  1. I don't expect to land the 3C CH > 2C combos because of how close you have to be to the opponent but screw it. We've got nothing to lose lol, I'll add it.
  2. I hear that, I'm constantly trying to get people to stop those bad habits as well. The most common ones are DP overuse, button mashing, and excessive chicken blocking lol. Edit: Whenever I get on ranked, I usually get paired up with the same people over and over again, so I don't get much hatemail or rage quitters. Most of my "incomplete games" stem from the countdown glitch (6 of them, the other 4 are from people who really RQ) lol.
  3. Ah, so that's the deal with 236D. Good to know, I'll revise and update the thread with this info. I thought as much with the 3C, I'll have to go back and update that as well. Forgot that you can make it safer if you use it at its max range. Good shit, thanks again.

  6. I personally would never start a round with DP B but that's just me lol. It can be crouched under and is heavily punishable on whiff and block. Really? I remember reading that if she hits you during the last of the active frames, you'll get more frame advantage. That's really good to know if it's the latter. Also, does it apply to all of her 236X series or just the D version? I tried it on training mode and if she cancels it into the D dive right after DP'ing, we'll be on block-stun and won't be able to move at all. I'll see if she can tag you with it if she delays it. Oooh, I forgot all about canceling 236X into 22D, good to know. -13 at max range? That's plenty of time for a max range 5C punish lol. Good stuff, thanks for your input.

  10. You know what? Instead of doing a long ass write up as I've been doing in the past I'm just gonna go over her dangerous moves, her punishable moves, her overhead gatlings and other points of interest. Edit: lol, ended up doing a long ass write up anyways.
  11. It might not be one of the worst but it still looks pretty bad. The bullets nullify all of Yukiko's projectiles and most of her Persona approaches. Aigis can close the gap pretty quick thanks to Orgia mode. That and she has pretty strong mix-ups in said mode.
  12. Pretty much what Gamma said, gotta work on your hit-confirms and combos, gotta stop doing random Mamis. The one time where I would recommend using raw Mami against Mu is when she's doing 236D. You gotta watch her stein placement so that you don't get tagged during Mami yourself. It sure as hell beats waiting for her to get a free mix-up.
  13. Pretty much the only character that the 2C > 2D gatling will work on is Tager and I guess a handful of other characters if they Barrier block the 2C at its max range. You have two options against Tager: 1) Your 5A will barely beat his 5A at that range 2) You'll have to back dash unless you want to guess on a Buster/AC Against other characters, you'll probably just want to throw out a 2A since it's pretty quick and has decent reach. Other than that, I'd do the same thing as Kid suggested: back off, and see what they do afterwards.

  17. I suppose, but then again, I hardly ever even use 2C since I'd much rather frame trap with something like 2A > 5C or 2A stagger lol.

  22. lol, variation? It's all about risk-reward. 3C is punishable on block and so is 236A on IB. However, 3C can lead to heavy potential damage whereas 5D does pretty much nothing but give you a bit of breathing room. 3C is a frame more punishable than 5D. However, 3C can be special canceled into something slightly more safe (236A is -6 point blank) or you can try your luck even more with a DP. 5D in the other hand, can only be canceled into the EX specials.
  23. If you were going to bait his 5B with a back dash, then wouldn't it had been better to use your own 5B to return fire? lol It wouldn't have mattered since he used that random ass 5D hahaha. Reminds me of the times I mash A to tech, push A one too many times, and eat a netplay reset 5D lol.
  24. IB > DP, back dash, up+back, push buttons. You don't have to mash but just don't let people bully you for free, use your options.
