Mike, in that first match against Donovan I kinda facepalmed with the Sledge B->Sledge A Whiff->720 setup in the second round. I thought everyone was used to that gimmick since CT, haha. I'm surprised to see people still eat that at tournament level. I'd instant block more if I wasn't playing online all the time. I try, but tend to either get a regular block or no block. I don't take online matches terribly seriously though so it's fun to just mess around, like IBing a hazama chain and then 2Cing him when he pulls himself in. Fun times... Man, I need to get a video capture device and start uploading some videos. Also, here's a question for Mike (or anyone else who burst baits a lot): what's your logic for when you decide to try to burst bait? Just when their health is relatively low? During certain points in certain combos? From my standpoint it always just kinda looks like psychic magic. I'd like to be able to do it but I can't really seem to call it very well. I get somebody in a burst with a MTW sometimes, but only rarely.

I'm watching the natearistata videos. It's like watching a standup comedian who plays fighting games. Like, if Dane Cook played video games or something. Sorry if anyone hates Dane Cook. Regardless, keep up the entertainment value man, haha.

Meh, I dunno. He seems to try to yomi AC too much, and doesn't really use meter a whole lot. His combos are rock solid though, and he had some nice little traps.

That would be... artistically sound. I've been wondering myself lately if the music would see some kind of change or advancement, like the soundtracks of GGX and onward always did over time. And then there's GG->GGX where the soundtrack changed COMPLETELY, though I get the feeling they wouldn't be that drastic. Still, yes, I could see some updated themes.

In part 5, around 6:09/6:10 Atomic Collider -> Gadget pull -> spinny (with full meter but doesn't do second half -> gadget buffer 720 which pulls in Ragna as he tries to roll away I... I nearly cried. This is the most magnificent thing I've ever seen. Bravo, Akira. Bravo.

With the camera shaking around, it's just like watching a modern action movie! Good match though. I didn't see it happen, but I assume Lamda's DP has enough recovery if you block it to where you can punish it, right? If not, that could get annoying.

I, uh, still would have liked to have seen it tried. I... what? Round 1 Also, Nekonin just seems indecisive or something. Like he does a 2D and then... just stands there.

I guess what can be said here is that somebody can win and still be unimpressive... @SolBadass: maybe I'm just misunderstanding the new 2C - I'm pretty sure it has invincibility vs air but I'm not really sure on the actual frame data - but it seemed like there were some times where Hakumen was jumping around right over Tager and attacking in such a way that 2C would have countered.

I was more concerned with the supreme lack of 2Cs. And the random pointless 720s, and the throws that Shadow was obviously going to jump out of LIKE HE KEPT DOING OVER AND OVER. I mean, Nekonin won, but he could have mixed it up a lot more by doing some things to counter the jump-outs once in a while.

Man, the new 2C really changes a lot. Tagers jump all over the place on each other in CT. Thankfully I never really got hugely into that habit anyway. I imagine I'll have an itchy 2C finger myself. Shit, I already do in CT.

Man Mike, I know you won against Bang, but that second random 720 in the beginning was kinda disappoint. This was made up for by the epic DP bait charge -> 720 against Ragna, though. Though then you lost that fight... I guess it shows to go you that 720 doesn't determine everything.

Oh my god. You have no idea how satisfying it is to watch Tager jump around and cross up Bang. I can't wait for this on consoles.
