I don't have access to CS, but my bet for the best starter after gold burst would be either 5C/6C/6A/6D > 623B, or OTG 5C > 6A > 623B if it works. How many seals can you get off of a gold burst?

OTG doesn't work. Anyway, it seems like FRKZ is getting more usage in CS. The combos are pretty damn good especially when you start from 5B or some shit and you can barrier guard after burst which is nice. Of course I know Dora does it. Not sure if he's doing it to troll, or if that's really the best way, but of course he makes it work... it's like, instead of doing 5D in the middle of a combo, he'll go for d.2D sj.D which is a tough link and usually blacks out lol. Yay something to test <3

I'd still say only FRKZ against opponents who are truly crippled by it, like Hakumen and Tager. Litchi and Ragna are just going to have a party over the free counter hit combos you award them while DPing through any mix ups FRKZ has to offer; after all, what are the odds of successfully baiting a DP in FRKZ.. Just be careful with it. Lol. It's so far from godmode. It's a very high risk high reward, when I would say normal Bang is low risk and moderate to high reward. Mentally note how often FRKZ works against top tier characters, it isn't often.

I haven't kept up with cs bang too much but I finally played yesterday and I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask but...in. ct bang could jump over someone and 4c them into a bnb . But every time I tried he did what looks like 6c but in air? Was that move taken out?

if you have health advantage over Ragna, you can just camp him pretty easily. Litchi is a different story, don't even try against her.

Though for the people who I face (Tager, Ragna, and Tsubaki), they pretty much give up once I use FRKZ... Tager still tries, but can't do much about it since I can wait for him.

I don't know if it's quite as simple as you're suggesting.

If Ragna does get you on the ground and understands the timing of meatys, you're going to be pretty hard pressed to get out untouched. Not to mention any time he hits you, in theory, it should end in a 22C or at least knockdown.. pretty rough.

You can barrier block and then go behind him, if he hits you, you don't have to worry if you've saved your burst. Also, getting a combo nets you 4k+ so w/e :psyduck:

Yeah, but Ragna's blockstrings were amazing even -before- you added 2 frames of untechability to each block. And he easily has the mobility to keep up with you being pushed back, especially when it's assumed that it's going to be every hit.

I've actually been using a more practical version of that; 5A 5B 2B 623B 5B 623B 5C 2C(6A?) 623B (5A or 5B) The proration goes all to shit, but it's deliberate, because people always seem to tech the exact moment they are off untechable time, and in a direction, for free tech traps.

@ everyone who plays bbcs bang....just curious but have yall stopped playing ct completely?

Yeah, I've completely stopped playing CT :/

Dora vs Shadow

In this video @ 6:12 I see 6B > 2A > 5B > j. A > j. B > j. C > 5A > 5B > j. A > j. B > j. C > 5A > blackbeats here. It does about 3000 dmg (hard to make out) and it's in the corner against Hakumen. Is this corner specific? Hakumen specific? Inquiring minds want to know!

Edit: Awesome, added youtube link courtesy of zeth.

Just an FYI, I added the Youtube versions that Xemnas uploaded to the Video Thread just now. So you can easily check it instead of having to go through the Nico Video waiting, or if other people want to check it.

Both of those matches were pretty damn funny too.

It works the same way the CT AA j.C stuff works; the j.C has to hit low enough to give you time to 5A them before they hit the ground. It probably works on anyone who's hit by j.A>j.B>j.C and in the corner. Gonna have to test this out later...

Nah it does 2k damage. Not that great, but fun for trolling.

lol bang match up wise is like the jin of CT.

because we all know that CT jin was the most balanced character in the game *cough*

Meh, match up wise he was balanced in most situations, and only broken in the situations where it was vs the weak chars. So if cs bang is the same as ct jin and if hes on the top of the tier list, thats a much better balancing attempt this time around.

Bang V Rachel and Tsubaki is damn near unwinnable. Mike Z has proven Tager worthy of some unbelievable stuff, but I strongly believe that once I figure out the gimmicks Tager won't be very high at all, now that I've played him. Mike is sooooo good though, he beat me by far a higher percentage than anyone else I've played in CS with a far lower tier character than the others. :/ hype stuff. PS Against the new Tager, backdash early and backdash often.

Tager is good. He has tools, and gadget finger. Also now since his 2C is an amazing anti-air with a fatal counter, you can't just stay in the air all day against him. Tager is a much better character this time around and will fuck you up. You really have to try against him. I haven't faced tagers as good as Mike Z in CS yet, but for the people I've played against, I've noticed a lot more 2C spam and yeah... I feel more comfortable staying back and using 5B...
