Maybe my opponent was just dumb, but it seems like her 5C->6C blockstring isn't solid anymore. Unless it was never solid to begin with. In any case, it seems like I couldn't just sledge through the 6C in CS1 without instant blocking, but now I can in CS2.

Yeah, I'm starting to realize how much I really did use jD and 5D, and how they're totally not working AT ALL the way they used to. I'm starting to think I won't be using either of the much at all. SO MUCH FOR IT NOT PULLING ATTACKS RIGHT INTO OUR FACES. Regarding 5A canceling: eh, I kinda need to quit spamming 5A and learn to 5A 5B instead. Seems more useful, especially since 5B is air unblockable now.

Yeah, signs seem to point towards using 6A as a weird kind of anti-air more than anything else. But yeah, I'm still getting used to not being able to jump cancel it. Though maybe I can do some gimmicky bullshit with it and cancel it into 720 for a tick throw now.

You still kinda wanna keep them in the corner though... I miss 2C 4D just for the magnetism though. And the tick hits you could get if you delayed it just a little.

So uh... anybody else having a hilarious time with the new sledge followup? I think it's my favorite change so far. I'm on PSN, so I am only now getting to taste the fruits of arksys' most recent labours.

Yo dudes. I've recently heard that the writers/developers of BB actually said that Tao (and all the Kakas) are wearing masks. TVTropes seems to support this but gives no actual citation. Is this for real or is it just a fan theory? Obviously this has no bearing on gameplay, but I was just curious. I'm kind of a semi-secret Tao fan even if I don't actually play as her (though I might in CS2).

Yeah, he looks like a big stupid overdressed monkey. I kinda like his older "just standing there" picture better. But hey, its the CS image, and this is a CS guide, so... I'd ask how he bends over that far, but I have a lot of questions regarding how he does certain things (like how he fully bends his arm with a huge gauntlet in the way), so it's probably best not to go there.

Saw this in the Tager forums but I figured I'd ask here. Has 2C's range been nerfed? It seems like after Tager does gadget here, he doesn't really have to worry about getting hit by cat chair. I didn't realize 5C->6A is a legit combo in CS2. 6A is like some weird combination of Potemkin's 2S and Hammer Fall now (except it pulls instead of moving forward). Now if only we could cancel it whenever we wanted. Imagine if we had a "6A break." But anyway, I'm actually learning a lot from all this. It's actually making me more excited for CS2, even if Tager is ultimately still balls. Keep up the good work guys!

Okay, I came a little at 6:06 in the latest litchi fight (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAF15AWmdBI). It's nice to see that if she holds her autoguard move to guard sledge, the hammer can beat the follow-up attack. Could it do that in CS?

Wow. Blowing 100 meter towards the end of a combo is worth it. I haven't seen damage output like that for Tager... well, in quite a while. It does feel like in general, a lot of Tager's attack hitboxes have gotten an increase in vertical size. Especially AC and Gadget.

Yeah, reverting to obvious scrub bullshit at high tiers is always hilarious. It's like some pro Ragna who just suddenly runs up and does a random DP or two.

For dealing with people jumping around far away I was thinking something along the lines of a Heavenly Tager Buster would be nice. Sitting on full spark meter and 50 heat would terrify the shit out of any opponent at that point... especially if we threw in projectile invuln on spark bolt's startup. In general, I've always said we've needed some kind of anit-air super. More reliable regular anti-airs would be nice too of course, but it'd be fun to ruin some jumpy bastard's day from a good ways across the screen with a well-placed super. The diagonal spark bolt is a neat idea though. Overall though I have to agree with the sentiment that Tager needs to be absolutely awesomeshit up close, and he isn't. Can we have his CT damage back please? (relatively at least)

Well yeah, greater general mobility overall would be a plus, as everyone has said. Projectile invuln spark bolt... now that is a really neat idea. That would REALLY make projectile characters get wary once that meter fills, as opposed to just giving them a greater reason to spam so they can catch you in the startup frames and make you waste your meter. I somehow doubt that'll ever happen though.

How about they make his move that's supposed to be good for dealing with projectiles ACTUALLY USEFUL FOR DEALING WITH PROJECTILE SPAMMING CHARACTERS.
