LMAO, that's why I stopped throw looping a month ago in CT. When I did I was like "So wtf do I do?". I was so used to autopiloting myself. My entire game has increase ten folds since I stopped. I've become a better carl since then. I've discovered some resets that I found out in practice that I will share with you guys on the boards later. Lol, the change from throw looping to not throw looping is quite drastic. Now you really have to know how to play carl. You'll really see how good you are with carl when you don't throw loop. You have to know quite a lot of stuff and you really start seeing how complex carl can be without throw loop. Now your execution has to be on point, and when you get your opponent you have to make it hurt big time. I'm used to it in CT now. The game changes drastically as well, no more 1 hit kill as you said. I'm def gonna have no trouble jumping on to CS carl. I'll post the stuff I found out once I finish typing it all out. I think you guys will like it.

Sigh. They can't win anymore with their original broken mains so they quit/took the easy way out and switched. I hate stuff like this. They never learned how to play CT cause they just spamed broken crap over and over. Now their mains demand a little bit more than just autopiloting and they cant handle it. "Know what? I'll just go to bang. Yeah that's it. Nu isn't good anymore, arcsys nerfed her too much", lol. I'm so angry because I beat so many aras/nu/rachels on xbl, even though i stopped throw looping a month ago. Come CS and that beating would turn to rape/murder, cause you know, they actually have to know how to play now, but most of them don't. You're probably going, "WTF is wrong with soujiro", lol, sorry it's just I'm taking this a bit personal. I really want them to stick to their mains in CS so they'll see just how scrubby they really were in CT, but they'll just take the easy way out and either quit or switch. Such a shame. Lol, sorry for wasting your time with my rant.

In the I hate ranked matches thread, you said "sounds like a lot of people who quit BB when CS came out". Is that true, did a lot of people who play BB in your area quit when CS came out? Did most of them main the top 4 characters in CT by any means?

lol, For some reason I feel a connection to you. Lol, like a brotherly connection to you, lol. It makes now sense and I don't know what I'm talking about so dont worry about asking. It's like I kinda have to watch over you, lol. I hope you don't feel offended. How is your carl coming along? For some reason I'm just so happy that YOU in particular use carl, lol, I don't know why. It's just a rachel main using carl, this is one of the best main sub combos imo.

I def look forward to playing. I'm not at 100% either, but I'm just so happy that I finally get to really see what the true hakumen is all about. Lol, you know how noel is the true marumako unit, lol yeah. To cross paths with the true hakumen, this is really a life changing event. Also, I can't wait for our tsubaki hakumen matches as well. I'm not goanna lie, I actually thought you were the king of hakumens, lol. Your avatar portrays such power, and all this talk I heard from others about you, etc, made me believe that you were the true hakumen main. You didn't pick hakumen cause you liked him, hakumen chose you. lol, i know this is all sounding ridiculous, but listen for a second. I feel like picking hakumen was your calling, your destiny, and that because of that, you fight the way hakumen would fight in real life. If somone wanted to see how hakumen would fight in real life, they would watch you play, and i can't wait to fight The True Hakumen. All the others have just been surrogates, lol. I'm scrubby at best with carl, I miss my inputs all the time, but getting the chance to fight you is all I want.

IIRC, someone said that a new list places lambda and arakune at high mid, or possibly low A tier, and that hakumen knocked off ragna for third place in S tier. The tier list from arcadia, the one that had lambda in the middle of B tier, was just a first impressions list, it still keeps changing. The final list will take a while to come out. I don't have a link for any of that, but I remember a couple people saying that in the discussion thread.

The way you go around trolling the boards is something that I've always wanted to do. It's like you're living out a side of me that has always wanted to come out, but is too afraid to. You see tager is the only character is blazblue that looks like he could be the commander of troy. So the fact that your gt is commanderoftroy, you use tager, the only character that could actually look like he commands troy, and your tager is actually good, makes for the best gamertag and character combination i've ever seen. You sir deserve the award of "Spartan". You truly are a real spartan.

When in the NOC position, people expect carl to do a blockstring, then nirvana hits. You don't see them jump out because they expect nirvana to hit them, and don't want to get hit by her while in jump animation. Also, you can bait a jump out by delaying her move after carl's blockstring and doing 8D. This is effective against people who like to barrier block for more pushback when in the NOC situation. Make her do 8D instead of 6D. Actually anima comes out pretty fast. They come right out of blockstun/hitstun animation and get caught in it. It's literally like they can't jump out. Coming out of blockstun vid 1 Coming out of hitstun vid 2 You just have to give a slight delay. Too fast and it will be purple. It's the same for the 5B 6B one as well. The reason for the vivace A is so if they try to hit you, cause you are so close, they can't. Even if they don't walk into nirvana, she'll grab them right out of hitstun/blockstun, by that time you're already on your way back with the second vivace A. If they tech, you reset. If they don't, you can vivace B and do what you want. I don't have a vid of the 5B 6B one cause it was something I just came up with after practice and unfortunately I can't find a vid that shows it. Purple stuff isn't always bad though. if you want a free reset, after 5B 6B do anima fast enough to make it purple. After your first vivace A IAD and j5C, after coming out of teching animation they'll block j5C, or they might not, and you can just 2A/5A/5B/2A-5A j2C allecan-.combo. We definitely should have a reset thread and share our ideas. What do you guys think? Kyle? Zeero? -

