They don't know how to use them and I know they could beat you with him lol, come on people, stop being so damn depressing. You're better than a few other Ragnas I've played gyahaha.
-
I play the AI when the people at home are hogging the net and I'm bored. I'm not worried about hit-confirms at this point but my reactions and execution need as much sharpening as needed. Besides, I probably won't be going to any tournaments until next year when I save up for a car that's guaranteed to not break down on the freeway like my current one most likely would lol.
-
Yeah, they somehow always manage to get hit by random Bombs and Missiles from full-screen. The only time when they actually respect the Missiles is when I use them during the 3C > 214D combo finisher in the corner. They will always block it in the corner.
-
I only abuse the AI on their wake-up or after frame advantage with 2Bs because they won't use reversals most of the time if you use lows on them. I only fight Lambda and Hazama because they have limited reversal options and they're not as derp as AI Ragna who wants to Hell's Fang me at every chance he gets. Of course I could just Mami them to death and it will work but I know better than that. Oh yeah, they're good for IB practice too.
-
Playing the AI really only helps with two things. One: hit-confirming on a moving/blocking target. Two: reacting to jump-ins, cross-ups, overheads, Bursts, throws, and super flash to buffer stuff. That's all you're getting out of the AI; hit-confirms and sharpened reactions. At this point, most people that still play this game have years of experience so they'll have to sandbag the guy pretty damn hard. Then they get down on themselves because they can't win (obviously) lol.
-
Pretty much this I always see people tell other people "Just play without giving a fuck". Playing without giving any fucks is like a gimmick; it might work for a match or two but you're usually more vulnerable to baits and traps. D_E: It might seem that way but in reality he's making a lot of good reads (or he gets lucky as fuck) lol

Shoot me an invitation when you're ready.

What the... man, don't do that shit. It's a game, you're not supposed to feel shame from playing a damn game. If you're doing that poorly against the AI, then you probably don't even know how your moveset works. Set the AI back to "Training Dummy" and get familiar with all of your moves: their range, their start-up, their recovery, their properties. From then, move on to mastering combos. Then fight the Level 100 AI again.
-
The game is already on its death throes and I'm sure we'll get some news regarding BB3 later on this year, what's the harm? Litchi will get 6K at the cost of 50 Heat from a 6B starter in the corner trolololol
-
Oh man, please don't pull a Star on us. We already have our hands full with him lol. Go to practice mode, set the AI to Level 100 and practice your hit-confirms and reactions against it. The AI is a cheating bastard and will always use a reversal move on wake-up the moment it reads an offensive input, so to get around that just use lows and the AI will very rarely use a wake-up reversal. I don't know how that works but it works. It looks like your main is Platinum and her offense is pretty straightforward. 5A > 2A x N, with the occasional grab, command grab, 6B, and TK Swallow j.B. I could play a few matches with you and you can try and learn from what I'm doing. Her corner combos are pretty damn tricky though, even the Japanese still drop them from time to time so you'll need to practice those a LOT.

Oh lol, confusing shit is confusing but I guess I get it now.

So, if she uses 236A as the starter of the Rekka series and then later on uses 236A as a follow-up to the Rekka series, it counts as a different move entirely?
-
Beats me, I didn't even know that his "standard" BnB made use of the SMP bypass "glitch".
-
Actually, you can, at least from what I gathered from the Litchi SMP loop and the fact that she used each of the Rekkas more than once. They just have to have a high repeat proration percentage as to not mess up the combo.
-
He does... It's like this... You can get away with using the same SMP move more than once per combo but they have to have a high repeat proration percentage. Ragna has a set of SMP moves normally and when he does his Install, he gets another set of SMP moves. Some SMP moves scale the combo worse than other. An example is Plat's 2C (70% repeat proration) and Mami (20% repeat proration). If you use Mami more than once per combo, it will allow the opponent to tech way earlier whereas you can get away with using 2C two or three times per combo string.
-
You can get away with using 2C two or three times in a combo (70% repeat proration), not so much with the others because they mess up the combo with their 10-20% repeat proration. They don't necessarily have to be different moves but the repeat proration has to be a higher percentage. That's why Litchi can take advantage of this "glitch" despite using the same SMPs more than once; her SMP moves (mostly the Rekkas) have a high repeat proration percentage .
-
Yup, only a select few characters will be able to take advantage of that "glitch". Ragna, Noel, and Litchi are a few of those.
-
"QUIERO QUIERO" I lol'd for some reason
-
lol, I haven't touched that website in my life. Might be worth a look, see what the fuss is all about XD Edit: That's some moonspeak right there in that site. Necesitas mas humility, senor SKD.
-
Fucking SKD, y u no have humility? Eres basura, KUSOGE!
-
It's not like we want it but we're probably going to get it... *cough*SMP bypass*cough*
-
lol Litchi: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EJqF_eJK9yc&feature=relmfu
-
I know that Ragna and Noel might find some really damaging, practical shit if they dig deep enough. Not like they even need it with their current damage output lol.
-
I would just stop playing fighting games if my pad was broken. Why even bother? Mine's getting there though. I don't like how the DS3 feels... it feels fucking stiff while the Six-Axis feels damn smooth. I hope they still make Six-Axis controllers or I hope I find someone to repair mine if it ever does break down :/
-
Oh yeah, j.2C does in fact fuck her shit up during wake-up in the corner. 4D gets safe jumped, 2D gets punished, and rolls get punished.
