1. Can sprites here be used freely for av's or does one need credit given.

2. Is there a Valkenhayn Astral Heat gif here? I really need one for an Av idea I floating around in my head.

3. How are ppl recoloring gifs? I really want to get in and show some photoskills.

1. Nope. So long as you don't say that the sprites / sprite rips are yours it should all good.

2. I don't believe so. You'd probably have to either dig through the tread, google it, or make it yourself.

3. The tutorial on recoloring sprites should be here.

I can only answer one of these (the bolded one :x):

That is up to the artist, there is no set rule about whether or not credit is due. I'd like to think that most do not mind their sprite art's usage without credit, but to be safe, if you wish to use someone's edits, ask first about credit distribution.

I saw Rioliogiz's works and thought they were very impressive. Liked all the shineness, so I tried to make something similar to see if I can learn a thing or two. Here's my poor man's Jin sprite art: Link (Posted an updated version below)

Made 2 alt colors for fun but they didn't turn out as good, IMO: CS pink // CT black

i think itd look better if you keep it abit more clean, remove the big snowflake and try to make jin and his yukianesa stand out, but really nice framing concept there man.

Thanks! I knew something was wrong but couldn't quite put my finger on it, thought it was too clogged up but completely forgot about the snowflake. Removing it made it a little too empty, so I resized it instead. Didn't change much else because I like the way it is, but I really appreciate the criticism.

Well, I know for sure I could never compete with such god-like sprite art after months of not doing any sprite art at all, but I'll just throw this in.

It looked a lot more different in my mind. As in, better. (I'll post up my load of sprites later, maybe around Christmas time. I would've done it on Halloween, but procrastination.)
