Bang... Damn him and his relentless mixups. :P I think just getting good at blocking his stuff like I've been getting is half the battle. I'll try the 2A stuff, I didn't expect it mainly because half the Bangs I play don't actually do it on wakeup, they do it midcombo. I use a Mac, and the card I use is called the eyeTV 250 Plus: http://www.elgato.com/elgato/na/mainmenu/products/250plus/product1.en.html I wanted it to be in HD but it's not... it's $200... but I got tired of trying to find the impossible, a HD recorder and said fuck it. It does the job that's all that matters. :P There IS a good HD recorder, the HD PVR, but it's Windows only (though I have some Windows laptops gathering dust somewhere) and more expensive... plus I would have to wait to find it online or whatever.

Oh, I see there was some confusion. I'm not talking about what it says on the command list; I'm talking about what Hakumen actually says when you activate the move. I know he doesn't say what's on the command list when he says it in English, so I was wondering if the same as true when he says it in Japanese.

You're Desu Ex, right Severin? We played some ranked the other day but I wasn't sure. If Hakumen is already coming at you, then you're going to get murdered if you do 214D. If you just do it when you're both neutral, he can hit you out of it before it comes out if he's looking for it... otherwise I would just wait for it to run itself out. Trying to hit you during it is a mistake. But, I don't know, that's just what it looks like from my side of it.

So that judgement stuff like "The FINAL JUDGEMENT: INFINITY" is a fairly loose translation, then. I still like it. Oh wait, that's what he SAYS when he activates the move, not what the actual move is called... what does he say in the japanese?

Well, you'll have to show me the power of those gravity wells since I haven't really seen them used much yet. They seem to be more of a mid-combo tool.

His English voice and Japanese voice not only sound different but seem to emphasize different aspects of Hakumen's character. His english voice sounds more condescending and self-righteous. Although it's hard to tell since I don't know Japanese. :P

Even with all the changes Hakumen got, I don't think they are really what puts him in "mid-top tier" status; if CS Hakumen fought CT Rachel or CT Arakune or CT Nu he'd probably have the matchups set against him just as hard. I think it's more the changes the other characters got.
