I'll be coming in early Friday as well, at about 1PM I believe. It might be closer to 4, there are two different departure times I could choose from... Speaking of which, still haven't heard anything regarding room availability. I'm more or less in the same boat as Querty, only I'm coming in earlier and according to my flight plan options my choices are between leaving Sunday afternoon or monday. I kind of want to participate in KOF as well, so I'm leaning towards the latter... As I said, I don't mind crashing on the floor if I have to, I just want to make sure I have a place to safely store my stuff. I suppose even that privilege is rather valuable, but I can certainly pay the price if that's necessary. If I could pay for it in December, I wouldn't mind booking a room with whoever'd be willing to share it, but unfortunately travel fares are going to take up most of my available money for this month :/

Middle Tennessee Needs Gaming! Monthly Versus Tourneys - Antioch, TN

Well damnit. I wouldn't mind discussing it in-depth (I've got my own opinions on the subject) but unfortunately I got tired trying to write a post, so I'll leave it alone... for now, I guess. -

Who are you calling a free ass scrub? Hei has never been free. -
Okay, looks like I was wrong about the JO matches... I guess the bar goes away. After actually watching the whole thing... Dayum, dat Fujiyoshi! Get hype for +R Johnny!

Sorry to double post, but it has recently come to my attention that Northeast Majors is actually a possibility for me. Having done the number crunching, I pretty much have a plan... now all I need is a room. Is anyone from PNW coming to this? I wouldn't mind crashing on a floor if need be, I just need a safe place to stash my stuff you know?

The Mikado JO match videos have a stupid bar which happens to completely obscure the tension meters, which kind of makes it difficult to keep track of that end of things... >_<

According to the commentary, it's Jonio. Kind of odd I'll admit, but I guess he wanted to try it for once.

That would be like, awesome... if DBT were still a legitimate move :/ I guess as oki the additional mixup option might make for decent setups, but honestly I'd rather have the #R trajectory. Speaking of which, I wish they'd made both transports the same so your opponent wouldn't know which one you did, but apparently Arcsys is terrified at the idea of Johnny having any decent mixups outside of the strike/throw dynamic. My apologies if I'm being overly pessimistic, I'm really tired right now. At least that's what I think it means when my eyes hurt...

I guess Heven isn't just a gimmick player after all... I didn't know he had it in him to take 1st place after being nerfed out of his signature technique. His victories (on screen, at least) were against FAB, AGF, Kazuki and Nage. That's a fairly tough regimen, and yet he pulled it off. Also Jonio still seems to need improvement, despite having leveled up a bit since his "ow, he into pot and died" days.

What? Activating Weiss summon doesn't take away his 236 summon set. You just can't chain moves from the two different sets into eachother. It makes perfect sense for that to be so, as I see no possible way to give him access to both at once without seriously screwing with his design...

This game isn't even available stateside yet, and there are already youtube comments demanding that Kliff be banned. What is this world coming to? Personally, the only thing I see as being unbalanced about Kliff is that 2H pickup. Didn't Arcsys learn their lesson from Forward EXE beast and Slidehead in AC? Leave that shit for EX characters, this isn't MAHVEL BAYBEE. I sincerely hope they patch that before this comes out on console...

I don't know if this makes any difference or not, but I'd like to point out that these people are posting far better advice than I know how to deliver... but I might as well try my hand at it anyway. I'm a shitty teacher, I know that... but if there's anything I'm certain of, it's that the most important thing I've ever learned about playing fighting games is this: A positive attitude is (while difficult to maintain at times) the singular, utterly crucial foundation upon which literally the entire experience of playing the game is built. How to cultivate and keep to this mindset is ultimately for you to decide, however... the most any of us can offer in that are suggestions that may or may not work to their intended effect. After all, none of us know (nor can we, for that matter) enough about your personal perspective to "solve" the equation completely. If you can do that, then there shouldn't be any problems. Btw, feel free to text me next time you get the chance... I have an idea I'd like to discuss.

Any YT uploads from the stream yet? (besides the one last page) I couldn't watch it on my POS comp

Will this be uploaded as standard watchable videos afterwards? The stream just does not want to work for me

As probably the only person who even knows about GG existing within the Eugene/Springfield area (let alone caring about playing it well in the slightest) I can most definitely empathize with your situation. That said, I am actually kinda interested in BB, though I don't really know very much about the game, since I don't have a PS3 or a 360 I can't exactly practice it on my own time. Does GG interest you at all, by any chance?

My prayers have been answered. Many thanks!

Would anyone happen to possess translations of the bonus audio clips featuring the game's Voice actors that was in the JP release of AC+? A few of them are on youtube, but the uploader seems to have lost interest in the project, leaving the rest untold... Anyone?
