Huh, noticed in the latest trailer most everyone is paired up in logical ways DLC > Murakumo > New Faces > ??? [how do the Clovers relate to house Alucard?] > ??? [this one is a bit of a stretch too, but both are prominent to Bang I guess] > Sector 7 > 6 Heroes [greatest animosity?] > Academy Trio > Protagonist That 2nd image is drawn so awkward...for so many reasons....

Also the figure doesn't look like Nine since she has blond hair, unless she suffers from Jill mind control syndrome. Honestly, I can see both as a valid option; developers aren't going to just up and abandoned the old consoles immediately, there will still be a market at least till about 2015ish but I think it largely also depends if they're using Unreal 3 or 4, if it's the former, it should make that much easier, if it's the latter well I'm not sure how compatible 4 is with older systems if at all. -

Wouldn't that just put it in the same position as the Parry system from SF3? You also don't define what "removing the execution barrier" entails; if we increase the window ever so slightly, I don't think it'd be the end of the world, that'd just make it a mechanic used more (I've seen tons of matches from both Japan and America and the number of Slash Backs used is very low, and that's not even taking into account the number of successful ones), enabling it on wake up would be no different from doing a DP on wake up would it not? Since you have to time and more importantly commit to it, and if you do it wrong well they opponent [should] make you pay for it. I won't even ponder a safe option lol. Also outside of execution, I think you need to think of it in the larger scale of things, for example in Battle Fantasia with Gachi (a Parry/Slash Back mechanic) is how you get your bigger combos and punishes, however despite this you also have to deal with highly variable outcomes due to different options coming from both players states and such. So making a Slash Back simpler could result in making the pay off less where as I hope that the current pay off for them is huge for the amount of trouble needed to get one (other wise might as well just block or instant block, no?) Honestly if they were going to drop a system, I hope it's Slash Backs, they aren't need and I feel [or at least from what I've observed] don't add as much to the gameplay as I think they initially hoped. Also I have no interest in talking about Xrd, I'm talking specifically about AC since this seemed like a prime moment to ask about said mechanic. -

I personally pronounce it "Zurd" as I assume the intention is word play to make it sound like "Third" as X and XX were never pronounced as such (ゼクス/Zekusu and イグゼクス/Iguzekusu respectively). But yeah I wouldn't mind him as the announcer, but it would be nice to hear from Gregory Payne again XD -

I've said it before and I'll say it again; If you're expecting everyone from the start, prepare for disappointment. Period. There's almost no avoiding such an outcome. Prediction: 6-4 ratio of New to Old in initial Arcade build, several returning as console timed exclusive characters to hype up the release, more (and possibly all remaining) returning characters as DLC to rack in nostalgia dollars, worst case scenario some characters will have to wait til a major revision or sequel to come back. We'll get everyone, it just might take time. 80% of the world is [salty] water -

At the very least it's safe to assume that PBX will be based of Another Code (the arcade version) which will be the 2nd major revision the game has received (the original console version being the first with it's 1.10 update which is what the NA ver was releasing as hence the original delay). Also PBAC just received an update today and on the character page there's now a ??? so at least 1 new character in X is a given. Also I don't think the "success" barrier is all that high in Japan for any property; that or Japan thinks the more you push it it will eventually sell (enough). Then again since this is made by MAGES they probably have the popularity of their VN pedigree to fall on [even if not that many previously establish characters appear] -
It was only a matter of time for Ein to come [farewell Hitomi mains who aren't women trying to empower themselves or men with stiffies] but if Jacky is as good as his VF5FS ver, prepare to see alot more VF in tournaments [in America] lol. Honestly still not sure how much I like the crossover [as I want people to play VF itself and Sarah few button changes make her really awkward to switch between] but hopefully this will at least keep thee series in the broader audience's mind.

Ok, so Phantom Breaker: Extra is coming to PS3 [finally!] and 360 [not many details on it] but 7Sixty STILL haven't released the English ver of the original game to the public, maybe something will happen with this version :V -
There was back when that BR5 hoax was floating around, it was closed off [and I guess deleted?] when it turned out to be false. Fuck you Hecatom for putting my hopes up, you bastard . . .

A visual example The left (X) is what Xrd does, where 1 model will overlap the other, the right (check) is what numerous other titles do (SF for example) in which 1 model will go "through" another -
Don't worry I know the feeling lol Well then it really just comes down to how much you like the franchises each game represents or the core game itself. But personally if I were in your position I'd probably opt for Jojo's if only because its newer and thus more shiny (and hence more attractive + w+) But I'd also considering waiting on Jojo's if you don't plan on getting the uber special edition since there's a relatively good chance the game may see international release. But in the end the choice is yours (flip a coin!)

Honestly, as much as I love, Love, LOVE this game, unless you have friends (offline) willing to play, it's probably not the best investment. Online is pretty bad (thus the presence is tiny) so while you can find several individuals on here or Homing Cancel, it probably won't be the best experience just for that alone.

Sin, Raven, That Man, and Valentine, all valid choices... But who would want to see Gabriel D: and please no, no Xtra characters ; w; Franny could make a good alternative to Faust. Crow is a terrible character, no one wants to see him "fight" (of which he'd probably be just like AC+/the Kokonoe in where he just gets shitty Justice fakes to fight lol) Meh on Judgment, but this game could use some LEOPALDON! (and I'm not even trying to troll) Just from their little exchange there's a good chance of the bounty Sol seeks being a new character. But yeah I expect the initial arcade roster to consist of 6:4 in terms of new to old, the initial console release to have more returning to build hype, and the planned DLC to include even more returning to lock in dem nostalgia dollars.
