  1. 6.5k meterless off of a confirmed parry. Have fun
  2. Yes, it is.
  3. That makes no sense at all, given that the battle voices are still Japanese. Not that Sony makes sense all the time though; look at the PS3's shrinking feature list. Oh well. On topic, everything I have heard about how balanced AH3 is impresses me. I'd prefer if someone went ahead and ruined it for me, unless it's true.
  4. The AH1 port wasn't bad at all, just ... lacking. No idea why Atlas decided to remove voice acting from the story.
  5. Everybody does more damage in AH3... except Heart, who doesn't do damage at all. From what I've seen, every character can kill in 2-3 combos.
  6. For reference, I found a Liseolette mirror (plus another few matches in the same tournament): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qk9PMRxf2tk#t=0m36s
  7. The AH2 port was (very) buggy, with major slowdowns among other things. I don't think it's worth practicing anything in.
  8. Luck seems great with some characters. Dice setups can guarantee you full combos, because average combo damage is actually less than the explosion would do if they let it hit them instead. Given that the damage level in AH3 has been increased across the board, and that three full combos from any character seems to equal death, it's a good arcana at the very least. I'll probably just keep playing Plant Yoriko though (the name got changed to Nature according to the wiki... the wiki is wrong). Seed unblockables are fun.
  9. Most of those sound about right to me, except Tsubaki. Mu can make it very hard for Tsubaki to get charge while working on her serups, whereas Tsubaki can't do too much to keep Mu from setting up if she wants to build charge.
  10. I did all of the normals and started work on the specials, but since you've done all of those, I'll just submit my list for the normals.

  11. Yes, Venom has some charge specials - Stinger Aim and Carcass Raid. edit: This is getting off-topic. The point (I assume) was that Blazblue has no charge characters currently. Playing Makoto seems like a decent solution, though she's not a traditional charge character.
  12. 14f is well within reason for the majority of people. The problem is that the solution (jumping) takes too much extra time, not that it's hard to see the throw coming.
  13. What I'm trying to say is "block new members from posting in BBG (and possibly also Zepp Museum / Guilty Room) for <time period deemed long enough to tell if they're idiots or not> after registering". Don't block them from posting in gameplay related forums. Right. The restriction would wear off after a while - it just needs to be long enough to separate idiots from people who genuinely want to be part of the community. It could be by post count, but I dislike that idea since it caters to spamming in every thread you can find.
  14. Note that I said "in the general forums." Newcomers would still be fully able to ask questions in Beginner's Mode and gameplay related forums. Just no BB General / Zepp / Guilty Room.
  15. This is true. I know a lot of people (myself included) have issues not flaming people for making utterly retarded posts, and people do tend to hop on the bandwagon as soon as that becomes an option. Since many of the aforementioned retarded posts are made by new members, one way to prevent this would be to block accounts under a certain age (1-3 months?) from posting in the general forums.
  16. This discussion was veering from the topic of the "Listen Up." thread Circ made to clarify the rules, and it's related to the site, so this seemed like the right place to move it. If it belongs in its own thread rather than here, please move it. Personally, I'd say BBG deserves one last chance, as the older non-gameplay subforums prove that non-gameplay discussion can happen without devolving into idiocy, but if we can't handle it, it would be better for it to just go.
  17. CS's top tier is much, much easier to manage than CT's, and CS Rachel is nowhere near as bad as CT Tager was. Melty's grand finals were disappointing, but there were plenty of good matches outside them. It could certainly stand to be prettier, but that doesn't make it a bad game, just like good graphics don't make a good one. It's both fun to play and very well balanced.
  18. Do you have the switch on "DP" (dpad)? It's something you'll get used to and start doing faster, especially once you get a feel for how far from neutral you actually have to go to activate a given microswitch - it's a lot shorter of a distance than from neutral to the gate.
  19. If you want a cheap stick with knockoff parts, get a Madcatz SE. Easiest mod in the world.
  20. It's still going to happen.
  21. MadCatz used to make really cheap knockoff gamepads, hence bad reviews of their other products. The Tournament Edition fightstick is great. It's probably the best stick you can get in its price range, so I recommend that.
  22. She has an icespike too
  23. Proven fact: thumbs are slower than fingers.
  24. I meant Jin DLC color 7, if that isn't the one you were talking about. Down and to the right of the gold one.
