Thanks for that! Right now, I'm of the opinion that GameFAQs and SRK are completely useless, particularly SRK because the webpage takes forever to load. Does anyone know if there are other combo extenders besides OTG assists? I don't have many of those with my teams....particularly my A Team, but I once saw someone use Vergil and Strider's Vajira Assist effectively as a combo extender. Also haven't found a good combo for Zero and Vergil's Rapid Slash yet.

My only hope is that the Guest Characters aren't as broken as SC4.

Seriously though, what's a guy gotta do to put Sol Badguy's headband, belt, and jeans in this game!

Okay, I just found a totally fun Deck for Strider: Sabertooth*/Lin/MultipleMan Not only does it help with the lack of HP Strider so desperately needs, it boosts his speed AND it cuts back on his meter use so he can build it for Level 3: Ouroboros and Ragnarok. :D And besides that there's the fact you get 3 lives, which reminds me of Arcade Strider, lol Only deck so far I've lost to is Sabertooth*/LukeCage/LukeCage (Regeners versus Regeners never win)

Bah, Hilde's is crap compared to her Princess Dress. I can't wait to mess with Create-A-Soul.

Is it dependent on using the attack button dash input? Or can you do 66 > 2 > 66 > 2 on pad?

Okay this is really getting to me, I'm a total noob...what the hell is Wavedash and how do you do it? I heard Strider is good at this.

This would be great, but that still doesn't stop turnover players from being labeled "beginners" despite having skill from previous games, nor does it exactly prove all that consistent a method of boosting rank. IMO, you shouldn't "rank up" from Beginner to Amateur (or in this case E5 to E4) until you can consistently beat at least 10 E4 players or more... Nor does it guarantee an A1 player won't end up fighting an E5 player...often that stupid Capcom matching system never works...nor did it work in BlazBlue. If you can't find an opponent of your rank, you shouldn't be forced to fight lower or higher ranks just to keep the search engine running smoothly. It should say "rank not found" or something unless you specify to ignore rank, and if Player 1 chooses ignore Rank, Player 2 who chose to play according to Rank shouldn't be forced to fight him. Players who Ignore Rank should only be matched with other players who Ignore Rank.

Thanks! I will keep working at it. Team 1: Also, although those are the characters I play with the most...I am not good at most of them. I'm probably most familiar with Zero/Vergil/Strider, but Vergil and Zero are the ones I have trouble doing normal and extended combos for. Vergil especially, but Zero's air combos and air tech traps I have yet to comprehend. In Zero's case though, I know a semi-combo infinite for (2L 5M 5H 6H 2L 5M 5H 6H repeat). Team 2: Ryu I'm fairly good at, since I can usually combo into Shinkuu Tatsumaki or Mule Kick into Shinkuu Hadouken, so he's a one-man army most of the time with me. Hulk, not so much, I use him as a Tank to super-armor through stuff, so I'm not really familiar with his combos, same goes for Nova. Team 3: Morrigan is probably my best character, since I can combo easiest with her from airdash Drill kick j.S into 5H 2P(x2) 5H semi infinites, but I have a hard time chaining moves together with Hsien-Ko, since half the time 2H isn't close enough to link into S or gets pushblocked. Actually I don't really know how she gets in or half her combos, she's so weird, I just use Sempu-bu half the time. Phoenix I'm okay with, but Dark Phoenix not so much, so knowing what both can do would help.

Honestly it doesn't matter what males or females show up to me in a cast like SCV's...so long as I can make my own characters based on those styles, I can be happy. :D

It's actually a variant on the Zato-ichi sword: http://www.sword-buyers-guide.com/zatoichi-sword.html By the way, ichi means "ONE" in Japanese, and that's how you get the name Zato=ONE. :D Zato-Ichi is famous for being a blind swordsman in Yakuza action films.

Just throwing this out there, if you have any questions regarding Night of Knives that I just finished translating, now's the time to ask. :D

Closing Notes: The ending to this is a lot more conclusive than my earlier translation attempt, so I made a lot of baseless assumptions back then regarding May, bear in mind. Salteria Calroni and Leon Maining's fates are currently unknown at this time. Though it wouldn't be surprising if Ky Kiske was given jurisdiction over Calronia when he took the throne of Illuriya, which is made up of a series of United Kingdoms, perhaps near that region. I do not know if Salteria kept his name when he got adopted. It would be the ultimate hubris if he ended up being the boy "Eddie" that Venom met in one of his endings in Accent Core Plus. There seems to be little difference between the methods used to create Gears and the God Series' itself, despite being clones of Kinjuu (Forbidden Beasts). It's never said if Millia or Johnny remembered each other from this incident, either. I was incorrect with my initial assumption regarding Millia and Zato at the end of this story. It seems that for the time being she is still part of the Guild, but most likely at some point later on, she meets with Ky Kiske and the IPF and betrays Zato, ultimately leading to his being imprisoned. I assume Venom managed to escape or wasn't present during that incident. Also, I will try to translate Slayer's sidestories at another time, so I may make a separate thread for that. And although it's never fully explained, Zato hints that the Poplar, a tree blossom, represents his Birthday in Flower Language. And although he says Millia liked his flower, she also liked Easter Lilies, which he later says represent her desire to have children (it's assumed that she sacrificed being able to become pregnant in order to gain the Forbidden Magic Angra). This can also imply that the Easter Lily represents her Birthday, which is unknown at this time, unless Zato somehow knew when her Birthday was, despite her being an orphan. Easter Lilies are assumed to represent Easter itself, or the first full moon of the season (Millia's profile suggests a Full Moon theme), so late March or Early April. Lastly, no other information regarding the dagger OutRage that Slayer has is given. No name either, so it's assumed to be one of the two unnamed Sacred Treasures. Anyways, thanks for reading!

My Shadow is growing weaker.」 Slayer 「Because of our small numbers, our total attack power is as poor as throwing a Sugar Cube into the sea...」 Zato 「If only my Forbidden Beast could strike at their cores...then the conflict would--」 Slayer 「Looks like a stalemate, then. Well, we'll just have to find a hiding place and patiently wait...」 Leon 「Khh--Hey! What the hell are you doing! Use your power! Don't look down on my hair!」 Venom 「No doubt you are a sharpened edge of steel, with movement speed that exceeds human eyesight...」 Millia 「...While your cue tip movement exceeds the speed of sound, your field of vision is pushed to a limitless state of Infinite Aerial Ball Mastery*...」 (*The term she uses here is "Mugen no Seikuuken o motsu boru" 無限の制空権を持つボール, Seikuuken refers to a martial arts technique where one's field of attack range is in fact their field of defense range as well, so they can attack, counter, and deflect anything within their radius of influence, even beyond their own radius of vision. In this case Venom's ball targeting range can hit anything or deflect anything from any angle around him like a sphere of defense.*) Venom 「Predicted--!」 Millia 「Guild Technique--!」 Venom + Millia 「--NUMBER TWO!!」 (The two strike one another using equally powerful techniques they learned while in the Assassin's Organization!)
