  1. Lol I was joking with my roommates on how when The light and I were playing, we were having nice clean Carl vs Carl matches, ie. no throw loops. Then you come along and contaminate our room with the throw loops. You were then the enemy from there on out. Lol j/k. GG's to The Light, Kyle, and Cpt Braver. Cpt Braver it was good to fight you since I wasn't able to play you on my bebe0330 account.
  2. Alright. We'll try to shoot for 9. I may be late I don't know. If anybody else wants to join in, just message me on live.
  3. Hey whats the news on Carl's dash and vivace's? In the earlier loketests they were slower. Are his dash and vivace's the same as CT?
  4. The Light, you down to try to play some games tuesday night?
  5. Good to hear your input man. Please keep us posted on what strategies start to develop if you can. Nice to know volante is still practical off screen.
  6. Sorry guys but school has been keeping me very busy as of late. I'm not sure if I'll have a 360 available over thanksgiving break. But I think i'll be able to play some games with the mid level people this coming tuesday night. No guarantee's but if you guys haven't met up yet wanna shoot for then at around say... 9:00 pm?
  7. Time. I'm guilty of that as well.
  8. From what i understand and going by the video, its pretty quick. I want to see people experiment with what they can do with multiple volante's on the screen. Anybody notice the weird change they did to it? It comes out an moves really slow and then gradually speeds up. To be honest the amount of ground space you could control with that sounds promising if you can get multiple ones out.
  9. Darnit. I missed all these posts. I just got back from playing some BB. Now I gotta do school work. sorry guys, I missed ya.
  10. Autonomous just uploaded a crap ton of vids. Thanks Autonomous!!!
  11. It doesn't matter how you start the combo, just as long as you're able to do it. If 6D for some reason hits first, then go into the loop. The loop usually lasts anywhere between 12-16 hits. The opponent is gradually put in less hit stun the more hits they take. This is the game's safe guard for preventing infinites. So eventually the loop will fail and you'll have to start over again. That's why its important to go for a reset by doing high low mixups. You'll drop the combo after several hits, hit them high or low hoping that'll they'll block the wrong way and then do the combo over again. There are several variations of the ground loop. The ones that I'm about to post goes from weakest to strongest damage: 2a - 5a - 5b -6b - 6D repeat 2a - 5a - 5b -5c - 6D- 66/236A ( dash or do Carl's vivace) repeat jC - 5b- 5c- 6D repeat (timing and spacing is strict but this is very practical) j.2C allecan - 5b - 5c - 6D repeat ( I would recommend only doing this on crouching opponents)
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_LLFQbfJ2o Kyle lol at 2:03-2:07
  13. That works?
  14. Seems like you're developing a good carl. Keep on working on you execution when trying to go for that throw loop. I think I need to see more videos.
  15. I vote myself for high or mid level. Kyle should probably be high just for that fact that this was his idea. Oh yeah and he's good too. Kyle I see you play dat Tekken.
  16. Nirvana increasingly uses more more energy for each move she doesn while turned on. Allowing nirvana to turn off will reset how much energy she uses. Against a Tager Nirvana has to have around half of her meter to KO a Tager with out turning her off. Sometimes Nirvana will have taken a serious beating from Tager before you manage to get Tager in a loop. By this point Nirvana may not have enough meter to KO Tager. By allow her to turn off there's still hope. So yeah turn off Nirvana when you can. You're saving the environment and what not.
  17. I was exhausted yesterday from doing Habitat for Humanity stuff for 7 hours. I'm sore now. But yeah I probably won't be on for a couple of days due to school work.

  18. I played DesuEX twice of which I beat him both times. When we came across paths a third time he wouldn't play me. He may have done it due to our connection, which I felt was pretty good to be honest.

  19. I fought DesuEx, and Doushi, for one thing. Doushi last I remember would normally rape me. But I for some reason did better against him all of a sudden. I understand good Nu's are hard to find but these two use to give me a hard time. I fought other not so good Nu's but still. I think I learned somethings, so perhaps I'll be ready for our next session whenever that is. Who does Shadowredzero play?

  20. So yeah after our player matches I went to Ranked match on a Nu killing spree. No one has the mixup that you do.

  21. I think the main reason, although this is not the only reason, is the fact that Arakune relies on his air game more than Jin. And what move wrecks Arakunes's air-game more than nirvana's 623D? Also Jin just has all around better pressure than Arakune when it comes to fighting Carl (assuming you're not cursed and in the corner). When Jin gets on top of you, its hard to get him off. MY GOSH ITS FRUSTRATING!!!
  22. I have to say Dio is definitely my fav Carl. He's not the best no but he's so inspiring to watch. He's so creative. I can tell that he tries to avoid doing the throw loop (besides the fact that he drops too many of them anyways) but as a result his mixup game is bananas. His fights against Kaqn (both Hackman and Ragnor) were just inspiring.
  23. No. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Got school work and what not.
  24. That would make for a really hot mixup during a sandwich string. After carl does his block string the opponent either has to deal with Nirvana's throw, or jump and get hit by 8D.
