  1. Ragna is Bloodedge, I just hope they don't pull an "Order Ragna" on our ass. If I had to guess, it's probably Lord Tenjo's (sp?) son. We've heard of him yet we've never seen him.
  2. It's only natural for someone to try to get out of pressure one way or another if you're leaving holes that big in your block string lol. Then again, it would be just easier for them to chicken block instead but oh well, mashers gonna mash and Moy is going to frame trap XD
  3. Not necessarily, if they IB 236A then you're left at -11 and 236A is easy as hell to IB. Most characters can punish you with their respective 5Bs. The rest of the block strings you mentioned seem legit though. I'd recommend something like: 2A > 5B > 2B > 5C > TK Ice Blade C. If you're feeling ballsy then go for an Air Dash after j.236C and continue to pressure. 2Axn > 5B(1) > 6B/6D > bait/continue to pressure 2Axn > 5B > 5C (max range) > IAD j.B. This one works when you get pushed out by a Barrier Guard, 5C > IAD j.B will place you right behind the opponent, at that point you can continue to pressure or hit-confirm if it lands. 2Axn > 5B > 2B, 2A > stuff 2Axn > 5B > 2B > 2C > 236A. This one's a frame trap. Once they start disrespecting the above block string by mashing A after your 2B > pressure reset, then that's your cue to 2C after 2B for a Fatal Counter. If they're mashing DP/Buster A then simply JC, bait and punish. Jin's pressure game is decent, he can JC most of his standing normals in order to bait stuff. Like Lucien said, mix it up and manipulate your opponent into getting impatient and retaliating. That's your cue to frame trap or bait stuff. Common frame traps include 5B > 2C/6C, 2B > 2C, or 2A > 5C. Frame traps are effective when you're doing risky pressure resets off 5B and 2B and the other guy starts mashing A. I can't wait for CSII. Jin's frame trapping is going to be much more effective with the addition of the 5B > 6A gatling and 2C > 5C, specially the latter, that one's a God send.
  4. So she must use her DP at point-blank range and score a CH to pull it off, huh? Fair enough, it's not that bad then.
  5. lol no One of the few characters that actually does damage mid-screen, decent mix-up, decent corner damage, combos ending on knockdown from anything and everything, defensive options, fair amount of health and primers, good normals, etc. lol I just noticed that Litchi can get 4.4K+ off her DP. I'm hoping that the DP can only be followed up on CH, otherwise I'll have to really, really respect that DP and bait it as often as possible.
  6. Like I said, he could have traded spots and saved himself some meter by just doing 4B+C. I guess he didn't expect that B+C to land and just reacted accordingly.
  7. Or he could have just done 4B+C. Yeah it looked flashy but I don't agree with spending 50 meter for a chance to trade spots. Now those Stuff > (dashing) 6C > 2D > (run under) 6C > 214C is where it's at.
  8. Oh God, the music featured in the latest Jin combo video is ear rape at its finest.
  9. Well that confirms it, CSII Bible > Random Rumors, lol.
  10. I remember reading that CSII has less "hit-stun delay", which is evident when you compare videos of CS Makoto and CSII Makoto while she's landing her Drives.
  11. I'm guessing that he means the jump startup buff that he received.
  12. Got another one up, the guy could use some work on his Ragna and I was trolling near the end but you see if you can find some flaws that I need to work on: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmOYEOq1jmY&lc=UF6lDyLHUCQ05-tfMe1KrpdQawCawDTmCgkdQ_O1zIQ&feature=inbox
  13. Man, she has some slow ass normals but at least she gains frame advantage off 5A and *gasp* 6B.
  14. I get that message a lot, that's why I just wait for either pktazn or Jourdal (thanks you two) to upload the videos to YT nowadays.
  15. Good stuff, I can't wait to try her out.
  16. Is Dramatic Sammy a special type of command grab like Tager's AC, Noel's 214A, or Tao's pounce super? I'd like to see the frame data of that move to see if it's worth using as a reset or in pressure. It's just that I don't see that move being used all that often, I guess that's because it's easy to telegraph and it probably has quite a bit of recovery.
  17. So 6C doesn't have same move proration after all, huh? That's some good news. I can't wait for CSII to hit the consoles; there's so much shit I wanna try out.
  18. Woot, looks like I found an alternative mid-screen BnB that I'll use in CSII, thanks to Ren: 5B > 5C > Sekkajin > (dashing) 5C > 6C > 2D > (dashing) 6B > (dashing) 5B > 5C > 3C > 214B (3042 damage) A slight variation of one of the standard CS mid-screen BnBs.
  19. What's even more funny is that Jin can't even use his Astral Heat outside out of a corner 6D combo... wait, that's not funny at all :blue: The recovery nerf is going to hurt j.D cross-ups the most, it's going to be more difficult to hit people with 6C if you're not inches away from the ground when you land j.D. Meh, I guess we're going to have to dig for alternative combos using dashing 5B/5C and Sekkajin.
  20. j.C and j.D have 4 and 5 landing recovery frames respectively... shit sucks.
  21. Nice work there WoZ, Jin Ishida and Nonoel look good. Jin Ishida needs to happen as DLC, lol.
  22. I thought he said "Mienai", as in invisible/couldn't see it, as in people can't block for shit (raises hand) XD Don't forget... 7. Nani? Nani Nani? - People are not hit-confirming or doing random stuff. 8. Abunai! Abunai Abunai! *laugh* - Zoners (or anyone in general) is getting rushed down.
  23. I feel that Mitsunari is more similar to Jin than Kenshin. They're both obsessed with killing someone (Ieyasu/Ragna), they both a have a cold demeanor towards almost everyone, and they both have their moments of spontaneous insanity lol. @ Jam - You see it too, huh? lol
  24. Hahah, right on. I wonder if Lambda would look better with Buster Machine Nono's colors than Mu.
  25. I'd like to see Mitsunari Ishida Jin, Nono (Buster Machine outfit) Mu, Nono Noel (hair down victory pose), and Rin Litchi (hair down victory pose).
