  1. Drow colors? I thought it was Dark Saber from F/UC.
  2. I like the orb setup + carry combo, especially since it gives her 26 meter, plenty for her to do the full 5k damage version of her corner loop.
  3. Maybe it's a bit early to be adding Mu to the chart, but her matchup against Carl looks very one-sided (in Mu's favor). Double-orb setups can almost entirely lock down Nirvana, her reversal gets her out of his resets for free, and it seems like she can generally zone him all day at little to no risk.
  4. Slayer's fist is covering up part of the title and description of the article suggestion subforum.
  5. The "Fourms" link on the main page should link to the forums, not to the articles section. Shouldn't have to click twice to see them.
  6. I'm going to have to say I like that outfit more, to be honest. I was hoping she'd fight in it.
  7. In CT, if you delayed a hit, further hits would have (pretty heavily) reduced untechable time. In CS, you can delay hits as long as you want with no penalty to the rest of your combo. "Space" was probably not the right word.
  8. Extra untechable time used to decrease with combo duration, now it's done per-hit with more heavily prorated moves reducing untechable time more than less prorated ones, meaning combos can last longer so long as the hits are more spaced out. That means that even if all of her moves had retained CT properties (instead of getting buffed), Litchi would still be stronger than she was in CT, and also that Nu would have been weaker under CS combo mechanics. It works out pretty well for Hazama.
  9. The article Digital Watches posted goes over how to avoid burst baiting, and touches on how it is done in the process.
  10. Unfortunately, the only GGAC matchup chart I know of is 2-3 years out of date.
  11. All forum icons are missing now?
  12. You can combo off midscreen TKs if you RC.
  13. I'm 99+% sure Installing has no effect of her normals.
  14. Everything except DP motions.
  15. Last I heard, both AC and AC+ work in backwards compatible PS3s. Every single PS2 game you play on a PS3 has three extra frames of lag though, so I can't say I recommend it unless you simply can't play it on PS2.
  16. I use Type-A because I find the saber loop is less awkward when the two buttons aren't next to each other.
  17. EDIT: I fail at (S)SF4 character knowledge. My other point stands. Blazblue really needs a charge character. I don't like them, but some people do, and there's no reason to not have at least one.
  18. 13000 - Tager 12000 - Hakumen 11500 - Bang, Jin 11000 - Hazama, Litchi, Noel, Rachel, Tsubaki 10500 - Arakune 10000 - Ragna, Lambda 9500 - Carl, Taokaka Lambda is third-worst, given that Ragna regains HP.
  19. Yes, the SE is the "Standard Edition" Street Fighter 4 fightstick.
  20. I recommend a MadCatz SE if you're looking to buy a first stick on a budget. the online store has them listed for $70 USD, but you should be able to find one cheaper. Unlike the FS3 (or any of Hori's sticks, really), the SE makes it very easy to replace the off-brand parts with real Sanwa / Seimitsu ones. Sanwa buttons are only $3 each from Lizardlick (x6 = $18). A JLF (-TP-8YT-SK) is $23. Once you have replaced those parts, the SE's innards match the $150 TE pretty exactly. Also, take note that MadCatz tends to do promotions around the time of major tournaments (and sometimes holidays - the TE was $99 over memorial day weekend), so if you wait until EVO, you should be able to score a nice deal. (ed.) Check your local game shop for a SE if you don't want to wait - local prices tend to be lower.
  21. Millia's been A tier, it's more like the other top characters (aside from and ) got moved down. The tiers now resemble something like: S: Godlike mixups + Oki + zoning + 100% combos from anywhere A: Godlike mixups / Oki B: 100% combos C: Nearly everyone else. It's then clear that mixups and oki are more important to tier placement than damage. This makes sense when you consider the defensive slant of top-level GG, and of top-level fighting game play in Japan in general.
  22. ASW has stated multiple times that they will release the same balance patch for arcades.
  23. Cut spike chaser / sword / etc with 4C (or j.2A), create safe zone, repeat.
  24. All of them are pretty ridiculous. None as bad as Gold Faust though - every item is a meteor; one hit = death.
  25. Mugen is the name of Hakumen's super which drains his meter, granting him unlimited use of it until he runs out. Don't remember what Tsubaki's super with the same effect is called, or know its input (I don't play her), but whatever the one with that effect is.
