  1. Dibs on first shout-outs! Everyone: I MISS YOU ALL. D:
  2. FML. Eff-imm-fucking-ell. I am NOT a happy person right now. I gave Milln the full details of my situation through a text, but long story short, I'm not going to be able to make it to MTNBB tomorrow. I was sick earlier this week, and I wasn't able to avoid missing some tests/quizzes. While the majority of my professors were more than accommodating on giving me notes and readings to look at, a couple were complete dicks regarding their make-up policies. Both seem to have adapted the "if you're going to miss something important you show up at a lab the weekend you missed it to make it up or you get a 0" policy. I already talked with both of them, telling them I was scheduled to work this weekend and there was no way I could ask off in time without severe risk of getting fired, but I guess that's nothing they haven't heard before, because they both gave me the figurative middle finger, even when I threatened to get the dean involved regarding making them up sooner/later. Needless to say, instead of having an awesome time playing fightan games and hanging with you guys on Saturday, I'll be taking harder versions of tests/quizzes because apparently getting sick is a punishable offense at Tennessee Tech. /blogloop I'm really, really sorry guys. I just can't afford to take this kind of hit, since this Business major has really been kicking my ass this semester. I'll be sure to make it to the next one, no matter what the circumstances. Hope you guys can have fun without me (haha) and I'm looking forward to seeing you all there/then. But in the meantime, I should get back to studying. Shit.
  3. Aaaaaaaaall right. For those who were wondering, here's how it worked from my understanding. Sign-ups DID end at twelve, but there weren't enough people to start a tournament even if I had showed up. There would have been four or five people there who were interested. The tournament WOULD have started at four if there were enough people. Correct me if I'm wrong about that, jio/Vandy. Anyway, the turnout for T6/SSFIV seemed decent. I actually ran into a few guys I knew from high school, and we chatted a bit about MvC3 and meeting up to play some games locally. I only stayed at the venue for about half an hour before I headed over to a friend's place, but I had a good time while I was there. Would have been nice to get some BB in, though. :P
  4. I'm being such an annoying prick on this stream trying to get someone to ask for me. Ffffffffffffffffffffffffff-
  5. THANK GOD. Someone on the stream has the cell phone number for the guy(s) streaming. Hopefully about to get a response.
  6. Oh, Impact Clash is going to be streaming, right? If they start within the next half hour I can just ask them on the stream and still be able to make it in time. *Crosses fingers*
  7. Crap, I didn't know that was the case. I didn't go to/hear about last year's KiT. I'm so confused. Well, I think I'm going to give it a shot anyway. I already told a friend I'd meet him after the tourney in Knoxville and hang out, so I guess I'll just chill at his place if the tournament thing doesn't work out. I just wish someone at the fucking venue would answer the phone so I wouldn't have to drive in suspense for two hours to find out. >:/
  8. There aren't enough curse words in the English language. I can't get a hold of the venue to see if BBCS is already running. I don't want to head all the way up there if it's already too late for me to participate, but I don't want to not show up because I got so confused, then find out it DID start at 4. And I've got to make a decision within the next half hour to make it there in time. Fuck.
  9. Are you sure Vandy didn't mean that if SF and T6 aren't done by four, that Blazblue would still start at 4 and the tournaments would be going on at the same time? I thought that was what he meant.
