How'd you pick your main?

Was originally going to main Noel because she looked like a very combo based character, however I simply could not get into her playstyle. Then I played as Arakune and used the bees on my brother. The amount of rage that was in his face was oh so amusing that I wished to inflict other scrubs with that same amount of rage even if I can't actually see thier faces online. Eventually this escaelated to me genually wanting to learn and practice new tactics with Arakune and so he became my main. Sub Tager so people can't say "HUUUUUUR! YUR CHEEP WIT ARAKUNE! PICK SOMEONE WHO REQUIRES SKILLZ FOR ONCE!"

I put Blazblue on Youtube, and got Souji videos. My life was never the same. Of course when I actually got the game I almost started maining Noel and Litchi, but they had lulz worthy stories. I don't know or care why I picked Rachel because I'm dropping her for Tsubaki.

I mained Rachel and Noel before picking Ragna. I go to monthly Smash tournaments, and at the venue's arcade, I noticed there was a BlazBlue cabinet. I watched the intro and thought it looked pretty cool, so I played it. Rachel was the first character I picked up on random, so I just kept playing her. After a while, I began to realize I'm not really a projectile player, so I went to Noel, who some people told me was a more direct character. I mained her for a few months, practicing basic combos, then I slowly began to fail at them... I lost almost every match I played because I couldn't pull them off anymore, so I went and picked whoever told me was the easiest, most direct character in the game. I noticed I could actually hit people with his Astrals... AND THE MOST NOOBISH RAGNA MAIN WAS BORN YEAH I love it how my main progression is increasingly downwards in skill...

At first I picked Rachel, but I couldn't do anything with her so I dropped her. Switched to Noel, who I had a natural affinity for. Picked up Tao because I played through her story and loved her character. Eventually dropped Tao because I quickly got sick of only doing CH 5c, throw, and 3c combos with no variety. Kept up with Noel for a while. Started to dabble in Rachel with more success than before. An here I is.

Wanted a character that was very low on the tier listing and had a lot of unique things going for him/her. Enter Bang, with his nail limit, his bumpers, his 4 different nail attacks, his Fu Rin Ka Zan requirement, and an amazing personality. Now Bang is currently one of the best characters in Continuum Shift! Life is cruel.

I main Litchi because I said so 2 months prior to the games release and she has a pole like Venom so I thought that was pretty cool, I also don't have any subs and probably never will lol...

noel = gun-kata + fun rushdown ragna = learn how to play the game, dont really care much for him otherwise jin = learn how to play the game, dont really care much for him otherwise

I main Ragna because he was an easy character to learn and he has a basic playstyle, and I also main Litchi because I wanted to diverse from other characters and learn somebody with a unique playstyle and alot of combos and mixups, plus they both wear red.

Jin because he seemed very versatile, which he is. I picked up Hakumen later because he was a very unique character, not because he's Jin

Jin because he can do it all and match any character without too much of a disadvantage, and Ragna because the Jesus Kick is too much fun to use.

I'm actually not sure, I think it was after going on here and being told that Hakumen was low tier; not that tiers matter to me, but I felt like since I suck, I might as well choose a sucky character and see how much I can do with him. I'm actually okay as an hakumen, since there's less comboing, so I guess I made the right choice.

First i liked tao, but i wasn't actually doing any combos with her and kinda sucked then i moved to hakumen, and while i did good at first, i started to lose more as i went up levels and then now i main jin because of his CRAAAZY moves and crap load of tools on hand also i now sub bang, carl, and taokaka, and getting better with taokaka the more i play

So I was playing Noel's story, and after that great amount of lols with a drunk litchi chasing Noel I just HAD to play as Litchi, besides, she has an awesome personality.

First thing I did when I got this game was to go through Story Mode. Started with Ragna's, met Rachel, got electrocuted by George XIII and that was enough reason for me to main her. I'm going straight for Tsubaki when CS comes out for consoles though, because she looks absolutely awesome.

I put in quarters into the machine and mashed C. That's why I now play as white ragna with Type A controls.
