I'll print some fliers out and see about putting them up here at Tech. I also made a Reddit account JUST to upvote that link, so I hope it gets some attention soon. In case any of you were curious about the difference in videos, compare and contrast. As for this combo video, come on guys! Let's get talking! We obviously have enough character variety to make it a multi-character video, but what's the focus gonna be? Should it be big dumb combos? Should it be stupid stuff? Should it be how many X can we get in one combo? Should it be something else? Or should it be a combination of things?

Regarding videos- some of you may have noticed that some of our videos in the past have ended up like this- basically, a box inside a box. The reason this happens is because some of the TVs we play accept component, but won't display video unless I set the cables to a standard TV output. Naturally, I'm forced to record whatever resolution we're forced to play on. However, I was messing around with some settings in Vegas, and it turns out there's a way for me to set the resolution to widescreen without much degradation in quality! So whenever this happens from now on, I'll make sure to process the videos this way. And as for Saturday's videos, I'll go back and re-process them all from the beginning. Sorry for the wait so far.

So... Um... Regarding Grand Finals. I was looking at the timeline as I was editing it, and I noticed there were only four audio breaks between the time I reset the bracket and the time the tournament was over. ... Whoops. For some reason after I won the first two games of the reset, I assumed Star had won one before those. I was asked what the score was after those two games and that's what I said it was. 2 to 1. But in reality, the final score was 2 to 2. It was my mistake, and there's no way of knowing what the final score would have been after one more game, so I don't mind that I took second place. I just wish I'd been more professional about keeping track of the score of my own game in Grand Finals, haha.

I don't think I've ever been this tired after a tournament. EMBRACE ME SWEET COMFORTER. May do shout-outs tomorrow.

I play on XBL. I've just been in Training Mode/Ranked a lot recently. Jesus, I've been trying to only play A to SSS ranks today so I can get good matchup experience, and my W/L has went from 70% to 66%. ;~;

I approve. In order to master the art of gimmicks, you must apply it not only to your character- but in the way you speak as well. Actually, I was thinking about Liz's Mind Charge mechanic recently. Most people see it as combo fodder, since it gives you a ridiculous amount of meter to burn. But something I think people fail to take into account is that if she activates the super with a reasonable amount of health and combos afterward, she can potentially get a ridiculous health buff in the form of recovered blue health + Awakening. Assuming she doesn't kill from the combo, that is. :P

Elizabeth is gimmicky? Sub considered.

And Yu has Dive Kick, but if it's possible to approach the ground with a glide like that instead, the choice should be kinda obvious. :P

I... still don't know what you're talking about. Are you talking about the way he slides on the ground when he dashes into a normal? Because that kind of thing was in GG/BB, too- it's just easier to notice and better with Yosuke because of how ungodly fast his ground dash is. The use of the word "glitch" or "design oversight" makes me think it's something else, though.

Man, I feel bad that I haven't had the chance to play you or Graham in person yet. We need to schedule a time to meet and play. Srsly. I might be able to swing Season's Beatings. It sounds really hype, and I had a TON of fun at Powerup with what I imagine will be a similar group. It mostly comes down to dat Monet for me. And awwwwww. I was looking forward to teams again. But honestly, things will run a lot quicker and smoother without them.

If you team up with Grimstar, I'm going to cry. I honestly think Yosuke is my worst matchup. D: I've actually been having this problem myself recently. I can't seem to break 710. :/
