I apologize for the sudden change, but the event is now on SUNDAY (12/11) starting at 2PM. I am really sorry about this, but Super Arcade has informed me that because they are having ST on a Supergun for Saturday, they will not be able to accommodate us. Also, because I love bearing bad news, the coverage charge is also $5 instead of $3. If you really, honestly, cannot pay the extra $2 to make it out here, I subsidize it for you, but there's not much else I can do at this point. Other than cancel, if a lot of people are really like I CAN'T/WON'T GO ANYMORE. Please give me a headcount ASAP in this thread, because if it seems like only 3-4 people are going to make it out, I'm just gonna invite you people to my house instead. We're settled in on 12/10/11 for FINAL DANISEN BATTLE SEASON 1. This event will actually be a DOUBLE ELIMINATION TOURNAMENT in preparation for SCR the following week. So please come out and set the stage for the final tournament of the year! I think we're only going to do venue fee ($3), so the prize will be something extremely random. And yes, Danisen points will be applied to the tournament itself. Other than that, come on to fight it out.

I apologize, I meant to say "Install" as an abridged "Tsubaki Install", but I guess you guys call it Mugen (you guys and your newfangled terminology). He says 衣 which is the short hand in Japanese for the Mugen super. If you care about my opinion, I think it could be legit in some ways. Taokaka got a nerf in many situational hits, as she can no longer launch standing opponents in EX (5b -> 6a no longer combos on standing opponents) and the way some of her drive attacks hit, but she's still considered a damaging character due to AB2 combos, so... maybe?

2DD 4B is more for gravity-less combos than anything else. You could also set up a Calamity sword hit, which may/may not deal more damage in the current game.

Ffffffffffrrghhhhhhhh. I have the click of doom. My HD is fubar so I don't know if I'm going to be able to do another show soon. I'm gonna try using my old laptop, but I can't make any promises until I have it totally fixed... Edit: Fixed my computer! Albeit too late to actually prep for tonight's show. In case none of you got the memo, the rest of the Danisens are canceled until we find an indoor venue. We're considering Super Arcade, but that would greatly increase the distance for a lot of you (SD, Irvine, LA, Long Beach, Myself :O) folk, and for you extra poverty folk you'll have to pay like $2-3. If we can't get like 15~20 of you guys to show up to it regularly, consider it off the list for the time being. The other solution would be to rent out the club-house in my community. The availability is somewhat limited and it's about $100 a go (with a $500 deposit), so unless about 20 of you guys want to give me $5 every two weeks, it probably isn't going to happen either. Regarding Post 12/17 Danisens, I can't run anymore Danisens until after I return from Japan (I'll be gone from 12/24 to 1/14), so it's safe to say that the end of Season 1 is on 12/17, regardless of whether or not there are any more Danisens. So yeah, post if you can make it to Super Arcade Bi-Weekly-ish. I'm willing to come out and even change the format to make it more LOUD ARCADE NOISES friendly.
