  1. 3C CH ItsuuC 5D (brief hold) Hatsu Chun staff2 2C 6D/4D corner combo is ideally what you should go for.
  2. I really doubt there's a more optimized 3C CH combo than what we have already. 3K is pretty respectable anyways considering you get a lot of corner carry and meter gain from the combo. And the brief time window where you can Shishin or D after Itsuu keeps the staff in 2D set, there's no way to change it.
  3. I've been reading everything you say and I'm honestly tired of the garbage you post over and over. You don't read a damn thing anyone says to you. Stop looking for attention here.
  4. Play a different character if you care so much about tier placement.
  5. I haven't noticed such a thing. You may want to check if you're subconsciously barriering/IB barriering it.
  6. 236B is unpunishable on block under any circumstances and the best you're getting on 236C is a 5A on normal block (if it even reaches) or dash 5A/2A/5B]m[ on IB.
  7. Her placing seems somewhat sporadic right now, it doesn't really matter in this game. If you're not in the S-tier, your placement doesn't really change anything.
  8. If you watch the video he shows setups off it at 2:20..
  9. -likes post- People may want to consider the fact your depth perception is going to be different when switching to and from the stream set up from the arcade setups.
  10. Also if you autoguard something like Dead Spike or Jin's 2D and use Itsuu the projectile still eats it anyways
  11. yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay
  12. For instance at 00:35, you used Shishin and combo'd into 3C[m] rather than 2C[m]. Basically what you want to accomplish when you're hitting a grounded opponent is to gatling into 2C[m] 6D when in the corner. One thing to note is that if you use something like 2C 5C, if you get the staff back during your 5C]m[ you can gatling into 2C[m] as your previous 2C]m[ is a completely different normal. I can't tell you the timing as it varies and it's an experience thing, your best bet is to just practice in training mode at different parts of the stage, learning when exactly you'll get the staff back during your gatlings and how to convert it into a BnB. I wasn't necessarily critiquing your actual use of Shishin, just your apparent lack of comfort when receiving the staff during your staffless gatlings.
  13. I'd like to clarify that as far as I know, PNW had a great time anyways despite the tournament problems. I myself enjoyed casuals and hanging out with people that I haven't seen in a long time, however, the scheduling is consistently off and people are ALWAYS late and ALWAYS go out to eat. This has to stop, you have to actually do something, cut the bullshit. If you DQ'd me because I went off to dick around when I knew I had to show up, then that's my fault. You should treat everyone else the same way, out of town or not. As tournament entrants, we're obligated to abide by the tournament rules and schedule. To add on to that note, my biggest problem was that Saturday night I could not get an answer for when BB finals were. That's not acceptable, I don't want to ask my TOs when finals are and have them say "we don't know yet" the night before finals. I need to sleep, I was called at 12 PM and asked where the hell I was and then I show up to the venue and finals don't start for 6 or so hours. That kind of disorganization shouldn't be happening for a tournament that calls itself a major.
  14. The thing that stood out to me most is you don't seem like you have a good feel of when you will get the staff back after calling it, using Shishin, etc. It's really important to have that skill as a Litchi player as it will make your hitconfirming and pressure much stronger when you understand when and how to continue your gatlings in order to combo/pressure.
  15. The best you can do for confirming 5B or 2B CH is seeing your opponent use a move as you also use yours. You're likely not going to react in time even then, it's more of just an assumption thing. "I think they're going to hit a button here so I'll go for the CH -> 6C" etc.
  16. 6B and 5B are both level 3 moves so yes.
  17. You need to fix your attitude. Every time I see someone offer you advice or help in this forum you always have an excuse to throw at them. Meet up with local BlazBlue players because you DO have some near you. If you aren't willing to travel then you already don't have what it takes to be a good player, sitting at home isn't going to get you anywhere 95% of the time. I answer questions all the time in here, you don't need a mentor. You need to stop being lazy and use the vast information you have at hand, suck it up, sit down and practice. Think about the game theory, watch match videos and ask yourself "Why is this player doing x? Why is it even working in the first place?". You want to take it seriously, so take it seriously.
  18. Play a more basic character until you can understand the game and system mechanics. If you still don't even understand basic game mechanics, you're fighting an uphill battle trying to learn a more complex character. Also: Go to meets.
  19. I should do this too! Shoutouts to: Xie and Dacid: REAL DODGING Stayfree: Stay salty broski. 20. You all should do well to remember that a moderator's basic duty is to moderate offensive or off-topic content among boards. It is not Dusty's, KV's or any other potential moderator ever to supply you with information. Post your own tech, find your own info, learn match-ups, if you want the boards to be good, a moderator is not going to make or break it. It's the users. I even think it's ludicrous that boards even have 2 moderators, the traffic of this site hardly requires 2 per character board. LK is the only Litchi moderator but he also has Mynus and myself supplying information and answering questions consistently over almost 2 years of time, not including other users piping up. I'm not speaking about anyone's performance as a moderator and what I think of it, but really guys, take care of your own boards. Easy way to earn respect.
  21. The 6A route will give you more meter and damage(?) but it's more difficult and very sensitive to proration. Go with the Chun route, especially on the characters with smaller hitboxes.
  22. Never hit them after a successful mixup until Kokushi is finished, unless they will die from you mashing buttons on them during the super. Then you just do whatever you want. As Djudo said, TK Chun > 6D is the best possible route after a successful mixup during Kokushi.
  23. My post is about canceling before the throw even fully completes, avoiding the 3rd hits proration.
  24. Never seen this mentioned nor done, came across it in training mode. Litchi can special cancel her forward throw still, JUST before the final hit comes out (as she lifts her leg, to give an idea of the timing). This is only useful staffless in the corner with the staff in the correct position to do the BnB. You get a 500-600 damage increase and more meter. 6Throw > Hatsu > RiichiA > IppatsuAB > Haku > Hatsu > RiichiA > j.2B > Hatsu > Haku > Chun > 5B > 5D > Chun > 6D > Ender of choice Omit the 5D > Chun for 2D set and just 5B > 6C etc.
