I'm thinking of placing a small 2 vs 2 and points match section for it, but I'm not sure exactly what I would write in it yet. will get on that eventually. people send me emails asking if they can host my guide at their site. like hell I'm going to let them do that! I'm not saying personally, because I don't know you personally. I meant it as in if I ask you to do something, I don't think you will follow through. it just means I'd rather do things myself than rely on someone else. it's not like I'm gonna turn you down for a match or whatever. I actually did not hesitate posting that because I assumed you stopped coming here. I did not say that to offend you.

been watching Kimera's new videos, and I've seen him using the Gigant A LOT for defense, and he doesn't give it any upgrades besides the mobile one. and for the most part, it does its job rather well. most players never use that thing. and if they do, they have no Idea what to use it for. go Gigant. Kimera's style of playing Sol is very peculiar. effective, but peculiar. I wonder why he plays Sol so much now instead of Valentine. Valentine is probably the superior character of the two. maybe because its fun beating stuff up I guess. the way he handles his units and mana is so unique. he released the Gigant on first round in one match, he decided to lose some ground to help his failing partner, so his priority was on defense. I question that decision, but at least his partner didn't lose EVERY ghost because of it. I should probably be more of a team player, kimera has no qualms helping his buddy, even if it means losing ground for himself. as for the results of that match, I didn't see the end of it. yet. will do. so yeah, I'm hoping to get my thread up by the end of this week. the new combo video inputs may be delayed but whatever. just want to toss out there that the videos I put in the thread aren't random, I watch for quality.

I doubt he'd actually do it for me if I asked him. I don't trust him, so I won't bother him about it. and yes, I know my method of taking screen shots is backwards. cut me some slack, its better than nothing....

ok, so you guys want to find out my SUPER AWESOME way of taking screen shots? well? huh? DO YA? ok....listen up. first, go to a video web site. than, find a GG2 game play video someone up loaded, and doesn't have garbage quality. center the screen, stop the video where you want to take a screen shot, and press (ctrl + print screen) thats hold the ctrl key and press the "print screen" key. you computer will save a screen shot. than go to ms paint or whatever, paste the screen shot, high light the video section, cut, open a new one, don't save, and than paste on the new sheet. and the results..

UH -OH!! I think I just found a method of taking SCREEN SHOTS! WOOT! that means I can write guides for each map!....potentially. will test this Idea out. quality of screen shots not guaranteed. what format and how I will make these guide all depends on...stuff. we'll see.

good news for those of you who care about the GG2 video thread. if all you guys want are some cool videos to watch, you in luck! I gathered plenty of new videos. some of the old ones will be missing still, but some of those I can't do anything about. (kimera's old videos have terrible quality now, I can't do anything about that, and they are no longer worth watching. it's a terrible shame, but we will have to do without them.) expect it to come back around a week or two the latest. combo video will be limited to the nocturnal rites combo video, and I'll try to put up Sin's commands again (since I lost them) and as a bonus, Izuna's commands (I'll try anyway). if anyone's got a video they want me to make inputs for, I'll try to add it. I actually have problem watching videos on my personal computer, that's why I have been taking a while to make this list again. patience please. Edit: fortunately, Kimera has added a few videos recently, and he finally picks up valentine again. good for you guys who are sick of seeing Sol all the time (I never get sick of seeing him though)

I'd love to get my hands on clean organ images for every map (for 1 on1 and 2 on 2). I'd like to make strategy guide for them, if possible. so if anyone can make screen shots of those images, I'd be really grateful. GAME STUFF. did you know that units have item slots? heaven's libra cannot cast his staff if you place a mouth zipper on him. this works for many units, including twin triggers (who most likely lose their big shot) so if you are dealing with somehting like a convict hammer, and you don't want the bastard dispelling your stuff, silence him with a mouth zipper (or with Engulfer's "shut up" special move) the onlyu issue here is that most elites use there special abilities right away when they see you. so in the case of heaven's libra, you have to dispel the rod first (or wait till it's nearly faded), than place the mouth zipper on him shortly after to get the most out of it. this stuff needs a lot more testing, but it's an effective way to disarm many elites I'd imagine, meuille fuelle (valentine mobile elite) included most likely. wonder if it will have any effect on the likes of a dragon?

I can't provide any screen shots. in fact, I would like some screen shots, but not of the stage, just an empty organ page. aedeyser, I'm just spilling some hate. it's impossible for me to not be jealous of the the fact that BL has people who actually aren't Japanese playing it. see? even I can admit it when I'm being a bitch. ALSO! I'm made my guide in FAQ format. Yes, that's right, I'm submitting it to gamefaqs. I have a question regarding the copyright. if I release my guide, I automatically have copyright over it? or do I have to go somewhere and...apply for it or something? just wondering.

there are tons of differences. and actually, GG2 has a few players every night, they just lag, and are better than me. I really like how BL is much easier than GG2 (and doesn't have a primary player base composed of nothing but japanese), but thats also it's flaw as well. catching fan geysers is like a game of hungry hippos, it give you no tactical advantage, as crabbas put it. the fact that making no units in the beginning of the match is a legit strategy shows how silly that game can be. try to pull something like a teir rush in GG2 and you lose before you even begin match. no free ghosts for you here. BL is a fun alternative, but it can't replace GG2, its simply not good enough, even with no one playing this damn game.

