What I'd rather like to know is how a slow move like Daifunka could possibly hit them after a 5D launch, unless the untech time is so long that they fall back into it, which seems rather unlikely.

3 bars and Same Area Only is, like, the only way to get a playable match on ranked. If you don't set it to Same Area Only, sometimes the game just gives up and sticks you with a 0, 1, or 2 bar connection and then you gotta restart the game or pick Tager/Jin/Ragna if you don't want to spend the next ten minutes not being able to do anything thanks to crippling lag.

Why are you quitting Bang just because a bunch of random scrubs like Skye and Smooshman tell you to? Protip: They don't know shit about Blazblue, don't listen to them. What you SHOULD be doing is picking the character you want to play and actually learning him. What problem are you having with Bang's 5B 2B 2C 2B 623B Daifunka combo exactly? Where is the combo breaking?

We already went over this, techable 2C gives him more options in exchange for a bit of damage, and honestly I'd rather take a beastly pressure/mixup game over HURR I HAS DAMAGE. His damage output isn't even THAT borked to begin with, it's not even close to what Litchi and Ragna can do off just about everything. -

Uh do you even play Bang? Do you even understand how bumpers work or are you just one of the Bangs that only use D nail and Daifunka? His bumper game just went from gimmicky to beastly now that he can guarantee emergency roll and/or free corner setup. -

Bang techable 2C and non-wallbouncing 623B are buffs, yo. He still gets seals just as easily using C nail loops and now he's going to have hilariously good bomper setups. Now he can 5A 5B 2B 2C bumper and mixup off the bumper if they emergency roll and 2B 6C air combo > corner bumper if they don't. Plus he actually has good corner combos now there's no tradeoff between mixup/pressure and damage in the corner now. I am predicting that Bang will continue to be the most hated character in BBCS2, except that instead of damage (omg 3k damage 2 much) people will be whining about bumper setups. His only real nerf is that he doesn't do quite as much damage overall per combo and that he can't get seals on crouch. -

Theoretically you could IB his uncharged 214D~A, activate FRKZ, and 5A for a punish. Activate FRKZ 5A is the fastest punish in the game at 3 frames. Then again Hazama would have to be all sorts of stupid to even try to randomly overhead Bang when he could just 5A, Ashura, or Daifunka through it. You shouldn't be dialing in 3C overhead at all, in fact. Maybe once in a blue moon.

5C has huge enough range that a bit of range decrease won't really affect it. As for 6A, Jin's never needed an overhead to be broke, I don't see why he suddenly needs one now.

Lol, it was completely necessary because it meant that he didn't have any kind of fast poke that hit crouchers, nor did he have a real AA (he still doesn't have one now). I guess they decided to make up for the fact that he has no solid 2A poke and no AA with a 5A that works as a decent substitute for both. Note that they haven't nerfed his 5A, because he would instantly go back to total shit if they did. Yeah he could hit 3k off 5A in CT too, but then you had to give up all your seals and oki. Also for the last time, people need to stop acting like Bang has broke damage or something. His damage is slightly above-average at best, and his meter gain isn't particular phenomenal (it isn't terrible, but it isn't Litchi/Valkenhayn/Ragna/Hazama) either. He gets a lot off Daifunka and in FRKZ and that's really about it. The reason Bang is broke is because he has absurdly good mixup, approach, safe pressure, and goes into FRKZ really easily, which is where the real brokenness begins. If you want to complain about anything complain about FRKZ, or you can be like that one scrub back in the other thread who thought FRKZ was useless and a troll super.

5B being a level 3 normal makes it the same stun as 2B, which combos into 6C. Ergo 5B > 6C should work.

Bang's 5B being + on block makes me lol hard. Also 5B going straight into 6C now means that he can probably 3-seal off 2A so now you all have even more of a reason to rage at Bang.

You know who also doesn't have any 6.5 matchups in CS? Bang. Must be low tier. Why they nerf Bang, he low tier, etc. I seriously don't understand why people are surprised that a character who can jump to the top of the screen, out of anyone's reach, and do whatever he wants completely safe up there while an unblockable cloud gets him free curse for zero effort would have that be nerfed. As an aside, anyone who thinks Arakune has shitty mixup needs to learn to mix up better. If you can't get past someone's guard in all of 15 seconds of safe instant overheads, lows, crossups, and tick throws then maybe fighting games aren't for you. Hell, you don't even have to worry about them fighting back because his bugs stay out on block, which is easily the stupidest thing ever.

Ouroboros used to go to full (2 stocks) if hit or guarded. Now it only goes up one, I guess. That'll somewhat prevent Hazama from just poking you with a chain and then zooming around everywhere. Not that it really was a huge problem other than scrubs thinking they're being so smart. Maybe for Tager, I dunno. If they would speed up Zaneiga so it combos off something besides 3C then maybe 3C nerf wouldn't be as gamebreaking for Hazama.

Jin has a beastly all-around game already, the last thing he needs is a normal as good as 6B to become an overhead, especially with all the other bullshit he's getting currently. I lol when all the CT "Jin loyals" who dropped him like a hot potato when he turned out to not be top tier in CS are now clamoring to play him again.

Nah, A nail is still the same, if that's what you're asking. Also CT was only fun if you played top tier. For anyone else CS is vastly superior.
