I wouldn't mind a HD port of Overture on PS3, I bet PSN could handle it better. I'd be up for a Missing Link/X+/#R/Slash/Isuka/Judgement/Dust Strikers/AC+ Bundle as well.

In addition, I-No refers to That Man in past tense, like she'd originally read about him in a history book...this suggests she learned about him in the distant future, so, like Axl, she's been all over the place.

Since you guys like to find info, I suggest sticking to in-game or Drama CD scripts. Beyond that, anything from websites and other media is susceptible to misinterpretation. I had to fix mistranslations in GGX Data that didn't jive with later versions of the games. About I-No, all we know is that she could use magic at a young age (Raymond says this -GGJ). Axl says he's seen her in old pictures with groups of researchers, whether it was for the 1st or 2nd Gear Projects remains unknown, or it could have been some other research entirely, possibly dating further back to before the Backyard was discovered in 2010. Ky (in Side Red) suspected I-No was a military deserter, as in she ran away from her superiors as part of a military experiment. Her hatred for Gears isn't so much racism as it is envy over That Man's favors. She opines over Justice being his greatest work, yet junk. She goes total Sadist on Dizzy, at the time Dizzy hadn't mastered her powers yet, yet That Man held Dizzy in high regard.

While I would like to do something like that, I don't have the qualifications to judge the character's frame data and info on such a high level as you guys are normally doing (which I have no idea how they do in the first place). Closest thing I've done is a brief writeup on Unlims in CS and AC+ Survival Mode Gold Chars. It'd just be easier to hold a GG Generations Tournament or something where players play as GG, GGX or EX characters in AC+.

I said this before, but I had planned on doing translation of the Overture Material stories AFTER I'm DONE with Night of Knives and doing GGRs for GG through GGXX. It'd be a while, but if you guys are that impatient about it, I can try and give you quick half-assed summaries (as per usual) of the stories if you're chomping at the bit. I don't really feel like doing that though...since my half-assed stuff REALLY IS half-assed.

Truth be said, the "egg" is hinted at in Ky's/Sin's Master Ghost, so even if it isn't mentioned in the story directly, it's heavily implied.

1. Ky was crowned in 2183. His wife had her "egg" soon after that (though the year is never disclosed, his Birthday is May 31st). Ky gave Sin to Sol not long after that (after sparring of course!). Gears tend to age 7 years for every human year. When we do see Sin in Overture it's 2186...so that's 3 years, so he's around age 16-21 in appearance, though he has a mental age of 2 1/2 most likely. Sin's sidestory has him around 11-12 age appearance. Also, so far, everything we think we know about what's behind Sin's eyepatch is speculation (even if it's a Gear Mark which is more likely)...it scared a bunch of kids but that was about it from what I've gathered so far. 2. Thunderseal has no information regarding what is sealed inside, likewise Fireseal...the appearance of the creature in Rising Force is guessed to be (by fans) a Sylph or Fairy...not unlike Jin Kisaragi's Yukianesa, which is Japanese for "Snow Fairy".

This is why I hate lazy short-attention-span arcade players. >_< Where's the sense of GG Loyalty? TRY THE SHIT OUT, MAKE A RANKING LIST, GET'R'DONE, then we can talk about how GGX Mode compares to GGX theoretically. Even if it IS broken, we don't know HOW broken because people are too goddamn lazy.

Kliff is called Danchou "Head of Command" of the Seikishidan "Sacred Order of Holy Knights". How he got that position is pretty obvious, even if the Order existed 20 years before he was born. The only information that's been gathered about the Order is that the United Nations and other organizations throughout the world have held a Sacred Order Recruitment Tournament every couple decades...so far there have been TWO (2). The first selection tournament currently has no date, and I'm assuming Kliff participated in that one when he was young, and probably either won it outright due to his freakish strength, or got high standing enough to be selected to join the Order, this is similar to Axl Low's current situation as the Order has stated they will keep an eye on his skill for future reference (if he ever stops time-skipping that is). This is primarily how the Order gets a crop of soldiers to join, by participating in the Tournament. Because the tournament is a public affair (think: Fatal Fury/King of Fighters/King of Iron Fist Tournament) with many financial hands backing it, it was easy for Testament to infiltrate and manipulate it behind the scenes. In the first Guilty Gear, the public grew exceedingly wary that the Seal placed on The Herald of Destruction (Justice) was weakening. The governments were correct to initiate a selection tournament, but they weren't very careful about whom would run it. The 2nd Tournament pretty much fell apart when Ky uncovered the mastermind, and Sol dealt with the unsealed and revived Justice. But even so, those who were observing possible recruits for Sacred Order probably had their eyes on returners Ky, Sol, and Kliff...and are wary of May, Axl, Baldhead, Zato, and Millia (Axl being the least concern of the remaining wild card selections). And, according to a certain source, the P.W.A.B. scientists who created Robo-Ky based it on Ky's battle data within the 2nd Tournament...they wanted to test-run it but the tournament was already over by the time a prototype was constructed (near the middle of GGX 2181 or so). Besides the Priests you mentioned, only Raymond was an ex-Scientist working for the Sacred Order. Also, Ky wasn't the only ex-Holy Knight to join the IPF...even despite traitors within the IPF, he has several police officers who looked up to him from the Order (their numbers are not mentioned).

Would be cool if someone made a GGX Mode Tier List for Accent Core Plus. Ah, but then there's the GG and AC+ matchups....dang, that'd be too broad, and people are lazy. This is more a technical question, but has anyone been able to gauge how powerful characters are in GG Generations for AC or AC+? That is to say, you had GG Mode and GGX Mode. GG Mode: Characters could Charge Tension (H+D), and Charge Cancel, Jump Cancel and Low Airdash anything, Dead Angle, and IK-poke served as either a guard cancel, or you could cancel into it from any normal. Lastly Tension would build in the last quarter bit of your life much faster, instead of infinite like before. I think GG mode also boosted damage for some attacks, but I could be wrong. Limitations: No Bursting, No Forcebreaks, No RCs, No FRCs, Burst Penalty (Players who pick AC/AC+ character get a Green Burst Icon instead of Blue, which lets Burst regenerate much faster) Unknown: I don't know if Negative Penalty changed. GGX Mode: FDC returns, OTG system returns, Dead Angle still possible, Airdashing is slower and closer to normal as is jump cancel, and Roman Cancel is allowed. Limitations: No Bursting, No Forcebreaks, No FRCs, vs AC/AC+ characters Burst is Normal, but slight change in Music.
