  1. That tier list was bad when it was new, and is now very outdated. Makoto is above all the characters I play. Anayways, we should stop spamming this thread.

  4. Could be, but when i saw CS1, I saw that it looked less broken, not more legit. When I see CS2, I see shades of Guilty Gear and SF.
  5. ACtually alot of characters actually have pressure now. In CS1 the only character that I thought had real pressure was Bang. Also, i respect bluntness, so no worries. Anything else you'd like to say about the game Luna? I'm very hype, and all I can hope for is that Iron Man is DLC.
  6. Good, that's more or less what I was asking. Also, CS1 Bang, damn he and Ragna were dumb as fuck. Another question. I have watched alot of CS2 vids, and it seems to me that the game is finally looking legit. How do you feel about it's "solid-ness" as a whole? Where CT was fun, and CS1 was more refined, both games ultimately had alot of stupid that kept them from feeling truly complete.
  7. It's kinda hard to describe what I'm saying but, in CS1, Mu was a very advanced character for more reasons than just her semi-annoying combos. To be effective you really needed to be on point with normal selection and spacing. In addition, you had to be aware of your steins and setups. It always felt to me that what made Mu advanced, was never the execution. Does that make any sense?
  8. You'd rank Mu that easy huh, interesting. I knew from the day I saw her that her stuff got alot easier. The question remains, combo's easier or not, will she still maintain that advanced edge she has in CS1. That was something I always liked about her, and one of the reasons I kinda stopped with Rag's in CS1. I know you aren't a Mu player Luna, but if you have anything to say in regards to that, I would like to hear it. Edit: or if any of you Mu guys got your hands on CS2, you probably matter more.
  9. I'm curious, since you've played CS2 a bit, how would you rank the characters in newb friendlines? (Also, a secret hurrah to Ragna being less dumb).

With CS2 about to some around the corner, we'll get another good shot at revamping the matchup sections of DL. You have said several times before that the matchups sections on the site are a bit lacking and I agree. Personally, I think they could stand to be alot less broad and more specific, but I wanted to know. As one of the more experienced players (and writer of excellent Litchi matchup details), what kind of things should a player be looking for in matchups, and what would be the best way to improve the matchup stuff when CS2 does finally roll around?

  13. New Mu is definitely a more complete character. And in reality, easier execution is a better thing, but the selfish part of me likes being able to do the high execution stuff other people can't. I get a regular chuckle at what the SRK people consider an "impractical" combo in Marvel.
  14. Part of me is going to miss Mu's stuff being on the hard side.

  17. On the bright side, his average damage is higher by comparison. It's a shame Tager has such a low max damage cap though, stupid 40% character rating.
  18. Lol. I thought long and hard about getting CS2 on PSP, but playing on a portables controls sounds incredibly frustrating. Besides, I've got Mahvel to keep me busy.

  20. I meant it situationally. Now that it corner bounds, we can get something off any level, provided we're somewhat close to a corner. We're talking about the same thing I think.
  21. 5B is still 9. But yeah, I like that. Your much more likely to get a hit to combo from with 5B than other moves. For punishes we will probably still do 6C when possible.
  22. Good work, it looks great! Also, I just noticed. 3C now has a p1 of 90, wow, they really took it out on that move. It's not like we could combo off it anyways.
  23. 2C is special cancleable, but what are you gonna cancel into exactly, Sledge, Volt Charge? It's all LOLZ from there.
  24. @Luna: ACtually, I thought you made good points. I think Noel has a random factor that helps her in this matchup, if that simplification makes sense. You actually convinced me. @Tempest: Rachel can attempt to get in quickly with wind. And even at that ideal spacing you have options. Oft times, IB, 5C (trade) but you recover first and can escape. Though Rachel is no where near as free as Tager. Also, I've seen your Mu, it's one of the best I've seen, for what that's worth.
