  1. Who were you using to jump in against him? DJ_B has godlike reactions, he can stuff most jump-ins with both Jin and Valk's 5A. 5A really only works on late jump-ins or against Jin's lulzy j.B.   2. Also cookie, you may have noticed that I never reply to your messages and here's why... This goes for everyone here: please do not send me messages other than "Wanna play?" or "GGs" through PSN because I most likely won't respond to them. You know, stuff that I can reply to with a word or two. I really, REALLY, hate using that damn on-screen keyboard to type messages since it takes forever even with word prediction.
  3. It seems like too much of a coincidence to have a SMP bypass after using exactly 10 SMP moves during the same combo string. Might be ArcSys trolling, right now they're over there going "they finally found the way to bypass SMP scaling wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww".

  6. Plat is not getting anything out of that but I know that Ragna, Noel, maybe even Arakune and Carl can get something out of it. Ragna has a bunch of SMP moves and he gets another set of those during BK. Noel just has a shitload of those in the form of her various Drives. Arakune has a bunch of those and can probably use the bugs to maintain the combo even if he uses an SMP move more than once. Most of Nirvana's moves are SMPs so he might be able to find one of those SMP bypass combos.
  7. 2C, Pan j.D and 5D, Bat 5D and j.D, MJ Pan 5D and j.D, MJ Bat 5D and j.D, 214A, Mami x N. Those are all SMP moves yet none of those moves were used more than once, allowing the combo to go as far it did. According to the comments, BB (and I guess P4U) ignore SMP scaling if and after 10 SMP moves are used. The 11th SMP move is Mami and the consecutive Mamis do not suffer from SMP. I know exactly what happened, buddy.

  11. I wish there was something to discuss. That has to be the single most impossible combo out there if only because of the luck factor that comes into play when trying to draw the Pan > Bat > Pan > Bat in that order. One thing though, I didn't know that MJ Bat j.D > 214X worked like that. I'll have to rework the entire MJ Bat section Edit: Or not, you can't really get much out of that link. You'd be better off doing an itemless combo :/

  13. There weren't nearly as many complaints during the CS era and CS Jin had the lowest damage output, even in the corner he didn't do more than 3.5K unless he used meter for the DP D loops. Yet that was still my favorite version of Jin. 236D was actually useful back in the day since using 3C > 236D to end combos was like forced wake-up + an enormous amount of frame advantage and 3C > 214C was pretty damn strong in the corner since it prevented roll outs + frame advantage.
  14. DLoop and Japan already arrived to that conclusion and from the 1200+ matches that I've played as him, I pretty much have to agree with them. I have to completely outplay most of my opponents and rely heavily on resets if I want to win. Let's not turn this into some sort of debate though. That's merely my opinion based on my experience. Oh, one more thing though. While he might be low tier, I do believe that he's at least the strongest of the low tier. He doesn't have it nearly as bad as Makoto or Relius lol.
  15. Being a low tier character doesn't mean that he isn't fun and I'm pretty sure I didn't make such an implication there lol In fact, I had hella more fun playing as CS Jin (B Tier) than CT and CSII Jin (A and S Tier) because of the 3C > 236D reset options.

This is taking longer than I imagined so I'll be done with the list later on today as I'm too tired now. I'll edit this post later on today with the full list.

  19. If the connection allows it then just IB it and go for a fat punish. That's what I did earlier against this one laggy, D mashing Noel. So if I can block and IB that thing in lag then I don't see why you shouldn't. @Zeron - I promised myself that I wouldn't play any Ragnas that have a connection below 2 bars and for good reason. Unblockable 6Bs are just rage inducing.
  20. There were a lot of matches which I shouldn't have won if you had used your Bursts. Using Bursts is a type of mindgame in itself since it forces people to try and bait them, use 50 meter to cut the recovery of an attack, or use Burst safe combos which are usually weaker. That and Gold Bursts are +5 on block, hit all-around your character, and can be used as a sort of slow ass DP which can turn the tide in the corner. You'll be fine just as long as you're not super predictable with them.

  22. Only one person plays BB aside from me here in Indy and even then he forces himself to play the game. Netplay is pretty much all I got at the moment lol.
  23. lol yeah, Plat netplayers are much worse than Tager netplayers. The difference here is that Tager players get rewarded for their successful shenanigans while Plat players just end up looking like fools.
  24. Sounds like typical Tager play, I've seen way too many Tagers mash 2C on my Plat pressure only to get frame trapped.
