I'm not a fan of little girl characters, which is why I dislike valentine so much. Slayer and Axl get my vote. I like them the most. potemkin because he's potemkin. I LOVE SOL AND PARADIGM. I honestly wouldn't care if they never put the fighting game characters in GG2 series though. I love the original cast it came up with.

oh, not important by any means, but kou2007 finally sent me a message the other day. told me about how you can drop servants without stopping using the capture drop, which is canceled with a drift. he said he would teach me more stuff sometimes, which is pretty nice of him (I already knew about the capture drop though, I just didn't know what it was called, and I don't use it often because I suck) I wish he didn't leave his xbox on 24/7 though, so I can see when he's actually on. how does his xbox not explode?

blah, terrible games today, I got too comfy, thinking my elites would save me. I sometimes like to not use armors at all becuase players often counter my armors with mobile, invalidating my 420 mana. his elbow is his best poke, many of the better Ky players use it heavily to hit confirm into a combo. his standard vertical slash is slow, and leaves him very vulnerable if dodged. oh yeah, and I was kinda being facetious there. but the elbow really is a good poke, don't ignore it. and don't get careless with you vapor thrust, jp players automatic vapor thrust all the time, and they start getting predictable with it. I mean, it's ALL they do.

GG2 video thread has been reorganized! next step, I will post all the URL's for each video for a match. since many matches are recorded through out multiple videos that are linked at the comment section of the video, people who use the NicoVideo re-director don't get to see the link that leads to the rest of the matches. by posting each url for every part of a match, I will effectively allow those who use the re-director (link posted at the top of the GG2 thread) to watch all matches in their entirety. I play on two of my frined's account, one who no longer plays, and one who has recently just started playing not too long ago. oI boundary Io - who I regularly play on the weekends, and when I'm on this name, I stay on ALL DAY, usually anyway. he himself no longer plays the game, but he was a really good player back when he did. Crabbas - he recently got the game and plays with aedyesr from time to time. play on this account when I have the chance. I mostly only play on the weekends. EDIT(2): OK, I've got to admit, in a big servant tussle, things like blockhead and pencil guys aren't exactly useless. they aren't really necessary in 2 vs 2 (you only have 16 units to spare), and should be unlocked later than all of the other units in the tribe (primary units > support units), but they can really make a difference if you follow those guidelines. Sol army is less "laugh out loud" bad with them helping out. I saw this in the final round of this match. no, blockhead can actually be useful if carried around as a body guard. it's a portable healing potion that hurts armors as a bonus. spirit seeker has no purposes as a bodyguard other than to get hit.

yeah, Izuna pretty much has no weaknesses, he's all around. only scrooges don't share combos. the jp have a wealth of information at their fingertips when compared to what the U.S. crew have. they have more competition and more experience. I wouldn't advise ignoring whatever helpful information you can get on this game. though I'm finding myself in a position where the only way I can improve at this point is to simply practice now. hmm. does anyone else think that Paradigm's elite units are not all that, with the exception of maybe bone biter? dual horn and Leonard are solid, but aren't amazing (Leonard has nothing on firewheel) and spirit seeker.....I did some tests, and he only attacks GHOSTS that don't belong to you with his cannon. the cannon has splash effects, so it hits those around, but it won't fire support rounds if enemies are attacking ghost that already belongs to you (he also occasionally misses, whats up with that?). he also releases minions one at a time. very situational unit indeed.

EDIT: hmm, looking a at my GG2 thread, I'm wondering if I should do something to organize the videos? they are starting to pile up, so I'll probably separate the 1 vs 1, 2vs 2, and points matches. the only problem is there is only one points match up, and few 1 vs 1 matches. there is a lack of both types on nico video, and the fact that not all the matches posted on the site are worth watching makes videos even less abundant.

there are tutorials for GG X2 AC that do exactly what you are saying. I know what Izuna is capable of, it's simply putting it all in motion in real fighting. if you don't want to make a video, than don't bother with the Idea, I'll just practice with him.

make a little guide for Izuna, and don't bother for anyone else. if you do that, I'll be happy, as he is the only character I can't use effectively at master fighting (I don't know why, I just can't). servants don't matter to me, I know enough about each one. I'd rather have a really well done guide on Izuna than a bunch of meh guides on multiple characters. Edit: there are some Izuna gameplay in my GG2 video thread, but there isn't a player who mains the character and excels with him. I'm having trouble finding definitive game play tricks with him from nicovideo. I could ask boundary for tips, but I've been spending th majority of my time practicing with Sol, and it's been paying off. I could get by if I just sat down and focused on improving with him, but even then, if you could make a video just on him, it could help me a lot personally.

oh, that changes EVERYTHING. sorry for making that silly mistake. maybe some time we can discuss in-depth the differences between what "example" and "guide" videos warrant in their content. not that I'm getting on your case, but I find it Ironic that in "example" video, you didn't provide an example of a good 8x loop. but your your videos, your content, do as you please. it' s a good video regardless, and I learned from it. if there's any Issue with your Sol video, it's that you basically have a bunch of variations of the same combo, which isn't too bad, but there's at least 3 combos in Sol's advanced combo video that aren't worth doing at all. Edit: I fought kou2007 very recently, and I didn't get absolutely destroyed for once. I am happy, victory is within my reach.

isn't the point of these videos to showcase combos? half of the shit he put for Sol was DEAD OBVIOUS. didn't make the video any worse. bad guide mentality there. it's like Sol's guard break overdrive combo. it's so obvious that no one EVER mentioned it and ever did it, so I never knew about it for the entire time I owned the game, up until a few days ago. REALLY bad guide mentality.

you never once preformed an 8x loop....that's ALL I ever see valentine players do on nico video in real matches. the last two combos were nice though. EDIT: I link the nico video re-director thingy in my GG2 video thread, at the bottom of the combo post. (should I move it to the top of the topic?) its for those who do not know how to make a Nico Video account, so they can watch some of the videos I post over there anyway. there are flaws with the thing though, as you cannot see the video discription for the videos, thus links to multi video matches are lost in that way. if there's people who would like me to post the URL address so they can watch all parts of matches, let me know, otherwise, I'm too lazy for such a thing.
