  3. To what extent can the drive be used in combos? Is it purely a zoning tool or are there instances where it can be used to continue an otherwise unfollowable move?
  4. Yeah, we played a few matches the other day on PSN I think. I normally play on Xbox live since that's the controller I learned the game on.

  5. I haven't played Garou in forever but last I checked I was still decently ranked on the leadboards. Grant is just a beast. Good times, good times. Sliver of T.O.P. bar at the very start, rape commences.
  6. Half of the characters in this game seem unable to escape pressure of any kind without meter. Just sayin'. Maybe i'm doin it wrong
  7. This game's online menus make my eyes bleed. I mean shit. Garou came out what, last year and they're still unable to provide us with basic lobby support? I mean shit at least give me a background instead of some black screen of death with text over it.
  8. I think the design would be stronger if the emblem was something less generic, but it's not something necessary to make me want that shirt.
  9. Eh, I've had a better overall online experience period on 360. Every match is more stable, player matches are much easier to get into, much more people (That I can connect to) seem to be playing at all times etc. Multi-Person voice chat is great too for just talking with friends.

  10. A good idea against Tager is to just keep your blockstrings short, and don't get greedy. Knowing when to back off or reset your pressure is something that is crucial. Try not to get into a position where you throw out 5C and then are forced to commit to something. How does Ragna fair in the air in this matchup? Obviously buffed AT means that jump-ins are no longer free, but is AT really something we have to watch out for now? And of course, does Ragna have anything new/changed that allows him easier methods of beating Tager's backdash?

  12. When I can, yeah. It's more enjoyable for me to play people I know, so I've been trying to get people from D-Loop to play MB AC with me rather than frequenting Melty Bread rooms.

  19. First and foremost, you need to work on doing more with what hits you get. Very often, you'd connect with a 5B or 5C and then just leave it at that when you could have gotten much more damage off of them. Try to find out what hits in what situations can lead to what combos. Also, refrain from using Hell's Fang like a command dash, and also try not to finish Hell's Fang (Don't do the followup basically) if you whiff/get blocked. You have heat, use it! Rapid cancels are a must, either to prevent punishes or to extend combos for huge damage. Learn some rapid cancel combos ASAP, they're a huge staple in almost any characters game. Blood Kain can either be your saving grace or biggest mistake in the world. Use it to scare people. Finally, Carnage Scissors is pretty mediocre as a super but it can prevent bursting near the end of a match. 22C is one of Ragna's best moves. Abuse it to no end. It scares people, it hurts people, and it sets up for a lot of punishment. Incorporating 3C and 22C into your game is a great way to improve. Something I saw you doing a lot was using 2D. Yes, it hits low but it is exceedingly unsafe even without IB in the picture. 2B and 3C are much better for Ragna's low fix if you're close enough to use them. 3C in particular sets up for 22C on hit and can be jump canceled on block. Finally, use 2C and 5B to fish for most of your hits. 5B is just a great, mostly safe poke all around unless it gets IB'd and 2C has counter hit stun comparable to Hell's Fang (But it's much safer). 5C is only worth doing if you're very confident it will connect, on IB it's extremely punishable.

  22. Well, doesn't Tao have 9K HP now? That might contribute to that.