  10. Then WTF is this shit? God damn it, did I miss the deadline?
  11. Come on, there's no way BBCS players would need to be there four hours before the tournament, right?... Right?
  12. WAIT DOES REGISTRATION CLOES AT 12 FOR BLAZBLUE TOO? SHIT WHY DIDN'T I READ THAT CLOSER?
  13. And nobody contacted Arc for similar prize packages WHY? :[
  14. Screw you guys, I'm going to go win Kumite and talk to Namco Bandai reps and get them to confirm Tales of Vesperia PS3 for me and get a beta copy of Tales of Graces F and get sponsored by Arcsys and get BBCS2 early. It's going to be amazing and you're ALL going to miss it. Really, though, sorry to hear so many of you all can't make it. I'll do my best to represent Middle Tennessee well in your stead. Feel free to laugh if I win. :3
  15. Damn it, how do all these weather announcements pass me by until the last minute? >_> Yeah, I still plan on going though, even if I have to leave Friday afternoon to convince my parents. And I agree it's stupid how many people pushed for BBCS at KIT if they didn't think they'd be able to/had any intentions to go. Like you said, I think there will be plenty of people there who play CS on the side, and there may be a few lurkers or people who hear about it at the last minute and decide to show. I'm expecting the turnout to be decent. :]
  16. Because for some reason everyone seems to have the mentality of "no one's going to show up, so I'm not going to, either." If half the people who thought that way just showed up anyway we'd have a good turnout. :/
  17. IT'S ALL MY FAULT! *Cries*
  18. Wait- SSFIV's supposed to be over in HALF AN HOUR? And Tekken 6 is supposed to last 3 AND A HALF? What's next? Being told BBCS takes place after them all because the best was saved for last?
  19. I'd guess the order listed- Tekken 6, SSFIV, then BBCS... but I could be wrong. It'd be nice to know before Saturday so I/we don't show up late. XD GOD I'M SO HYPED FOR THIS, GUYS.
  20. Hey guys, sorry for being away for so long. I was really busy with school last week (first round of quizzes/assignments due), had a mandatory church dinner to attend on Saturday, and got dragged along with my folks shopping the majority of Sunday. Needless to say I didn't make a lot of progress with editing the past week, but I did squeeze it in when I could. I think I can have them all to you before the week's over if all goes well. And Milln, I need to apologize- when checking the date for FR I mistakenly regarded it as Saturday for Blazblue. There's no way in HELL I'm going to be able to convince my parents to let me go on a school day. T_T Man, and I was really looking forward to it...
  21. I'll find a way. You know me and my Astral shenanigans. :3
  22. I'll do better than that. We're going to do Hazama v. Hazama and I'm going to do this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8pxdjB3HwGk
  23. But that's haaaaaaaaaaaaaard.
  24. DO WANT. You better start practicing those 1080s. :D Yeah, sorry for taking so long with these videos, guys. The software I'm using is really complicated and my computer is kind of shitty, so it's taking forever to process these videos. And since I want to put these uploads up in order of brackets, I don't want to upload any before I get a hold of Dormac's recordings. :/ Plus, classes and whatnot. I'll try to have all the videos up by early next week.
  25. You definitely want to High Jump -> Double Jump over Spike Chaser if you're running low on Primers, Famhuss. You could even use Berial Edge or Gauntlet Hades to move through the air provided the Lambda you're playing isn't good at punishing, but against a high-level Lambda you REALLY don't want to do that. Instead, like Overheat suggested, play passive-aggressive. Running and jumping in without making attacks is normally safe and gets you close, since a lot of Lambdas have the tendency to use 6D when they see you trying to jump in. And if you think the Lambda you're facing is going to react with a 6D BEFORE you jump in (while you're running on the ground) sometimes you can just run straight in for a free combo. :P As for blockstring pressure, watch out for 2147D for overheads, 236B for sweeps, and 236A for a green throw. When playing rushdown watch out for her 214A, especially when she neutral techs- except for her dropping sword Distortion it's her only reversal, and she can combo out of it. If a smart Lambda rushes in, she's probably going to do one of two things- 3C for a sweep (which gatlings into 214A for pain) or 4B (and you NEED to go to Training Mode and practice blocking that if you haven't already). The only other thing I can think of is her corner 5DD -> 214D pressure. If she gets you in this, instant block the last sword and H.J.C. over Spike Chaser, or 623C/D depending on how close she is. I know this might not seem very related to Ragna, but the thing is, Ragna's options against this matchup are so limited you need to know how Lambda plays before you can start doing well.
