RANDOM Halloween stuffs: The Walking Dead premiere was HYPE. Premiere episode + 2 encore presentations, was pretty cool. Some things that I didn't get to do this past Halloween: - Explore the Spencer Mansion and Raccoon City. - Explore the Himuro Mansion/Minakami Village/House of Sleep. - Explore Silent Hill.

Having 'hype' and 'interest' is good and all but that can only take you so far until you actually play the game for yourself. Your opinion on the game may/may not change once you are able to play the game. A portion of 'new' people that are seemingly interested in AH3 will probably be playing the game/series for the first time and it will be a new experience for them. AH, like MB, is a niche FG since it's ANIMU, but moreso since it's SUGOI KAWAII ANIMU most people won't even try it out despite it actually being a fun and good game. Also, in regard to the 808 FG stuffs, besides myself and Bears (and maybe some others with RANDOM interest?) no one else really played AH back in 07/08 when we played it, AFAIK. That and there didn't seem to be much interest in AH, from my POV anyway. So when either myself or Bears hears when someone (new?) says that they are interested in a certain FG that we play or have experience in, especially when it's seemingly out of the blue in regard to our past experiences, it's a surprise to us cause this is Hawaii where not that many people actually play ANIMU FGs, much less actually talk about them, at all. Just don't pull an 'Ihpsta', lol.

Somewhat RANDOM 'talk story' stuff: From the middle of summer to the present I've played through: PS2 JRPGs - AI2 - VP2 - P4 Probably gonna play P3 FES after a 2nd playthrough of P4, lol. For some reason, I wanna 'talk story' about MH stuffs... Anyone here play/used to play MH?

You can have those chars, lol. The 1st, I was considering possibly playing as one of my subs. The 3rd, probably only play RANDOMLY. However, the following chars have been already called as main(s) and are OFF LIMITS: Kuro: Heart and Akane Bears: Eko and Catherine 'Character Love' is SRS BSNS. One problem that I have in AH is the same problem I have in Melty; chars selection. There's a good amount of chars in both games that I would consider playing/learning. WHATCHU TALKIN ABOUT? Pro strats right there, mang, lol.

People play airdash games at those places/events? lol In the SRK AH3 thread, the OGs putting the 'new AH players' on BLAST, yet again, is GDLK.

I have less hype for FM:E after watching some gameplay vids, but I'd probably give it a try though... someday, lol. As for the change in gameplay stuffs? Square Enix had Double Helix Games work on FM:E. DHG also worked on Silent Hill: Homecoming. IIRC, that entry in the SH franchise had a lukewarm reception due to various issues ranging from gameplay stuffs ('knife was too strong?' and 'save points were lacking?') and story related stuffs ('Pyramid Head stuff' and I think 'main character background stuffs'). Yeah... Compared to the whole 'DmC fiasco', this doesn't seem that bad, lol.

My thoughts on some stuff from TGS 2010: Asura's Wrath GIANT SPACE BUDDHA SHINING FINGER... QTE? Japanese 'God of War' looks interesting though. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow I haven't played a CV game since SotN and the only 3D CV I've played was LoI. I would probably want to try it out though. Catherine The preview for this game is quite... interesting. Atlus, where's my new 'Persona' announcement? lol Front Mission Evolved Hmmm... This game has an 'Armored Core' feel to it and I don't know what to make of it. I am interested in the SRPG FM games though (played through 4 and somewhat playing through 3). Could be an interesting take on the gameplay which seems to be more action oriented now, but will probably boil down to gunfights and missile barrages, lol. Disgaea 4 Played the 1st game and skipped out on the 2nd and 3rd games. My interest in this series has dropped off quite a bit, but power leveling and transmigration stuffs was fun, lol. Monster Hunter Portable 3rd Wild animal harassment continues, lol. I still want a PS3 MH though. Project Dark (working title) I should probably get around to playing Demon's Souls... Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes I played the demo and I liked it, quite reminiscent of DW/SW/WO stuffs. Shadows of the Damned The Mikami/Suda 51/Yamaoka 'project' looks pretty hype. 'Survival Horror' makes a comeback? The 3rd Birthday I'm not too sure about this 'Overdive' gameplay mechanic, which seems to be somewhat similar to what was featured in 'Killer 7'. It makes me wonder if Aya's PE abilities still play a role in what seems to be an action intensive game with emphasis on this 'Overdive' (switching) mechanic and '3rd person shooter' stuffs. Yakuza: Of the End A 'Yakuza' game... with zombies? HYPE DmC WTF IS THIS SHIT?

Who knows? I'd be surprised if the MB 808 thread suddenly became active again, or something.

Maybe fish summon for oki would've worked better here instead? 2:50 / 'Dash into throw' is strong, lol. No fish summon for oki though... 3:01 / Bad fish summon here since SL hit you with a Mappa Punch. Round 2 3:16 to 3:17 / Good read with the 2D into special cancelled fish summon for oki at the start of the round. 3:20 to 3:25 / 5D out of nowhere, lol. Nice Dust into follow up air combo and getting the combo to KD into the corner afterward. 3:35 to 3:36 / You were in a crouching position for far too long here. 3:39 to 3:44 / Nice throw here with a follow up combo after oki to finish off SL and win the round. Round 3 3:50 / Why 2K at the start of the round? 4:02 to 4:03 / Nice CH j.H here but too bad you missed the follow combo for extra damage + KD. 4:11 to 4:13 / Nice counter with c.S here for a combo. I think you might've been able to get a KD if you omitted 5H here and just did f.S>Ice Spike instead. 4:15 to 4:18 / Nice throw with follow up combo here. 4:18 to 4:19 / Yay for Ice Spike FRC! Fish summon was a good option after the FRC. 4:24 / AA 5D? 4:30 / LOL at the double burst. Some comments: - Utilize more summons to protect your 'Aggro Dizzy' rushdown. lol - Work on your 'cross over' mixup stuffs. You seemed to be missing on ADing back into the opponent for an attack. Bubble oki cross over stuffs are an option after 2D KD. - 5D stuffs outside of fish summon mixup is quite risky. That's about it.

@Lunar It's cool. Stuff happens, right? My thoughts on the FB group stuffs: The proposed title of 'hawaii's airdash community' is a bit too broad, IMO. Considering that there are a lot of 'airdash' FG's like GG, MB, BB, AH, and other ANIMU/DONJON FG's, I think it would be better to focus on BB stuffs, since that is what probably prompted the idea for a FB group thing in the first place. I'm a bit more partial toward using a FG forum for local matchmaking stuffs, especially this thread for GG related stuff and maybe even other places like MB if people actually start using the 808 thread there, but the DL 808 thread is fine too for ANIMU FG stuffs. Also, it's kind of a 'checks and balances' sort of thing utilizing a FG forum matchmaking section for local discussion stuff, from my experience anyway. That, and I don't use FB, lol. My suggestions for the FB group name: Hawaii Blazblue Community Blazblue Hawaii Community Just my opinion though.

@King33 How badly did you beat Ihpsta to make him quit after only 1 match? lol Well, at least he showed up to play, even though it was more or less his 'first and last' GG casual match. He didn't show up for GG casuals when I went up to Oahu for a weekend back in Nov 09. This is an example of why having casuals is important in regard to scene stuffs. @Bears Maybe you'll get in some GG casuals this time around... MB casuals is still good though. @EVAC Drunk stuffs with Melty sound pretty fun, lol. Apparently, someone thinks that I'm obnoxious, or something. LOL
