  1. I didn't realized how good 5S - 6HS was with sword against baiken and some of her counters. I'm gonna keep that in mind.
  2. Watched all of you videos Light. Your Carl is great. Broke my heart to see you lose. ;_; You already mentioned the dropped combos so I'll move on: -Kyle basically touched up on how basically you weren't using all of Carl's resources (ie. 6A) -When tager is spamming punch over Nirvana, its easy for us Carl players to get frustrate and get really eager to punish Tager for doing that. That way we can teach the tager that its not a good idea to do that. Unfortunately for me what happens a lot is, they're just outside of 5C range. If you dash up, then you'll get hit by his 5A but if you walk forward, the tager tends to stop punching because he knows you're up to something. I'll sometimes try to airdash at him but the vertical attack box on his 5A is amazing. So if you wanna go after Tager I'd suggest super jump and in airdash for the hit. Took me a while to think about that. If you're not magnetized he can't do his Atomic Collider on you. Of course if you have the life lead, I would just back away and let him spam 5A all day. He'll realize you aren't gonna come near him and then he'll come after you. Just stay outside of his long range attacks. Once he passes Nirvana he's where you want him to be, right between you two. But yeah for the most part, it was the few unlucky grabs, surpise supers, and dropped combo's that cost you. Oh yeah, i noticed you do 3C, j.2C, 2C into the clap loop. I personally do 2B, 2C when the combo is under 8 hits. I find it easier and less prone to failure (although failure still does occur sometimes). You don't have to worry about the added difficulty of allecan.

  4. No prob man. Thanks for the advice. I do use 236B alot, it saves me a lot but I do screw myself over with it sometimes as well. I try to anticipate when you're gonna attack but you don't. Then when I 236B you see it and punish accordingly -_- As for you using Airdash j2c kara cancels pretty well. But a little too often. A lot of times you would get me, but other times I as able to successfully bait them. I wouldn't do it so much when I'm right near Nirvana. Sometimes you would get me, but other times I was able to hit you first and you were then conveniently between and Nirvana. Hope to play you soon.

  10. Braver, didn't you and I try to play each other during the summer but never could connect? Well now that I'm in another location maybe we can try to play again. Just look out for NOVALANCHE.
  11. IBing and backdashing out is definitely a good strat. I quite often have to wait for the block string to end. Sometimes I'm able to jump block just to avoid her mixup game. Also 6A will take out the annoying overhead she does when she jumps in the air in an arc back down on you. Unfortunately you can't 6A it on reaction. More like anticipation.

  13. In the end it depends on your local comp. I for instance have a very strong fighting community in my state. Its just that most everybody here dislikes BB or were simply disappointed in it while wishing it was a better game.

  16. Kyle just to let you know, the triggers are very tricky and you have to treat them differently from the other buttons. You'll need diodes and 10k resistors from Radio Shack to get them to work properly.

  18. To add to the negative thinking. I don't think Nirvana-douken spam is viable considering how she has less health. Gosh we all need stop. Maybe this coming weekend, everyone gets buffs.
  19. To make Alle~can have a higher y-axis would probably mean having allegretto have slower startup. I'm annoyed by the startup of our current allegretto. I think its best if we just stick with RCing our j2C's if we're too high like DIO.
  20. Remember j.2c is no longer an overhead. Guess we're gonna have to stick with 6C for now.
  21. You can message people but its horribly inefficient for detail conversation.
