Well, here's to hoping that they don't decide to change the character select screen composition and that we do end up getting a final character. They said no more DLC characters, they never said anything about a character unlocked in-game (crosses fingers for Saya).

Looks fairly symmetrical to me. Now if he was placed at the top left/right corner or bottom left/right corner, then that would truly be asymmetrical. Hell if he was placed anywhere but right there in the top center, then the piece would be asymmetrical. Where do you think he should have been placed in order for the character select screen to be perfectly symmetrical, Tokkan? Edit: Oh shit, I totally forgot about Kagura haha, never mind.

No follow-up for 623B... but the whole reason why Houtenjin is so amazing is because of the ridiculous amount of damage you can get out of it from the follow-up combo D: A character without overheads outside of DDs, what is this witchcraft? Edit: Oh wait, Amane doesn't have any overheads either so I guess he's not the first character without overheads.

I thought as much Might as well just cancel TK Swallow into a low as opposed to auto-piloting the j.B into JC > j.B Fuzzy and risk whiffing it if they remain blocking low lol.

Are you guys able to hit-confirm TK Swallow > j.B? I've been practicing for a while now but no dice. Being able to confirm the j.B means that you can JC it on block for the j.B fuzzy, which leads into a 50-50 high/low (unless they IB the first j.B). I just auto-pilot it into 66 5A/5C.

Hopefully that's the case (to create an ambiguous cross-up situation by timing the j.D). Yeah, you're basically just adding one more Hammer stock to the combo. Then again, he did use the OD at full health so you'll probably get more reps with low health. Just a few more months left, I've got a ton of ideas in mind.

I don't get it Is he deluding the opponent into thinking that Plat will land right in front of them after the OD, then using the momentum from the IAD to go for the j.D cross-up?

Such is reality, RIP 5B pressure You could always try to reset pressure with 2B and frame trap people with 2B > 2C/delayed 5C if they want to mash out lol

Don't sweat it, I'm surprised that you were even able to animate the whole thing with those file size restrictions lol Thanks :D Edit: I took a crack at it myself, I just need the little clash effects and a more fluid walking animation and I'll be set. What did you use for the little clash "lightning effect", I don't mean the flash transition, I mean the tiny little lightning effect.

Even if you couldn't find randoms to play with, there's always someone here in DL who would be willing to play with you. The netcode is fine, just make sure that you and your opponent aren't using/sharing the internet connection and you're bound to have matches with minimum to pretty much no lag.

I don't really mind having Tetsu switch over to the Rachel side, his Rachel is pretty fun to watch. As for our next lord and savior, I would have to say Fenrichi. His Jin is the most solid out of all of them, although Ronitta's is probably the most fun to watch since he's not afraid to use a gimmick here and there.

I use the A+B+C macro, OS tech throw and just for teching purples and the occasional greens lol As for mics causing lag, I sometimes get invited to rooms that have 2 or more people with mics and it lags like a bitch. Even with 3 bar connections across the board. I personally don't like the use of mics in the BB community. I don't ever hear anything constructive coming out of people's mouths. I just hear breathing, background noise, shitty music, curses whenever they get hit, etc.

Mmm, you're right, setting it to random would be pretty much the same thing as long as the OH is the first thing I do in the block string. Oh well, I guess I don't want anything else then lol

I just want the option to set the "Block Switching" to "Random" as opposed to just "Enabled" and "Disabled". That way I can practice hit-confirming Jin's 6A CH so that I don't spend my meter on a RC when I could have just confirmed with 66 5B and so that I can practice hit-confirming Plat's TK Swallow j.B so that I can go into JC > Fuzzy j.B if it gets blocked as opposed to just auto-piloting into 66 5A/5C.

I want one too ~ > Teddie on the P1 side and Plat on the P2 side > Teddie does 5B (Bat) and Plat does 5D (Bat) and they clash > After the clash, Teddie and Plat jump towards each other and Teddie does j.A and Plat does j.2C and they clash three times > After the 3rd and final clash from the flurry of kicks (j.A and j.2C), they get knocked away and fall to the ground back into the original P1 and P2 positions > They get up and taunt each other > Repeat all those steps into an infinite loop Use the default colors and the Persona TV stage as the BG (the one with the yellow sky, don't know whose stage that is). The mod file cap is 78.1 KB and the avatar size is limited to 160 by 100 so see if it's even possible to do all this XD

Actually I'm complaining about Makoto's funky hitbox from Plat's perspective. Half of her BnBs need to be altered or delayed to the point that the combo becomes unnecessarily difficult on her furry ass. It's nearly as bad for Jin since I have to delay the DP C in DP C combos and that's usually the difference between doing the 5B link and being forced to doing the 5A link after DP C. That and 6C > 2D only works against her point blank and with dashing momentum. I complain about a lot of things, actually lol From my side of things, Jin can always end combos with 214B~C now as opposed to having the 214C whiff on certain characters and not being able to connect both hits of 214B due to hit-stun deterioration in CSE. Aside from that, 5C OTG still works on Rachel and Tager and the DP C still has to be delayed against characters like Makoto. As far as Plat's stuff goes, she lost some of the combos that were iffy on Noel and Makoto. However, I'm guessing that 22C still requires character-specific timings as it does in CSE but I'm not entirely sure as most Plat players are still too sucky to get the 22C > 5C link down even now lol.
