Then again, 5F jump start-up + 14F Swallow Cancel + 8F j.B = a 27F start-up overhead lol. It might look fast for whatever reason but that thing is actually pretty slow lol.

Heheh, if I can do multiple 22C combos on netplay then Jyo should be able to do anything Jin has. Our connections is hella smooth and that's why I enjoying using Plat against him.

1. Too risky, you're giving them a chance to either jump out or mash on you. The only way I would try this would be after a j.C > JC. 2. How does this one even work? I might as well just finish my combo and equip an item after a knockdown. Unless you mean that the 3C > 22C is the actual combo finisher but I'd much rather either do a reset or send the opponent flying with Mami towards the corner where I can actually play Plat at her best. 3. Same as 1, it doesn't matter if you get them to respect... sooner or later they'll start disrespecting again. You can pretty much get an item anytime after a 2C in combos, it doesn't have to be a CH. Meh, I'll just stick to equipping items after knockdown, during Bubble/2C combos, via command grab, or full screen away and I'll try during air pressure too.

We should get the guy with the best recording equipment to record them, if only for video quality consistency. I mean, my recording equipment is pretty damn outdated and of low quality. I didn't even know that thing could capture until way after I got it since I mainly used it for watching TV on my PC lol.

Oh and don't always Burst the moment you get hit after a failed DP. I don't know why I don't bait those Bursts more often, specially when I can just pogo through them.

Mmm, I probably am just making it more difficult than it needs to be. If Nezu can't punish that shit then I highly most other people will be able to as long as I don't just equip an item out of nowhere. I'll give it a try later down the road and judge that method of equipping items on my own. Meh, maybe I should just command grab people more for an automatic equip lol.

Holy shit, over an hour worth of matches? As the guy who played against you, I have a couple of things to say to you... You're easing down on the wake-up DPs but they still get you killed from time to time. Wake-up reversals are too easily telegraphed. If you must DP, do IB > DPs. Don't do wake-up/random 214Ds, I don't know why I got hit by as many of those as I did but that's a 4K+ punish lol. Try to mix things up with the 2C > NX gatling. You seemed to always just 6B after 2C and I later used that to my advantage to just 5A you out of it. Oh and you should only use frame trap strings on people who are impatient and push buttons. I've got nothing but patience, which is actually not a good thing since I let myself get pressured for longer than necessary. Try not to be too predictable with the JCs after 5C, I air tossed your ass way too many times after I got tired of 5C > JC lol. If you see that I have the Bat equipped or 50 Meter, be careful when you approach after a + move like 2D or j.236D. It's too easy for me to do 66 5D (Bat) lol. Don't push buttons after you block the falling hammer.

lol, that's Yumekami for you, he's one of the bolder Plats out there. Equipping items during air pressure doesn't seem like that bad of an idea, I should give it a try sometime. lol at that quick rise Mami, I should also try doing those every once in a while. I'm too reserved of a player, I don't like taking unnecessary risks like that though.

You can't throw Bubbles at Jin during neutral, he can reaction Ice Blade B to go through them and punish me during recovery. That and Jin is going to be rushing the hell out of me, no time to throw out a 28F start-up projectile. If I have the Missiles, I'd much rather use that opportunity to get in than to equip an item. You can't do random Mystique Momos against Jin either... One because of the start-up and two because of the angle at which MM fires items. It takes 28-29Fs to equip an item, that's plenty of time for the opponent to close the gap even full screen and best case scenario for me, get me to block. I pretty much only try to equip items now after a Mami/j.236XXX ender or during a corner combo that allows me to use the Bubble.

You could do wake-up DP C and it will tag me doing a j.D hammer but it's not worth eating a 6K combo over something that slow and risky. That and it will sometimes clash against it. There's not much you can do about it on block, that thing has a shitload of block-stun and frame advantage at that height. I'm just mad I couldn't punish that one wake-up DP C on time, I could have ended that round right then and there lol.

The most troll that came out of that match was you panicking and jumping straight into that fail CDT XD She's alright, her normals are just pretty slow and finding an opening to equip an item can be tough at times. I don't even use random Mamis like that so I'm not the person you should be complaining to about that lol.

Nah, it's the match where I use a Mami to throw you into the corner., setup a Bubble, read you trying to jump out and hit you with Mystique Momo and you land on the Bubble for a 4.8K combo lol. Oh and an Astral in that same match XD

That class was pretty fun lol @Mac - that's the thing, you don't have to be a fighting game expert to know that if you're doing something and it's getting punished then you probably shouldn't do it anymore. I could understand if these people were 5 or younger but I'm pretty sure most people who play this game are at least over 12 years old lol. My personal best is 5.5K from a 6C starter in the corner. I could probably dig for a couple hundred more damage at the cost of good oki but meh. Jin has never been a high damage dealing character lol.
