... Mitsuru... you could have been the one... but you had to be a charge character... I like Yukiko's theme better though and fire pillars and Kachosen lololol
-
lol, I troll people with that using Jin's throw > RC > wait > throw = TRM. I'll give that a try sometime.
-
"Our", you mean Plat's? I have the AI on "blocking everything" with "block switching" disabled. So I'm trying it off the 5A and 5C block-stun, which it does increase the hurt-box on certain characters but still no dice.
-
I wasn't going to get it if the Indy scene didn't either but about 5 people are getting it and I'm sure some more will hop on the bandwagon. Now if I get P4A then I probably won't get GG though and at this point I'm more inclined towards getting P4A even though I just love GGs characters. I'd get both but I still have BB and KoFXIII to worry about lol.
-
I just tried it against both Ragna and Bang and no dice. I'm advance inputting the j.B so it can't really be an execution error.
-
Ok, training mode is fucking retarded when it comes to IOHs. If you try doing 5A > Rising j.B on Hakumen it won't work but if you record the 5A > Rising j.B string and you attempt to block it yourself with Hakumen, it will work. Reminds me of the time when I thought that 5B > Rising j.2C worked on Tager using Jin but if you record the string and you attempt to block it yourself as Tager, it won't work, and thus it won't work in an actual match lol.
-
So it's a P4A original track, huh? Crap, here I was gonna look for it in one of the existing OSTs... Well I can't just rip it from YT because the sound quality will suck. Google search it is lol.
-
Between her fuzzies, IOHs against Tager, Hakumen, and Relius, her anti-jump outs with 2A, command grab, and decent oki, I can see how she rose up to at least A tier. Why do I have a feeling that her j.B will be nerfed in the future? lol Rising j.B works on Relius but you can't follow it up with anything. In the other hand, it does create a tight block-string and a frame trap if they want to mash buttons lol.
-
I'll bet, Xie scored a perfect on Spark with that alone. His defense is godlike but no human can react to a 8F overhead lol.
-
I hardly ever end my combos with 3C as I prefer the 236B carriage but yeah, that works wonders when I do max range 5B > 3C > 22C.
-
I never really thought about it since not that many people go for the late tech approach lol
-
2A OTGs so they'll be right in the air with me but these people are so damn stubborn that they also won't tech after getting hit by 2A so it might just work. @GGJ - That pretty much will only works if you haven't used a second 236B in the combo already. If they tech any time after the 2A then you just lost your momentum as they'll be invulnerable to the next attack and you'll either be at frame disadvantage or neutral at best.
-
Can't wait to mash Kachosen and fire pillars with her. Also, what's the name of her theme so I can go download it right away?
-
Well it really only fucks Jin over if I attempt a 2A cross-under because if they don't tech right away the combo will blue beat and Jin doesn't have any way to continue the combo after a blue beat. With Plat, the worst thing that happens is that I lose some frame advantage, no biggie, but Jin loses all of his momentum and has his back against the corner. @AXIS - Well I do, specially when I drop a 22C combo. I might get away with it from time to time, so I'll give it a try next time with people who refuse to tech right away lol.
-
In the other hand, gotta hate those people who tech late in order to avoid oki mix-up. I wish Plat had an OS with her 22C like Ragna. If you don't tech right away then you get picked up, except that Plat's 22C has a shitload of recovery
-
Should have asked TD to kick him, I'm sure he would have complied with your request. No one likes to play a laggy player. Also, lol at setting your controller on turbo to tech. I just mash A furiously until I see the tech flash lol.
-
It really depends on who he plays. My longest session in BB was against Jyo, 100-2.
-
I know it worked on Tager since CSII but I didn't know if worked on Hakumen as well lol
-
What the hell? At 1:23, Xie does 5A > Rising j.B: http://www.twitch.tv/xiei/b/324000282 I didn't know Rising j.B IOH worked on Hakumen. I'm trying it on training mode to no avail, I wonder just how he got it to work. Edit: I can get it to work off 5C > Rising j.B but not after 5A.
-
I've never had any Aras try that on me, not even Pneuma himself lol. Not that it would matter, 5B with Jin and 5A with Plat would beat that cleanly.
-
Ara 6C on wake-up? Da fuq? Might as well just mash 5A and get some Curse meter lol.
-
Oh hit, breh, of course you wouldn't push buttons after a -4 move unless you condition them to look for a reversal lol Edit: Wait a damn minute, I have no idea why I even did all that. The point was to do it on hit. Herp da fucking derp, I need to get some sleep lol. Edit 2: Well, the answer is still the same, it doesn't work because Jin's hurt-box expands a hella lot during 5C and you'll get tagged by even Noel's 5A. Edit 3: GGs to Dr. Patient's room Shoutouts to furious D mash by Gelatea Shoutouts to Astrolls Shoutouts to trolling Shoutouts to dat fitting room name "Stop, that' s gay" as there were a lot of "stop, that's gay" moments out there.