Lol, i'm the reset master, you guys should have pm'ed me pronto, i kid i kid You want to force a green throw. I stopped throw looping a while back in CT and here some of the things I do Trying to force a green throw: During the [j5C 5B 5C 6D]xN combo, you can do j5C 5B 5C anima. If you input anima too fast, it will be purple. You have to give just a slight delay after 5C, input anima and it will become green. Anima will catch them like right after they come out of the hit stun from 5c and become green. Best of all. They are too far to DP you, assuming they are mashing it, so it's safe. During the [j5C 5B 5C 6D]xN combo, you can do j5C 5B 6B anima vivace A vivace A. During the [j5C 5B 5C 6D]xN combo most people are usually holding back(4) or down-back(1) just incase you mess up so they can block. So when you vivace A after 6B, they'll walk right into anima, mean while you're already almost back in the same spot you were in with the second vivace just in time to counter hit if they tech the throw, or if they dont you just vivace B and do what ever. On a side note Some times I do j5C 5B 6B anima, vivace A If they tech, right after teching I IAD j5C 2A/5A/5b IAD j2C allecan -> combo. lol We need to have a reset thread. Ever since I stopped throw looping I've come up with some nice resets that I would like to share with you gais . Note, the vivace A one doesn't work on tager. Even if you use vivace B he can still grab you, even though you're literally in the other side and it's CNO. If you want to test it out in CT/CS don't do it on tager. -

Yeah, theoretically rachel is the most broken, but as you said, she's the least annoying to deal with. Trying to evade nus swords of death and getting counterhit on the way into big damage, which lands you back in the corner, aka square 1,, was very hard for the cast to handle. Even for rachel and arakune. Arakune, imo, is the most annoying of the top 3. Free curse on block is a death sentence, and the fact that he has such good air mobility, dive spam, teleporting once you do corner him, made his curse on block literally a free win. That's why people don't really complain about rachel. Not many people use her, and you really have to face a good one to understand why. Whereas nu and arakune are easier to exploit,more annoying to play, and there are so many of them around. Hence why people hate them so much. Lol, for some strange reason i usually come here. I don't know why, lol, but something draws me here. Maybe I'm a closet loli fan? lol. Then again I usually have a thing for young characters in fighting games. Lol, I main carl but I'm not a shota lover. There's just something about beating your opponent down using a young, short, childish looking character that draws me to them. Lol, like the other day in player matches, some guy over the mic was like "I hate carl. It's like your getting you're ass kicked by a little kid", lol, I love that frustration. I've also received some PMs on xbl along the lines of, "Stop hiding behind your sister like a little bitch", hahaha, good times those were.

lol, so I like coming here to read about rach stuff, and I must say, this is the most interesting discussion you guys have had in a while. I'm not being sarcastic at all. I will have to agree with God of Olympus Rachel is the most broken character in the game. You only get to experience this when you face a good rachel. They only reason why you see more nus and arakunes is because they are both easier to exploit than rachel, spam D and free curse on block into infinite bee rape. You actually have to know what you're doing with rachel to exploit her. Which is too much trouble for most. Why go through all that when i can just spam D/free curse and win? Hence, more arakunes/nus than rachels. Alex, just main bang or litchi in CS Rachel needed some nerfs, ofcourse. Even rachel mains agreed with that. The only problem is that she was nerfed a bit too much, even I will agree, but when you, Alex, say that she was balanced in CT and wonder why she needed to be changed, lol, i simply just have to lol.

Everytime your name comes up as my opponent I get butterflies in my stomach. Truthfully, you're very frustrating for me to fight, lol. I don't like it when people are overly aggressive, and you take aggression to a whole new level. Matches are definitely more fun without the throw loop, duh, atleast you don't have to burst once i hit confirm. It put too much pressure on you to play perfectly, which is impossible. ggs

LMAO, antihappy, there's something I have to say to you, but that'll be reserved for pm. Also, like I said I don't main nu so your going to have to fill in the blank, lol, to a lot of what I said. Anyway. I'm talking from carl's perspective. Maybe I should have said that. She can guard break carl very easily in CT. Regarding the rest of the characters, I wouldn't know. Also, when i said DP i wasn't talking about grav well, but rather the stuff where she charges at you. It looks like a "charging at you dp". Lol, I just said DP cause it looks like a DP. Lol, once again you're going to have to fill in the blank cause my post is too vague, this is why i put the disclaimer at the beginning and end of my post. I never said dash through an opponents pressure. You know how in ct when you corner her she either shoots out her swords or does a melee attack and then dashes to the opposite side, pretty much a crossup, and attacks again? That's what I meant. It was a free get out of pressure against carl once he did corner her by the wall. Lol, I dont know the names or motions for nu's moves, but I assumed you guys would fill in the blank.
