll bother with a current gen port and move straight on to making it next gen as by then [arguably a Q1 2016 release at the earliest] I expect nothing but swan songs coming out on PS3 and 360. I don't think Arc would've shown their cards if they weren't making a focused effort on this project especially. -

We probably won't see the game in arcades till the end of this year/early next. And the current gen port probably won't go into production and release until another 6mo~year so by then I'm sure the dust will have settled from PS4/X1/...WiiU? to determine where to go from there, and even so it will probably be another 4mo~year to event sort out all those details. So I'm sure we'll be good = w=b -

I guarantee you, that even if they stayed bad, if they ended games like in OG GG, people would go out of their way to do them. Grand Finals, down to the wire, ROUND 1 > IK > Game over because... Also guys we were doing so well dropping the previous subject .v. -

I'll just wait till you're looking for general testers. I try to discover combos on my own, but what I find is far from "optimal" lol but I do enjoy just testing out the properties and various situations of things and can spend hours on that~ Can't wait to see what else you've got up your sleeves! Also is your new avatar related to the project in any way? -

I'm pretty sure they're just testing other Asian markets [one of the location test is at a Tekken "cafe" and as we all know, the Koreans LOVE THEM some Tekken] to see if pursuing a push in other territories is worth it. If this were testing for significant updates, it would be happening in Japan, not Korea, that's for sure. BlazeBlue: ChronoPhantasma the Korean ver OST incoming -
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH! Bryant Double Flip Kick is MAD hype lol I don't like Jacky in VF but if I pick up Sarah in DoA (learn to deal with those changed commands .v.) I'd definitely would run this team XD Also most hype Critical Blow!? Also funny that they don't directly translate Ein's "Good vibration" line any more OH and new mountain stage is pretty hype too, probably endless fall like the ice one.
