Yeah, you'll probably find out lots of crazy things by accident, that's how I learned a lot of stuff when I was starting out.
-
It doesn't especially when I remember how scrubby you are, lol. On topic: I agree with LK and Dacid. Precurse Ara is pretty good when people know what's up.
-
It just takes time, keep it up! Maybe record some videos so we can give you more pointers based on your actual play.

Paying attention to whether he has spark bolt or not is reaaally important since it goes through ALL your projectiles ~_~

Your first priority should be to keep Tager out with careful zoning. Don't press D or 5C while you're in range for Sledge Hammer, if you're in that range try to get out of it. The matchup is very boring but it's in your favor. If you're magnetized you need to IB and jump/backdash away (they both have risks since Lambda's backdash is not airbourne and he can mixup your jumpout with Atomic Collider), if you know an attack is coming you can 214A him after IBing. Don't use reversal Calamity Sword since he can also Sledge it. If your opponent is using B Sledge in blockstrings, IB the move before it and hit/grab him before B sledge comes out. If Tager jumps, 6D/2D him, if he blocks, cancel into 214D/214DC or jump cancel and get away. If you want to oki him, do it with meaty 5B. He can't A buster since it needs 3 frames before the invincibility, and if he backdashes you can late chain into 6B by hitting B again to punish him. If he has 50 meter though don't even try that.

What's happened in that situation is that you've buffered in the DP motion. VV is 623S/HS. If you dash buffer a 2D and then press 3HS you've done 662D3HS. In all fighting games the inputs are stored for a certain amount of frames, it's not a shortened or simplified motion, you just previously input it while doing something else.
-
For Ky spamming Stun Edge, you can 2D under them or Grand Viper under and punish. Pressing your advantage with Sol can be difficult since his pressure options aren't the greatest, usually Sol blockstrings are kept to a few hits/ticks into Wild Throw or GF FRC into mixup.

Blade never really knows what he's talking about, don't be so surprised.

Your first combo isn't working because that's the TK GH combo, not grounded. It still works.

Not calling you a newb or anything dude, just saying to read it because from the OP it sounded like you hadn't. JI is really easy to understand once you do it. The easiest way to learn is to do it with two moves and then super jump and see if you can jump again. Try doing 5K 8 2HS super jump and then double jump. If you want to know when to do BR in combos, generally it's after j.D. A simple air combo could be j.KS dj.SD BR. When you land, instead of doing VV you can get a better knockdown by doing 5K 5S/2HS ground BR.

What is Hazama going to do though when he's out? If you IB chains he can't get in safely, sure he can fly around the screen like a circus act but that isn't going to get him places on mostly everyone. You need to zone him more intelligently, you don't have to smash D to zone which is what you're making it sound like. There's no need to fear chains that much. Hakumen is a bit more troublesome but he doesn't have an easy way in, again you just need to zone more intelligently. It's not like he has a 1 frame move that recovers immediately to cut swords with. If he's jumping around trying to cut swords without reacting, shoot one in between the attacks. Mixup with 6A/6D/Airgrab if he airdashes. @Overheat: How is putting yourself at disadvantage a mind game? There's no way to make a TK Feint safe. That doesn't sound like much of a mind game when you're always at a clear disadvantage. You use it way too much IMO and the people you play aren't punishing it either due to lack of knowledge or they're just bad players. You can get a feint off every now and then but using it every single time you're close is a terrible idea.
-
I'd hate to burst your bubble, but you weren't playing mind games.
-
I've never gotten to play Pulsr. So what if he was asking you to do so? I would assume he wanted to learn how to deal with it and that's how he could've dealt with it. TK Feint is never safe, ever.
-
That Ragna should've been 5A/5B/IDing you every time you did that feint, considering you were using it far too often. You don't even need to IB anything before it... And what american 'pros' have you played? I'm very curious.
-
You're not going to find completely inoptimal combos in the new players thread. Try learning what's there rather than making up an air combo that isn't going to do much damage. After your execution truly becomes good enough and you know how to play Sol, then you should try making up your own stuff.
-
It's still worth mentioning, since some people do use those characters.
-
Current Code has also removed Mecha-Hisui teams from the PS2 port.
-
Lambda is a zoning character, forgoing her main gameplay so you can use a playstyle she's less suited for would be setting yourself up for failure. And no, neither Hakumen nor Hazama force you to not use swords. If you feel like you're forced to stop using them, you're not using them intelligently. I'd say a better idea is not to isolate a facet of your character in exchange for another one, but learn both at the same time so you can be proficient in both.

hey yo i bring dat three siddy for five thousand dollas

I'd like to point out that Litchi also has an instant over-head on Tager staffless. Rising j.C will hit crouching Tager. If you have KM or Daisharin out you can combo off of it and if not but have the 50 meter, RC into falling j.CB 2C 3C into the appropriate combo.

...lol.