But..But..I like the name. FUCK THEM FANBOYS. and yeah, c'mon aedyser, I've been screaming paradigm sucks at fighting every time we mention him. guy couldn't get worse at it. been really enjoying brutal legends recently. it's like GG2 lite. but stay away if love masters only...or hate mindless games of MAKE BIG ARMY! SMASH! SMASH!

the game never really addresses the design change in Sol's sword. there are hints that it is the fireseal, such as its design when he goes level 50 dragon install. this game is dead. ugh.

meh, I may be a little on the stiff side. OMFG Kimera's videos on Nico video STILL have messed up quality. how the hell can I make a video topic thread without his videos? they were so good! strange that they went to the shit right after my thread went under. I'm at a loss of what to do about it.

go to the guilty room's GG2 topic. that's where all the current gameplay discussion takes place. you can set up some potential matches there. also, there are basic game play guides in the guilty room (on a separate thread). I'm working on bringing back the GG2 video thread back in action, which was wiped when the site had troubles, but it will take a while. I can't believe you went so deep into this board and pulled out this thread from the abyss just to say this. this game became old news once blazblue came out. such a shame.

no, not always. when you want to prove just how good you are, you don't have a partner to lean on if you fuck up. teams is more fun than singles, but due to it's format, it loses something that singles has: the feeling of simply owning someone all by yourself. singles is a better testament of an individual's skill, and I wouldn't trade that away. EDIT: OH YEAH! did you know that the dual horn unit can heal allies? I had NO IDEA. I've got to test this out! I wanna compare the healing abilities of the dual horn and the the block head. when block head heals, it loses health, but the dual horn doesn't. from what I've seen, the block head heals a good amount, and if it heals Sol, the amount it loses is seemingly disproportionate to the amount it restores for the ally. but testing for th exact numbers will be kind of hard. also, I tested out the damage the Gigan't upgrades do to masters, and my analysis was correct. Axe is good for defense, while spear is good for offense. when the axe hits an enemy master, it does 240 damage. when the spear hits a master...from what I saw (remember the the spear hits servants multiple times) it did about 420 damage to the master I was using (I can't remember the total amount, and the spear hit only once, knocking down the master right away. lets say that it does over 400 damage for now.) and note that the hitbox for the gigant's spear charge is NOT limited to the spear itself, but to whatever the Gingant's front side hits. this is intriguing. I need to test out more things about the Gigan't armor upgrade, it's more reliable than the ranged upgrade and does an obscene amount of damage. expect more test results for the Gigant in the future.

it's funny, your actually the first person I constantly have matches with and can actually talk shit with, even considering I play only one day a week (maybe two if I'm lucky and I'm up for it). maybe I'll have one more if crabbas gets the game. and don't tell cantido this but the game actually does not suffer from cheap ass tactics, imbalance and ragequitters. anyway, you really should get more into 2 vs 2, it's TONS of fun. 1 vs 1 is really strict and competitive, and it's great for improving your skills, but 2 on 2 is SO much more....I don't know. it's fucking fun. that's why I wanted to practice some 2 on 2 with you. practice with the computer in exhibition mode, just so you understand the flow of the battles. when you get used to it, it's really fun. both 1 vs 1 and 2 vs 2 have they're good points. neither should replace the other. for bullshit purposes, you have points match (four player free for all). that's more about maintaining your territory and other silly stuff. if you play with good players, you can have tons of fun, and removes the competitive tension. just beat the shit out of the closest person.

this game is hard. very hard. you counter Sol's VV by predicting it and dodging, or blocking it. pressing foward and the select is a respect. pressing select is a taunt. your opponent can hear the taunt and respect regardless of where they are on the map. paradigm has some pretty funny taunts. Paradigm: that's not a very smart move you know, -YOU- being in charge. this game requires practice, and it's hard to practice due to the lack of competition that's around your own level. got nothing but the jp, and there aren't even a lot of them around.

I'm pretty sure I kicked your paradigm's and Izuna's ass before you went to that party. pretty silly that your paradigm fell to a lone engulfer. your Izuna simply sucks at fighting. but no worries, always remember that when I'm not playing against you, I'm losing. I don't even pick paradigm anymore, since I'm so focused on getting better with Sol. next time we train on 2 vs 2 map, I'll put the computer on level 3 instead of 5. that way, we can actually focus on map strategy. let's hope our games don't fucking freeze. Ayumu, you missed nothing, but a few good matches against the jp. I would write guides for these maps, but I need to see the maps in front of me. if anyone would be kind enough to provide me screen shots of every map's organ, I would type up some basic map strategies. I need the numbers of the ghosts, and I'll be able to work from there. I can't write guides on the maps due to the location I play the game. not very well suited to sitting down and writing a guide.

that night was full of fail and disappointment. and lots and lots of losing to the jp. at least I got to beat on aedeysr though! woot!
