Hey Keir, nice matches. I dunno if you could hear us but we were talking the whole time. :P A lot of the time we were addressing you just in case. I liked your Hakumen. I noticed you were trying to use the counters... most Hakumen players don't. Did you notice me trying anything different tonight? I was experimenting in training mode and finally cracked the code for grabbing Nu out of her Act Parser with Hakumen every time. I just have to do it in real matches now. That and countering her swords and a different combo off grab, I was trying to do those things tonight but messing up. I got the air grab combo off on you ONCE tonight after failing it fifty times though. You really put the screws to me with those grabs! Were you baiting my counters? It's weird because I'm so grab happy but I kept getting caught off guard by it. You're starting to play like my brother...

Bang... Damn him and his relentless mixups. :P I think just getting good at blocking his stuff like I've been getting is half the battle. I'll try the 2A stuff, I didn't expect it mainly because half the Bangs I play don't actually do it on wakeup, they do it midcombo. I use a Mac, and the card I use is called the eyeTV 250 Plus: http://www.elgato.com/elgato/na/mainmenu/products/250plus/product1.en.html I wanted it to be in HD but it's not... it's $200... but I got tired of trying to find the impossible, a HD recorder and said fuck it. It does the job that's all that matters. :P There IS a good HD recorder, the HD PVR, but it's Windows only (though I have some Windows laptops gathering dust somewhere) and more expensive... plus I would have to wait to find it online or whatever.

Oh, I see there was some confusion. I'm not talking about what it says on the command list; I'm talking about what Hakumen actually says when you activate the move. I know he doesn't say what's on the command list when he says it in English, so I was wondering if the same as true when he says it in Japanese.

You're Desu Ex, right Severin? We played some ranked the other day but I wasn't sure. If Hakumen is already coming at you, then you're going to get murdered if you do 214D. If you just do it when you're both neutral, he can hit you out of it before it comes out if he's looking for it... otherwise I would just wait for it to run itself out. Trying to hit you during it is a mistake. But, I don't know, that's just what it looks like from my side of it.
