236D is quick/safe/covers a really big horizontal area.

i've beaten tager wakeup 720 and bang wake up ashura with command grab. So long as command grab is already active before they do something he'll throw counter. it's so good~~~~

I thought everyone was saying it wasn't safe on block o_O

I've never been punished after a blocked 236D. Not to say it isn't possible (I really don't know if it is or not...) But none the less I never have...

yesterday when i was using hazama i was trying to do this combo almost pulled it off bbut messed up: 5B,3C,214DC,5C,623D,RC,6DC,5B,2C,623D,632146C. 100 Heat needed has any of you tried doing this if so howmuch damage would it do?

doesn't seem worth it...you'd probably get more damage by doing jayoku after 3C

also, almost positive you can do dash->214D~C, 5C, 2C->??? after the RC (think you might be able to get 4D->623D off but not sure?)...either way I'm sure mizuchi at the end would do shit for damage due to the length of the combo

I believe jayoku is superior to mizuchi and mizuchi is only for those moments where you couldn't have used jayoku i.e:

hit confirmed ground to ground CH 5D->mizuchi (not sure needs to be CH but definitely helps)

you won't be close enough to 3C-> jayoku after 623D (shouldn't really ever be the case I think)

you suck at 3C after 623D (though I think RC might be more damaging for this instance...I believe RC combo does like 4500 while I've only seen mizuchi combos reach 3.5-4k)

could be wrong though >.>

mizuchi and jayoku both have their uses. jayoku is used for close range punishing, mizuchi for long range. use both so they can't burst if going for the kill. if you have 100% and they're almost dead you can just jayoku > mizuchi for unburstable kill.

5C(counter)>3C>hyaha (whatever that move is)>(delay) 2C>jCX5>delay jCX5>2C>4DD>jCX5>jCX5>214B May be character specific. 3.8k dmg 1. jc 20 times??? compare to dmg the meter gain is probably more important here 2. nice the meter gain looks great for this combo will try on all characters in a second.

Lol I mistook some context clues via the translator. I thought they liked it but opposing it (something like that). Thanks again ryoko. Not sure if I have seen this done before that's why I posted it.

I'm considering taking up Hazama myself as a secondary, however... Do you think anyone's gonna make a video like the last Blazblue? It was very informative and helpful actually. Anyhow, I'm intrigued that Hazama has a different stance thing. One of my friends is considering taking Hazama up cause his moves seem similar to a hold characters, but after some investigation, I think he'd stick to Carl. My other friend says he's a... Erm... Ah well, I forgot the name of it, but it seems like he only uses only one combo normally instead of various ones. Ah well, anyhow, I think I'll try to use him for a bit, I never found a secondary in Calamity Trigger, so he might be it. (Even if I don't like his personality much)

you can just jayoku > mizuchi for unburstable kill.

Gotta backdash once after jayoku for mizuchi to hit ?

Only tried to jayoku x2 as i allways thought i was too close for mizuchi (was before i saw peoples jayoku > backdash > jakou, made me think at first you could mizuchi instead and now you're kinda confirming it ;o)
