  1. Haha, 5445 rue Gaspe. :P

  2. Awesome, that's all I needed to hear. Thanks.

  3. Caught a couple in the new description. Bolded the corrections/rectifications: Ihre Grammatik korrigiert worden! [/Nazi]
  4. Sure thing. I went over it pretty quick, but it seemed fine at first glance. I'll tell if I catch any.
  5. Sweet reference guide, who made it? Also,
  6. Hey salut le vieux, j'ai remarqué que t'as maintenant 17 ans. Pensé aux tournois récemment? :P

  7. Hey, what do you think about a general discussion thread in the Haku forum for misc. chatter? There's a lot going on in other threads which would probably be better suited to a more general area like that. Thoughts?

  8. Haha, it's understandable though, since it can be really useful. I used to use it more in CT, but j.D is all-purpose now. Sure, we're all good players. I think T11 just left me disillusioned. :P Overall, I believe we can at least compete with TO, yeah. I just meant that we don't have what's called a "top player". These guys are our best players, but they're not "top players" if you know what I mean. Brice is getting there and Rameo had a lot of really good stuff. And you're forgetting NType, he's pretty solid too. Closest to "top player" we have is Vice-Taicho, I think. Dude is extremely good with Litchi. But he's 16y old and says his mom wouldn't let him play in tourneys last I talked to him about it. Anyway, what I meant was, if TO comes out en masse for a tourney here and finds the competition disappointing, that's not cool. So, let's level up first. Haha, M King is good, but most anyone in top 8 over there was a contender for the spot at 2nd place (since it was composed of, y'know, us. :P). Brice was the only one above the rest. I think everyone thought he was simply better than you, but you kind of crushed him. Now they know you're no chump. :P I've met a couple Montreal players over PSN, but they never replied or didn't seem interested in playing offline. I can't always play type 4 connections, but I play more player matches than I used to and against some pretty good players, too. I got in some good exp vs. the second-best Lambda I ever saw just this friday for ex. Shikarii hasn't replied to the message I left on his wall, but he's been on recently. So... I dunno. Btw, I think we'd best continue this in VM's, we're clogging up the place.
  9. I wouldn't say he was too aggressive, just being very braindead in his pressure. If you're going for enma mixup, you either do TK Tsubaki or renka after it. Or ditch the enma, and do Kishuu -> throw instead. It's fast, effective, and a mainstay of Haku pressure. The number of times you countered him were evidence of that, but to his credit he at least went for throws later on. Whenever he went for j.2c, he was wide open for a TK Hotaru/2c. Don't be afraid of reacting to Haku.
  10. Oooh, I see what you mean by the pronunciation now. It's a romanization of the Cyrillic characters. No wonder I was messing it up, I was comparing it to German/Polish pronunciation. [/showoff ] Eh, I don't mind 6D nerf that much, I don't really use it. I doubt it'll stay that way since it prorates so much. It's useful for corner push, but if CS2 goes in the direction of corner-herding as general gameplan, then 6D loses in usefulness since other moves do the same thing, but with less risk. Oh, maybe we'll meet up then. T11 was a blast, so I'd be down for it again. Personally, I think it's wayyyy too early for us to be hosting a regional tourney. I don't think organization would be too much of a problem, but the location we use isn't technically "ours" and the play level here isn't worth Toronto's time to drive out for. I don't think we have a single "top" player, though we have a couple good ones. I dunno, maybe we could do it, but I'd like to see it done right. Certainly not against it, I just don't think we're ready. Maybe in 6m-1y, we'll see then. You got our backing, though. We're all in it together. We need a push once in a while, but that's what you're good at, eh? Lol, NAHs. Yeah, it's true. Said tourney we were expecting 15-20, ~13 came. Tourney before that was Otakuthon and I think there were about 40-45+ who turned up, but it was cut down to ~32 players. 150+ people as audience made it extra-hype.
