I think the QC gov't should be stripping away the all-too-many layers of very costly socialism in the system. I mean, taxes are ~40% and nearly 50% if you earn $45k+, that's just friggin' ridiculous! The reason for high taxes come from a hobbling socialist mindset with bloated unions, too many entitlement programs (pensions, welfare, etc.), health care, "free" education, etc. I agree with free education + health care, but that's about it. Quebec needs to be more capitalist and adopt a free-er market structure to boost productivity. As it is, taxes are much too high, and there is too much waste in the system. And it's all from reforms passed in the '60's era as well when everyone wanted to be indépendant. Now the people have become old and complacent. Yo! Good thing you brought it up, I actually wanted to discuss this next I saw you (tonight?). Ok, so the deal is this. My brother and I both took the obstacle course test last year, but don't really have anyone to drive around with regularly. We have maybe two guys right now who can do it, though it's sporadic. So if you're willing to go for a ride once in a while, it would be awesome. Road test's this end of Aug for me, so best get practicing asap! Je sais quand rester loin de ce genre d'affaire.

It takes time, man. Just keep at it. It's much better to play vs. humans. The computer can help you learn how other characters work, but only matching against people can you become good. There are, imo, only three things to learn as an FG player: 1) Your character. 2) The matchup. 3) The other guy. First on is all about getting down the mechanics of your character and getting to a point where stuff is second nature to you. Practice, practice, practice. Second one is about learning how to use these tools effectively against certain characters. Sometimes it's bad to use 4c (Plat, Ragna), sometimes it's good to abuse it (Tager). But the real game starts only once you get around to playing the player. The rest is just stuff that should be muscle memory. All automatic responses that capitalize on your decisions. So what you need to do here is to find ways to get in hits. Play mind games, don't be too predictable, and run some strategies in your head. Here it's all about exploiting what they're doing wrong. If they're playing really well, then switch it up and see if you can't run some tricks by them. Just practice! It takes a good year or two before getting good, so don't give up!

Yeah, though I think it depends on starter. If 5c, then probably 2 loops are possible. Anything else, just go for one. Very much not a tested thing, though. Just speculating.

Haku should naturally be able to punish air bursts. It's just how he's designed. Best bet for ground is counters or initiating a blockstring of sorts. Not much I'm aware of you can do here.

This guy wants it. Just give it to 'im. ----- Anyway, yeah, don't count on me for matchups, lol. I have yet to purchase the game and haven't touched my Ps3 since early January. But I don't think matchups changed all that much fundamentally, so it should be easy enough to catch up on them. I'm sure there are still enormous similarities between versions, the biggest one here being that the explanation should be shorter now as we're S-Tier. If it saves me typing time, I'm all for it. I can only agree with this. Remove a couple stupid things, change a thing here and there to tighten tiers and improve some matchups. Nothing drastic, just a bit of a touch up on an otherwise perfect painting.
