Well yes, I do mean 5B>6B>jB, but also j2C>jB>jC as well. I think in a Dio vs. Dora match, Dio hit with a 3D>j2C>jB>jC, while Bang was crouching. I guess I have a new mix-up to work on. :3

How often should we try, on their wake-up, to cross-up with Nirvana's 6D? In a recent video a Carl player got frequent counter hits with it.

Ohhh j.2C j.B j.C is different.

That's workable, just different heights for j.2C. Very inconsistent, imo, but that's just me. "/

But you only get all those crazy 3D/j.B>j.Awhiff>j.B cross up resets off of 5B 6B j.B I'm pretty sure.

I only saw like 4 or 5 things in that video that are actually practical, and all of that Jin stuff is very practical.

So: question fore people who have had mroe hands on time with CS: would you say that due to the general increased hit stun on most moves that carl's 3C summoning combos are a little easier to pull off? because they've been the bane of my existence in CT.

It's about the same. I don't think there is increased hit stun, per say. It's just the combo system is different.

Hit stun is probably ~the same for all of his CT moves.

I doubt that. I find J.2C, J.C much easier in CS for some reason. >____>

There was a weird height thing with j.2C j.C in CT when I was trying before I had CS to play.

I don't know.. frame dataz?

Doesn't matter to me, just trying to answer his question.

Especially in regards to 3C IAD j.2C allecan.

It feels the same in CS to me.

Maybe active or recovery frames, but hitstun?

So am I the only one who thought Carl would never see 6.1k without Nirvana, even if it's only on Tager?

(even though you'll never get 5C that close on a Tager in the corner. :psyduck:)

Iv been curious about something. The info on this thread is for the arcade version or console version of CS because iv heard that the console versions are going under another patch.

That's 6 months down the line.

CS arcade and CS console are the same.

(Except I swear some timing stuff is different. Dropped combos (maybe dropped inputs:psyduck:) etc, where they shouldn't be. Anyone else notice this? JP import, for the record.)

Yes. But its like that for all games console/arcade imo.

Everytime i go from aracde->console release training mode->arcade, i drop all my allecans. FML

heheh X3 it happens don't worry o: unless you decided to mash or something :V sooooo i heard after the patches are released,some characters are going to be a bit nerfed while some get buffed.is carl one of them?O:

Carl's juggles are vicious and his reset potential is absurd. He's still, however, fragile as all hell and not in the least bit easy to use. I doubt they will buff him, but if they do nerf him it shouldn't be by much. 7k combos with oki -is- a little bit silly tho <Stares at Litchi and CT Rachel >

Iv been looking at some CS vids & noticed carls new juggle is his 2D loop wit Ada. I got the loop down but after J.2c on the 3rd rep my J.c whiffs & they tech ?.? am i doing something wrong

100 meter for 7k w/ oki is reasonable.

Every character can do it.

Nvm the 2D loop is only good for 2 reps ( If done after a 5hit combo ) before it whiffs. I tried J.AAAAAAA after the J.2C & the second J.A whiff & the 2D missed. At the most you will get 3 reps if u start with 3C> J.2C> 2Dhits

6D takes a decent portion of Ada's HP right? If so, what are Carl's corner rape options in CS? Also, what is the most common/efficient way to start/set up the 2D loop?

2A > 2B > 3C > IAD > j.2C allecan > j.B > j.C > clap > [j.2C > j.C > 2D ]x2 > j.2C > j.B > 2D > j.2C > Allegretto > Clap.

Loop starts after 7 hits, starting with 2A.

It works.

w/ 3C, you can get much more than that. Vary it, don't repeat the same reps.

(Use of Volante, Clap, 4D, etc.)

Corner rape is pretty strong. Besides the 2 reps you'll get on every reset, (5B > 2B > 5C > 6D > IAD j.C > repeat. or something of the sort,) his resets are very strong.

Take your pick:

a.) 5B > 2B > buffer fuoco > 5C > IAD Fast fall > j.A fuzzy overhead > j.B > land whatever.

b.) 5B > 2B > 6B > walk nirvana forward > j.2C 3]D[ > j.C > 2A (Unblockable)

c.) 5B > 2B > 6B > walk nirvana forward > j.2C > 3D > late airdash j.B > j.C > land whatever.

d.) tick throw gimmicks for 7+k if you have meter for throw > 214214D.
