Why, it serves a double purpose to do the opposite (in my case, triple) 1. If people are losing to me, and I suck, what does that say 2. If I pass my skill off to my character, it creates a fear of the character, giving me another edge 3. It's kind of honest. I don't really do anything that special, I just know how to make a tier hurt and make some kind of cool stuff up. In this case, though, I was conceding that Mike is a better player because he is, not really saying that I'm bad. You don't have to worry about my confidence, I have it in spades no matter what I say. I dunno, I guess I just got defensive because after the tournament Mike said that I was a horrible player. Lol. While it's oversimplifying it a bit, it's not that far from the truth, because I get away with spamming the living hell out of 5A/5B. So while I think it was misunderstood, I just wanted to explain my side of it, and let him know that I agreed with him in the sense that he is better than me, which is kind of the underlying meaning of the entire thing in the first place. TL DR; I'm bad, just not that bad EDIT: I just want to make sure it's totally clear that I'm not salty, at all. I <3 u Mike, and the way you welcomed me into the Socal BB community has been fantastic. And I can't wait to get to go to Rendsday tomorrow at your place. :]

scottind Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 i'm glad theres such a nice diverse spread of characters this last tourney, go tsubaki! here's an update on the videos: i'm super swamped with work and other things. i got a new job in Riverside, so i travel out there 5 days a week. when i get home, i spend some time trying to find an apartment or room on Craigslist(cuz 100 mile commute sucks), then eat and sleep at midnight. Truth is, i dont have as much time as i used to to tend to videos. As i type this out, i'm barely getting ready to make the first set of renders to run overnight. on a sidenote, if any of you live in riverside area willing to house me $400-500/month, please let me know. anyway, i might be able to get them all out by friday or saturday.
