  1. You "punish" FRKZ by late meatying something that can also chain to punish 6D. Forces Bang to block, which is reaaaaaally bad for FRKZ Bang. And for Daifunka, it's a tool that removes certain problems. IE, Litchi can only sometimes use stick-man oki, and Lambda has to be careful at mid range, especially with spike chaser. Stuff like that. Usually, it will never be used, but still helps.
  2. its okay guys he'll do everything right and play smart and then just suddenly make terrible choices and lose instead YOU'LL ALL SURVIVE EDIT: Either that or COR will evolve to his true form and no one will ever beat him again
  3. Umbrella is really bad outside of very rarely, in very rare matchups as the hardest call out And Ashura is just really strong. I wouldn't say it should be "I'd rather use Ashura than FRKZ" though.. should be based on matchup. If you don't FRKZ against Tager, or as a "one chance comeback mechanic" in any matchup, I think you are making a terrible choice.
  4. Yeah, and I suppose most of the FGTV wouldn't come anyway. I was going to see if I could convince rog or anyone else, but I'll just try to get them on it later.
  5. Fair warning, April 14th coincides with a charity tournament. "Fight for Youth, fighting game fundraiser tourney for kids on April 14th. Hopefully, the @fgtvLive cast will be there! " ~ShadyK
  6. Nice to meet you too! Learn the Tager matchup? What do you mean, I can't remember the last time I lost to a Tager in tournament or MM
  7. It's Blazblue Revolution, honestly I'm not sure where it is haha.. been so busy Just ran some long sets with Stunedge at GameCenter Arcade in Norcal, went pretty even. He said P4U is really fun, but kind of beginner-oriented, yet so fast you need to be good at fighting games anyway. I'll definitely try it.
  8. Rei, if I beat Dora in tournament I'll change my color to Purple faster than you can say "color loyalty" Thanks, Huey. Looking forward to seeing you at NCI!
  9. Like I said, Bang is only derp until the people you play against aren't.
  10. Falcon :] Controlling and dominating the neutral game is most important. Learn how bumpers and nails lets you stuff any action you can call out ahead of time and gain an advantage. His offense is strong, learn how to stagger it to optimize it against complacent opponents and how to frame trap jumpy or mashy opponents. Those two things are most important, along with developing an intelligent defensive game, since his defensive choices are not the strongest.
  11. movie intentions make a lost people unite but what have I done ~Haiku
  12. Fraudulent? Against actual top players (see Japan), no. Stay free, that combo should work against Tao too, IIRC.
  13. I love how hungry you are Solex, we can MM any time. You're a great player, I can't imagine why people still sleep on you.. doing this well with CSE Jin is really something. Congrats, Vineeth, great work taking BB. I'll keep practicing, I need to be executionally 100% to beat your Hakumen and I'm just not there yet, I've been too busy. I will make more time to practice BB, soon. And congrats me for winning marvel over Xray
  14. Great work, again. By the way, I've been working with making Bang's FRKZ combos more mobile. Basically, since bumpers are the absolute death of FRKZ combos, I have created several chokepoints where I can change the direction of my movement during the combo, so that I don't run into the "bumper combo ruin" that commonly happens. My two confirms right now are: blank 2C 6 5C 6D etc, which moves back towards where Bang started blank 2C 6 2B 9 j4C 2 5C 6D etc, which continues moving forward away from where bang started Both of these will not be ruined by any bumper and can physically move Bang away from the bumpers. I haven't worked towards optimizing it, but they both easily hit 6k+ no matter how you confirm it. Thoughts, or other ways to do this?
  15. I saw your tournament match against Galileo, you didn't look overwhelmed. You're getting really, really good. Keep it up.
  16. Hazama 6C nerf was the easiest directorial decision ever made
  17. Really well, the new Bang is wonderful and magical. And I finally feel like he's a truly complete character.
  18. I think there are some places on EC that have it, like us in Norcal. Try to get in touch with Lordknight, maybe?
  19. It's the Kaeru variant. (9 j4C 6 j4C 6 j4C land) x3-4 ashura. Reaaaaally easy to learn, reaaaaaally easy to perform. Learned it in about 30 minutes total. Also, I'm not doing the full combo in those videos, I'm leaving out some extra damage. In most hits, you can do (blank) 2C 6 5C 6D 6 2D 6grabwhiff 6C 9 j4C 6canceljD 2B (loop) ashura.
  20. Stay Godlike, Xie. Use your American pride to succeed.
  21. Yeah, I didn't specifically mention it but it's very nice. I tried it, had it mostly down in about 15 minutes practice, very simple. I was doing an improvised confirm of (anything) 2C 2B (loop) x4 ashura for almost 6k effortless. Haha.
  22. Maybe I'm stupid but I can not get 6C jD to hit Valkenhayn or Carl under any circumstances whatsoever (Without jump cancelling, which removes the option of web nail). Non dash 5A means the only circumstance 6C jD seems to whiff on Rachel is when you start a combo with "non dash 5A", a d5A will still let 6C jD connect. I'll explore it, anyway. Okay, scratch what I said somewhat. Only if Valkenhayn and carl are STANDING when 6C hits does it whiff. In contexts like (corner) 5B 2B 623B 5B 6C j4C j623B 6C jD web 5C 6D it does connect. So only for standing confirms is this a problem, advanced corner seal combos still work. A decent 2 seal circumvention is 5B 2B 6C jc jD 2B 5D air ender for now, tested it and it works. Does NOT work off of 5A or 2A (5A works if you hit confirm in 2 hits, IE 5A 5B 6C or 5A 2B 6C will both allow the combo to work, but not 5A 5B 2B 6C. I know I can't hit confirm that fast, but it could prove useful in specific punish scenarios)
