I was just about to post regarding the system thing. Since control schemes really aren't an issue now that these converters aren't a thing, I think it only makes sense to run on 360 since it doesn't have that 2-3 frame input lag on everything (or whatever) like the PS3 is supposed to. I didn't mean to send any negative vibes- I was just saying that I'm not as practiced as I'd like to be, and easily not as much some of you all are. I never said that I didn't want to play. I'll be happy to hope on tonight after I'm done babysitting (around 7 - 7:30) and play some gaemz with you guys. :] And I'd LOVE to have TNxOH. That shit sounds hype as fuck. I'm playing Yu right now, but it's a *little* subject to change. EDIT: Oh yeah, forgot to mention. The 360 patch came out this morning. I'm about to try a Ranked Match to see how/if it's improved. EDIT EDIT: Yep, online is on par with BB now~.

I actually heard the patch had been submitted and was pending approval or whatever. But yeah, internet information. And I have a PS3, and bought P4A for it as well. I just haven't opened it yet. :P I can look around and maybe ask a few people, but I don't really stay at hotels here, so I don't really know what's best. :P On that note, I'm not too sure we have any Red Roofs in Cookeville, though I can check. Of course, I hope nothing comes up and you have to flake out- but if it does, it's cool and we understand. Best of luck with the new joystick! You always make baws sticks.

Speaking of which, online is complete crap on the 360 right now. I played a game yesterday, and it was like a glorified Powerpoint show.

Fuck Score Attack Mode. Chie did God's Hand during one of my blockstrings with a hole in it and it Fatal Countered me for 10K damage.

And I know the game just came out today, but have any of you played Score Attack Mode? It's essentially Unlimited Mars Mode, except you can't use the Player 2 continue trick any more. Oh, and by the way- it JUST so happens that there's an Achievement for beating that shit with EVERYONE. ;~;

Sorry to hear you've been going through some rough times, Tad. But really, as long as you keep doing what you do, and as long as you keep being yourself, you'll be a part of the FGC. We're hella fortunate to have you in ours. And for people like me, you're an inspiration. Seriously. There seems to be a common mentality that grown men can't play video games, or like anime, or show up to events like ours- people seem to think they're things to be grown out of. But why should anyone let the years they've been alive tell them what they can and can't enjoy? To me, you're a living example of that. That no matter how old you are, you never have to quit doing the things you like to do- you never have to let people decide what's "right" for you- and you should never let your age determine how young you are at heart. Because I've met you, I feel like I can always be a part of a community like ours, no matter how physically aged I've become. And for that, I'm truly grateful. Thanks, Tad. Now to answer your question, I'd be TOTALLY down for a hotel party in Cookeville on Saturday. :D There are at least four other people in Cookeville (not including myself) who I'm fairly certain would be interested in attending. I'm not sure what it's formally called, but there should probably be mention of Platinum's new item, the present. It's shown in the trailer at 2:16 here. It's also worth noting that Platinum has three presents left when there's one on the ground, which probably implies she gains four to use whenever she loads the item.

Let me go ahead and abbreviate 99% of this thread's discussions. When you make too many mistakes in fighting games, you lose. Sometimes it's easier to make mistakes against certain characters. Are we all in agreement? Excellent. Fucking LOL. Nah, I'll get over that. The real reason I'm on suicide watch is because Astrals are disabled in the loketests.

In case anyone else ordered P4A from Newegg, both of mine shipped today from a facility in Memphis. The same thing happened with my Kingdom Hearts 3D, and it arrived the next day, so I'm hopeful they'll be here tomorrow. :D

I saw that post with the pictures and legitimately thought Milln was going to tell us he died.

Another thing I just noticed in the CP trailer: during Bang's new Distortion (Hammer Time lol), Hakumen's Counter Distortion, and briefly during one of Amane's Distortions (shown towards the very end of the video), the Distortion background is red instead of the standard blue. In the former two, there's something funky going on with (what I'm assuming is) the Burst Icon. But in the last one, it seems like it's there, and then... It suddenly isn't. Anybody got theories on what it might mean?

What I noticed in the Chrono Phantasma trailer that I haven't seen much mention of (all times assuming you're watching the video on jourdal's channel): -There are no Guard Primers, nor is there a Guard Libra like there was in CT. It makes me wonder how the guard break system is going to work, if one even exists. -Hazama uses what looks like 214DB at around 2:04, but what's different is that he does a forward step before he does it. And once the move lands, it builds a whopping 11 Heat. My prediction is that Hazama's stance might work a bit more like Hayabusa's in DOA, where you can double tap forward (and possibly backward) to move that direction. The benefit in doing this instead of simply dashing forward would be gaining access to the "buffed" version of the stance's move, likely by pressing the corresponding button before the dash ends. But that's pure speculation. - Litchi probably has two new Distortions (though it may only be one). At 1:44 she can be seen using a new multi-hit Distortion in which she doesn't have her staff, and at 1:46 she uses a spinning move that involves her staff. That's why I'm assuming they're two different Distortions. If that's the case, Bang and Litchi are now tied for the most Distortions in the game at five. -Hakumen gatlings 6A into 6B at 1:59. I'm fairly certain this is new, though it may be on-hit only. -Platinum has a new item which looks like a present, shown multiple times over the course of the video. The trailer makes it look like a ground trap, which goes off whenever the enemy steps on it. Platinum's item count for it is at three when one is already on the ground, so I'm assuming you get four to make use of when you first get the item. -Azrael seems to gain red/yellow meters when using certain moves. It can be seen illustrated at 1:03, where he uses a Distortion Drive that gives him both colored meters, and at 1:04, where he uses a meterless move that gives him the yellow meter. This probably explains the yellow glyph on Noel at 0:41, but what they do other than that is probably anyone's guess. -Amane's Astral, when used against Ragna at 0:50, turns him into young Ragna. It's very likely that the result of the Astral is different for each character, kind of like with Relius's. -New Murakumo Unit at 2:47? It might just be Noel. -Whatever it is at 3:06 looks dumb.

I can't believe nobody's mentioned it yet. You know towards the beginning of the trailer, when an announcer says "The Wheel of Fate is Turning"? IT DIDN'T SOUND LIKE COMPLETE AND UTTER ASS.
