  1. Well, 3C ducks under it (as you probably know). The reason it looks funny is because Mu's 5C takes 14 frames to start up, but the animation makes it look like it hits much earlier. It's one of my bigger complaints about the character, alot of her hitboxes and animations don't quite match up. But your makoto is spectacular at making me second guess my 5C range pokes. It's Mu's best range, but after getting hit out of 5C/jC a few times I get scared and start letting you get too close.

  2. Fixed Pisces match. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A4cPSRoJUCc Watched again uploading. The dude mashes sooooo hard.

  3. Sorry I did a sloppy editing job and cut out part of the match. Re-uploaded it, here's the new link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A4cPSRoJUCc Once again, your Mu looks pretty good, we should play sometime.

  4. Yeah, I did a bad job editing it, so I decided to re-upload. It'll be up sometime tomorrow. He mashes 5C and 4B, go figure.

  5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIg6Q3W2Q_Q Because watching Pisces get trolled is fuckin hilarious. ALso, your Mu looks pretty damned good.
  6. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kX3gnT3pTjU More publicity for you. At least I won one in this set.
  7. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kauXO0HNkjs Thought I would let you know. I looked at our matches of that night, but we both just got hit by a bunch of silly stuff. I uploaded this only because of the number of Mu's parlor tricks I got to use, and it might help other players see what the character can do. If you want it taken down, or want me to upload something else let me know. Also: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIg6Q3W2Q_Q Because watching Pisces play is fuckin hilarious.
  8. I just wanted to say your Tager has gotten alot better. I was impressed at how much you were IB'ing and a few of your traps were solid. We should play again, I promise I won't pick Hazama.

  9. Sports players can always see the lines and goals on their courts. I would soft ban the training mode stage on the grounds that it F's up some characters more than others. I know with Mu, I often can't tell where the damned corners are until after they've bounced off the wall, and by then it's too late to choose the correct oki setup. You talk like soft banning stages is unheard of in FG's? Even in SF4 people don't like to play on the volcano level because it makes alot of stuff nigh impossible to see.
  10. Really, for some reason I had never tried that... Thanks, that will makes things much better, the rest of the matchup is cake.
  11. I've been having trouble with Lambda's corner "trap". By that I mean when you are stuck in the corner and she is locking you down with 5D, 214D, parsers, crescent saber, etc... I know that if you IB the swords you can punish several things, but I would like to know what my options are. Trying random things just to get CH around like a scrub isn't fun.
  12. Whether it's a buff or not depends on whether it's playing basketball or driving a car.
  13. It's -10 on normal block, but, the longer it's charged the more frame advantage it gets. At full charge it's +1 or 2. The reason people don't punish it often is because of range. He probably means he's reacting to the stance+overhead, in which case he's asking for trouble because Hazama has a ton of options out of his stance.
  14. I'm a frame data fiend , the fastest moves in the game are 5 frame (unless you count Makoto's parry or Hakumen's counters going active). So you can't punish his overhead unless you pull an air IB.
  15. Lol SSF4. Maybe I would like it more if I was better at it. But getting good at that game is really annoying. Anyways, hope to see you on live again soon.

  16. Yeah, if you care, you can backdash>360A (maybe 360B) if you think she's gonna DP out of Gadget. Happens to me so often I don't DP Gadget much anymore, not as much as I do with Rag's anways. If you ever get on live again hit me up, I can give you that matchup experience. Also, do you always use that tag "NemesiG 007" if so I should get you/him on my list so you I can invite you when you are on live.

  17. I think he means hitting it out of startup, which is doable, but easier said than done.
  18. Yeah, I get results when I use it, but I kinda forget about it. 6B>4D gives me a good reason to try his overhead though... Outside of stomping primers out of Lambda players...

  19. Oh that sucks when you can't block right. Especially because 3C>5D>SoD is pretty bad vs Tager and well, most everyone. Did he do anything especially interesting, or just treat it like the dull keep away match it is? Also, Zeromous plays Mu on PSN, I've heard he's pretty decent but I haven't played him myself.

  20. Any videos of your match with XaQ? or Mu from SBR in general? There aren't many good Mu players and I wanna see what some other people are doing with her. How'd you do btw?

  21. Be careful with that, because 5B and 2B are 360A proof on their own.
  22. 6B cancels into 4D?!?! How did I not know this? I really need to abuse Tagers 4D alot more.

  23. I played with it in training mode, the timing of the cross-under can effect how easily or if it can be mashed out of. You want to do the sliding move as early as possible and still cross-under. This is no surprise, but, bang has the easiest time mashing out of the cross-under.
  24. Whether it works of not, why wouldn't you do the 6B juggle for 7.2K?
  25. Yeah, I know, I just didn't mention that one. Tager has this habit of sucking. I agree on the matchup, though I think it's on the worse side. I peg it at 6.5 in Mu's favor for exactly the reason you listed. Once Tager gets in, it really sucks. On the strategies part, I'm a big fan of 236D oki in this matchup. If you do ~>6C>5D>6D>236D You can block a wakeup sledge and the laser will CH him and let you combo. Once he stops sledging you have all kinds of options. On the opposite note, ~>5D>6D>(SJC) and ~6C>2D>j2C>6D can be back-dashed by Tager. Also, midscreen, if you can get 3-4 steins in a horizontal pattern 236D is fairly sledge proof (provided you're not in Tagers grill for a grab) as the sledge should get hit out of recovery. Edit: Tager was also free against Rachel and pretty screwed against Jin and Tao, but, CT was just... yeah.