-
Yup, tried it and even Noel with her crappy reach 5A will tag you out of 5C. The only way it will work is if you use it at its absolute max range and have the opponent barrier block the 6A. So 5C after 6A is pretty damn iffy. Oh Jin, you and your shitty hit/hurt-boxes lol. @Batou - That's pretty much what I do against Jyo. The right use of reversals will force the opponent into trying to bait it and not reset pressure for free, you can also use that to escape pressure or to push buttons if you're gutsy. I just need to force Jyo to stop doing wake-up DP as that's pretty much the most predictable place to DP. It's a good thing that I know Jin's DP blind spots so it doesn't matter if he DPs or not but if he does then I'll just take half of his health in one go lol.
-
Mmm, Jin's 5C has a bigger hurt-box than a hit-box on the first active frame. There's a huge chance that they'll tag you as the hurt-box extends if their character has a jab with decent reach. It's worth a try though, I'll have to hop in the lab and see how this fares.

Posting the "list of shit that beats 6A on hit" here before I forget lol Ragna 5A - 5F, trades with 5A but loses to 2A 2A - 7F, win Advantageous, 2A will beat his 2A and low profile under his 5A. Jin: 5A - 6F, trades with 5A but loses to 2A 2A - 7F, win Advantageous, same as Ragna. Rachel: 5A - 6F, hits crouching so it will trade with 2A but lose to 5A. 2A - 7F, loses to 2A but wins against 5A Disadvantageous, guess right on her 5A with 5A and you win. Guess wrong on her 2A with 5A, you whiff and lose. Trade her 5A with your 2A and you're back to neutral (not good for Jin as you just gave up the momentum in this little game of rock-paper-scissors). Carl: 5A - 6F, loses to 5A and trades with 2A 2A - 6F, trades with 2A and beats 5A You're fucked, his 2A trades with your 2A and beats 5A. There's no reason for him to use 5A in this scenario when 2A puts him back in neutral at worst. Arakune: 5A - 6F 2A - 10F Disadvantageous, same as Rachel. Bang: 5A - 6F 2A - 8F Disadvantageous, same as Rachel and Arakune. Hakumen: 5A - 5F, trades with 5A but loses to 2A 2A - 7F, loses to both 5A and 2A 50/50, guess right and you'll beat his 2A with both 5A and 2A. Guess wrong and you'll trade with 5A, putting you back in neutral. Tsubaki: 5A - 6F 2A - 7F Disadvantageous, same as Rachel, Arakune, and Bang. Hazama: 5A - 5F 2A - 6F You're fucked, same as Carl. Lambda: 5A - 6F 2A - 8F Advantageous, same as Ragna and Jin. Tager: 5A - 7F, loses to 5A 2A - 8F, loses to 5A I'd say advantageous but that pitiful amount of frame disadvantage doesn't mean shit to him. In fact, he wants you there so that he can employ his own guessing game of A Buster, AC, and backdash/DP punishes. Litchi 5A - 6F 2A - 7F Advantageous, same as Ragna, Jin, and Lambda. Taokaka: Her 2A low profiles under all of your ground normals, beats 2B and recovers on time to dodge or block 6B. Nuff' said. (You're fucked, same as Carl and Hazama). Noel: 5A - 5F, hits crouchers. You're fucked, same as Carl, Hazama, and Tao. Mu: 5A - 6F 2A - 7F Advantageous, same as Ragna, Jin, Lambda, and Litchi. Makoto: 5A - 5F 2A - 6F You're fucked, same as Carl, Hazama, Tao, and Noel. Plat: 5A - 6F 2A - 8F Disadvantageous, same as Rachel, Arakune, Bang, and Tsubaki. Valk: 5A - 6F 2A - 7F Advantageous, same as Ragna, Jin, Lambda, Litchi and Mu. Relius: 5A - 6F 2A - 7F Advantageous, same as Ragna, Jin, Lambda, Litchi, Mu, and Valk. So we have 7 advantageous situations, 5 disadvantageous situations, 5 situations where we're completely fucked, one 50-50, and one where it's not worth being in that position. I don't know about you but this is some bullshit right here. So the verdict says to push buttons against Relius, Ragna, Jin, Lambda, Litchi, Mu, and Valk. Don't push buttons against Makoto, Carl, Hazama, Tao, and Noel. Push buttons at your own shitty risk against Plat, Rachel, Arakune, Bang, and Tsubaki. Push buttons for a 50-50 with Hakumen. I'd say don't risk it against Tager because of a guessing game of his own. Well that or TRM them if they're in range for it lol.