  11. I could see a 2-star RC greatly benefit his mixup, though it would perhaps be too strong (3c -> RC -> TK Tsubaki for ex.). It's still meter-intensive, so maybe it balances out. But as it is, Haku doesn't really need RC since his pressure doesn't need it to be safe.
  12. Cool, I'll look forward to it. Btw, what language is that? Looks like some sort of Slavic dialect.
  13. 6c -> Guard Break -> [6c] preemptiveness? Otherwise, to reduce [6c] -> [6c] -> 6c damage, is likely. Not that it'd do much since getting hit by [6c] alone implies a 5k minimum combo, meterless. Less normal proration, on the other hand, is very interesting. CS combo length operates based on the amount of proration, so perhaps something other than 5/2a will hit after a 6C CH? @zdravkelja: This has been bugging me ever since I first saw it. How do you pronounce your username? "Drakelya"? "Dravkoyè"? "Hrafklyè"? I AM BURNING TO KNOW!!
  14. Really, that's it? I thought zoners like Axl and Testmanet were a pretty bad matchup for him. Well, you know HOS and I don't, so I guess it's all he does need.
  15. My thoughts exactly. I like the changes' direction, but I'm not too sure about their implementation.
  16. Weak defense? My Haku? -_- *switches mains* Enma combos are back, though. I read that change somewhere. Also, I think the new air unblockables doesn't change him much beyond preventing jump-ins, but the primer nerf is a buff. If you guard break with 6c, then do [6c] -> combo, that's a ton of damage right there. 6b still sucks, don't care about more damage unless it hits for like 1k.
  17. J.2a the moment you jump forward, assuming he does it on reaction. J.2a is your all-purpose air cutter anyway. Air wheel thingy I'm not sure can be cut, I just block or D it usually.
  18. Imo, this match got a lot easier than it was in CT. Nu could shut you down and do whatever, but now you can void swords and move around more freely than before. Plus, 4c ch makes it easy to get close and mixup. Parsers are also vulnerable, so not much of a threat. Know what you can cut, check out the Lamb's habits, and you have this made. Being in the air shouldn't be a problem since it's also free sword IB if the Lamb is sword-happy. Lamb can no longer run away like in CT, so use that to your advantage. Imo, anything less than a really good Lamb should not be a threat. Haku has the advantage as long as you play patiently.
  19. On the subject of new balance and changes, I'd be curious to know what ya'll think HOS needs since I main him and all, but am not that good at the game. Personally, I've no idea what he does need. His range isn't that good, but it's not like he can't get around that. Maybe more ways to get charge, and a move that helps him get in on range characters are my guesses.
  20. ^ What he says. I'll just add that you do not want his overheads to hit, so get ready to react. Learn to block/react D his stuff to keep him honest in his offense. Personally, I stay more on the ground because of his strong AA game. If I go to the air, it's to bait something or intercept his air approach. 4c is also not that good here outside of max range because of dash 5b, but he has to respect your hop hotaru and footsies at the same time. Pretty frustrating match, but not as much of a headache as in CT. If your defense is strong, his game weakens. Work on that.
  21. New Valk vids have surfaced: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9u2NbO7DXg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8LkSbTuJy3o
  22. Finally got around to upping to YT. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9u2NbO7DXg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8LkSbTuJy3o
  23. Hot damn is that guy good! I'll be studying! It's either Tenchi or 0, I know they both use that color. It strikes me more as Tenchi, though since I don't think 0 ever got *that* good with Haku. It's also not the "regular" A-Cho Haku who plays much more defensively and uses the default color, but who also has a beast Haku whenever he gets going.
  24. It being hailed as Guilty Gear's successor since SEGA's underhanded license grab prevented a new GG. Plus, it looked cool and more accessible, with online to boot.
  25. Saw your post in the controller/stick thread. Have you tried Air's (and maybe Steb's? I think he has one) stick? I think it handles pretty well, maybe you could ask him about it. Being broke sucks, no good jobs around? :(
