What do you mean only when they're in the air? 2C lifts them off the ground. The reason people don't frequently do the tsubame route is because most Litchi players hitconfirm into 2C. Corner combos are stronger that way and it's also safer and leaves more options than 5C on block.

Lol. 5B 2C delay 5C(1) 6D(1) works, it's just really hard and I think it's character specific, you need to be point blank.
-
Other than trolling, no. 2B[m] 6A[m] increases the range, so you can maybe tag someone for some damage from farther away.

A universal mechanic of groundslide is the duration is shortened the higher the opponent is off the ground when struck.

Shishin is useful in some matchups, mainly those where you want the staff back as soon as possible (namely Hakumen, Tager, sometimes Valkenhayn). Once it's out it's a much stronger "wall" tool than 5D or 2D is, with the benefit of the getting the staff back quickly after use, also unlike 5D and 2D. As for oki, I don't recommend using it. Litchi will 95% of the time have meter for Daisharin and 2D oki is strong enough without it. Midscreen daisharin should be used sparingly. The main uses for it imo are to protect yourself so you can gauge your situation safely and reposition yourself (input directions that will keep the staff near Litchi) or zoning off an area of the screen while you enter from the opposite (zone off the ground and enter from the air, zone out the air and run in). People will try their best not to block or get hit by Daisharin, so keep that in mind when inputting it offensively, make the pattern more sporadic and unpredictable.

While this is nitpicky, you really should not use 5C as a starter for combos/damage values. Something like 2A or 2B is more realistic and common.

Delaying Hatsu slightly can either help or actually ruin your combo. You should practice always delaying it so you learn the distances where you shouldn't delay Hatsu, you'll eventually get the feel for it. It's also not always necessary, so it's really up to your judgment. Dash kote usually makes the combo always work. No, it doesn't. Due to the recovery from 6kote, the previous input is no longer stored.

Thanks! I guess all these multiple people complaining are just crazy.

If my word helps any, I also don't think it's entirely the cabs (even if it was, I got used to it pretty quickly) I was having consistent problems with directional inputs on the arcade cabinets. Dash buffering was a noticeable problem and during Litchi daisharin (13xxxx input) my 1 input would always come out as 3.

Actually at max 2B[m] 6A[m] chain distance, you're very safe regardless of Tager blocking it or not. 6A[m] is still only -2 (-5 on IB). That's not that much of a disadvantage when you're half the screen away. Just backdash if jump backwards, he can't do anything about it unless you're magnetized. The reason 6A[m] isn't a good choice is because unless it CHs for some reason or you spend 50 meter, there's no reward. It leaves you at +1 on hit so you can't just be grabbed for free, but it's not the place you want to be in this matchup. Don't bother with using this against him other than very sparingly, there's just no reward for it. Zone him with 6B[m], 6C[m], Itsuu and when he jumps 2C[m]/j.A/airgrab is still a good mixup. ItsuuA is also now a very strong option which you can easily replace 2C[m] with. If you have 50 meter and want to rush him down, 5A hits him crouching and rising j.C]m[ hits him crouching. The match isn't fun, but it's fairly easy when you know how to play it. Just lame him out.

You don't have a 100% answer for gadget finger. Jump back j.A is probably your safest option, since it only gets beaten by Gadget Finger 5A which doesn't lead to much damage.
-
As far as I know it does, 2C will work on anyone it doesn't (like Hakumen or Tager for being too large to do it fast enough) j.2D 6C dash under 5B Hatsu will cause the opponent to fall behind Litchi when you do IppatsuA. Dash under 5B 6B will cause them to fall in front of you. For reference, Tanki Hatsu is just another way to notate/say IppatsuB.

You're always welcome should you decide to visit!

There is likely housing available for everyone attending. I may be able to house someone (this is very unsure, probably not necessary either)

It's not techable.

Too many to really specifically list, I had a great time seeing everyone there and a huge thanks again to everyone who made the kind gesture to help PNW make the trip. We literally couldn't have done it without you. It's always nice to have a big turnout and we don't really get that kind of thing up here. Cheers to everyone in brackets and all the people who stepped up to have casuals with me throughout the day. As for commentary, I'm always happy to help on the mic! It was a fun experience to get the chance to do so and I guess the stream enjoyed me (a little too much! D:) Shoutouts to 3D glasses, maybe I should have kept wearing them! I'll make sure I have the Noel matchup down next time, so be ready Noel players
