It's stale, even at EVO while I was playing casuals I wasn't having as much fun as I used to. I don't like the fact that projectiles don't build guard gauge anymore (although clearly if they did some characters would need nerfs to certain pressure tools or something) and I think a few characters are pretty stupid. I just have some minor gripes with the game and I've been playing MB since I really enjoy the game, and BB:CS for larger meets, so my interest in GG:AC is pretty low.

I don't play much anymore. Competition got stale since I wanted to play new people and I think AC kind of sucks.

I can have Jason bring my CRT, so that'll be one. If you need more PS3s I can bring my slim and Joe's copy of CS.

A common way would be to pressure or move a certain way for an extended period of time, long enough to where your opponent begins to expect what you will do. Then you simply do something different. Putting it very basically, at least. EDIT: I got rocked

IIRC you can only do 3 ItsuuAs in a combo if you start it off of 2C[m]. After ItsuuC you need to do 6C as early as possible, no specific timing is involved.

6C I believe has repeat proration, you can do the full loop if you only use it in the loop once. Evilragnarok, you can also try delaying Hatsu after Haku when going for IppatsuA, it allows the opponent to float farther forward preventing them crossing you up.

Who's running MB? And for MB/GG we should make sure we have CRTs ideally. I can bring my PS2 stick and a 'copy' of MB (although that probably shouldn't happen), Tae has his MB copy and I'm sure we can bring it. I have a copy of GGAC+ so I can bring that too with a PS2.

Oh, I know that. But to be honest it really offends me when people come into our stream and start bitching and moaning, or saying somebody sucks etc. It's just absolutely disrespectful to our scene when we're kind enough to let ourselves be streamed and kind enough to set up the stream in the first place. But you know, it's only the same handful of people doing it and I think I'm developing a serious problem with them. I don't think I'm the only one who doesn't appreciate that. Coming in here only to see those exact same people complaining about the game just really hammers it in for me. Quit being scrubs and suck it up, imo.

Good post LK. I can't see anything you didn't cover! Of course there's also other slight variations to the loop, but all the times I try them I usually wind up with the same damage output. So I don't think I'll bother posting the other 2 I know (i've messed with a 3rd that I haven't seen but I don't know if it works correctly since my opponent died in the middle of it) unless people ask.

This. This is all I ever fucking see when people talk about the characters in this game. This is all I see on the stream when BP is kind enough to take the time to set it up so she can stream us playing. Incessant whining, constant fucking complaining. Seriously, it's not that bad. None of the top 3 are THAT overpowered. Yes, they need/should be toned down, but it's not the end of the world and I and no one else wants to see the people whining saying the same goddamn thing every time they have the chance. It's just poor sportsmanship at this point, people need to get over it. Especially when I look in the stream chat and see "That's a nice Lambda" when five minutes earlier they were bitching about how stupid Litchi is when it was the same player. GET OVER IT OR QUIT PLAYING.

I think you also need to keep in mind that gimmicks are generally referred to as a "mixup" or just some sort of pressure where there is no actual mixup. It's a gimmick because there are no other options or ways to mix the gimmick up, once the opponent learns the gimmick, theoretically it should never trick them again. So, if your "gimmick" has other options you can use to punish your opponent for trying to block it in the first place, it's not really a gimmick at all!

Sounds like a neat idea. If you worked out something for up here in WA I'd be down to play some.

Spaced a little ways from the corner when you land a CLSW is usually the easiest situation (and when you can do the most CLSW). But that's not important, learn to do them everywhere on the screen! After GV, on most characters you should do running j.D CLSW.

If you can't hit-confirm in to a correct combo everywhere on the screen, then no, your combos are not fine. :/ There are even 3C[m] combos listed in the archive for your ease of learning.

You need to get in to training mode then and practice your combos.

You can just special cancel 6C into Itsuu in CS IIRC. I don't use the move that much though. I know it's untechable on CH.

You can't FRC 5A.
