?_? Ah yes, you have to focus if you start getting whomped on. Just look at how I was doing in the beginning with Ragna and Jin. :P If you let yourself get mentally guard crushed then you already lost. :P The mental game is just as big a part of the game as the actual game. For instance, some matchups demand a lot of patience and discipline, like Hakumen VS Tager or Tager VS anyone really. If you can't maintain a patient and disciplined state of mind, you'll lose, which means it's also a contest between the two players to see who is better at that.

I had fun last night. Fighting Tager with Jin is the best thing ever. I noticed a few things: 1) You kept relying on jab xN throw. If you actually land a jab, you should just go into his GF knockdown, THEN a throw, unless you're confident. But once you've jabbed like 50 times it kind of loses the surprise. You need to just jab once and then throw if you want to tick. You also throw out jabs way too much :P You use it as a substitute for defense, you should just block instead so you don't get hit or baited. Which leads me to...! 2) I noticed you tried to do stuff on wakeup almost every time. But there's no way you're going to beat somebody else's attack unless it's invincible ie Inferno Divider. I mean, you're just getting up and starting a move, I had all the time in the world to set mine up, who do you think's going to have their move land first? That's why once I get you into the corner you just keep getting knockdowned into CH 'til you died. Just block.

By the way, I'll record one of our matches next time and show it to Stickbug to see what he can say. Might as well show it to Severin or others while we're at it.

Someone thought my post about you was trolling. It's not. :P You could tell that, right?

And as for Stickbug, I'll look for differences... my mind was just destroyed by the time we finished playing so I don't remember anything specifically. He had good execution for sure.

Ah, actually, I tried those things in training mode a while ago as a solution, I just didn't think of doing it in the heat of the moment. But 3C is pretty risky. Haku extends his hitbox along with the sword (sticking his hand out) so the part of the attack that is just his sword is actually very small, so you have to be at just the perfect range and timing to not just get CH out of it. If he times the 214D so you're just getting up, you have no choice but to counter or block. The jumping j.2A (that's what it is now, if you're thinking of the baseball bunt type move) would work but I have to remember to use it :P Although he could just shoot me out of the sky with a 6D if he's looking for it. I have to try it out. Don't worry, I'll mentally guard crush you too :P
