"Stark, iirc, there is no such thing as a "true" unblockable in BB.

Meaning if two moves, a high and a low, hit on the EXACT same frame, one of them will whiff, unlike GG.

This would mean the best you can do is make the overhead hit ONE FRAME AFTER the low. Yes, basically unblockable, but not a "true" unblockable."

I'm having trouble with the hakumen matchup, how do you get past his huge range, I can't even use 6A as anti-air against him.

Ok so please tell me if this was already common knowledge, but I've never heard of it.

Tired of airdashing into dumb shit? Jin's Ice wave super, Litchi's all green, etc?

Well, Carl is now a mini Arakune. We can FD cancel our airdash IMMEDIATELY.

j.664]D[>4A+B.

As long as you activate nirvana, you can fd whenever.

Will not work if she's doing a move already.

Any thoughts?

I had no idea!

Approximately how much time do you save? And is it enough to do something like

5c > jump forward > 6d hits > low AD > barrier cancel > j.c j.b j.c

Come up with a funky name if its actually useful.

It's almost instantaneous, so it's quite a bit of time. No idea on how many frames, though. You do have to be in the air, and airdashing, before you activate nirvana, so after those frames (however long activation takes,) you can FD.

Hmmm.. I've only thought of it as a defensive option, but this is an interesting idea.

You want that to combo instead of reset, right? I'll try, but you'd have to activate nirvana out of the jump canceled 5C>IAD. (So I'm not sure how it'd work..)

I'll make a rough recording (handy cam type thing "/) of what it looks like just doing naked IAD 4D>FD.

It seems like him activating nirvana cancels the airdash animation, when he lifts his arm and such.

Pretty cool stuff. Might be kind of impractical, but just a weird thing I found.

Sad. Forgetting she needs to be in neutral.

That makes it pretty much shit unless there is bar involved... and even then its just a waste of bar for being flashy.

Does this also work for carls forward dash?

Guys,

I had a chance to do some CS training (playing CT actually). I've got a badass set-up.

Corner

whatever, 3C, 22]D[, IAD, J.2C, Alle~can, 5C, walk nirvana toward, jump backwards, J.B, J.C, 8]D[, IAD, J.2C, j.C, 2D[, J.2C, allegreto, 8]D[, 5C, Cantata.

Here's the deal: Cantata black beats, but- during the freeze frame/super start-up, make nirvana do 8]D[.

The opponent CAN NOT forward tech & escape. They will get hit by 8]D[, and be sent into the last 7-hits of Cantata. from there 5C, walk nirvana toward, jump backwards, J.B, J.C, 8]D[, REPEAT. this = 5K damage in CT, resets into itself, gains loads of tension.

If the opponent does not tech before Cantata, we get the minimum 800 + another J.2C, Allegreto, 8]D[ for corner KD.

If the opponent back techs or neutral techs, they are forced to air block Cantata, from there just walk nirvana toward, J.A, J.B, J.C, 8]D[, IAD, J.2C, Alle~can, 5C, walk nirvana toward, jump backwards, REPEAT.

And yes. PSyduck indeed. i love that solo tager corner combo. that's just cold.
