As long as there's something that could possibly stand out in some eyes as cheap, they're gonna complain. Using opinions and very basic data to try and prove how OP and cheapass something is? Well, that's humans for ya. However, I do commend your efforts to raise the awareness of this problem. It might put a few minds in perspective. I'm also LOLing at the theorypocalypse on the previous pages. I'm not one to judge (considering I have no CS experience), but just how much of it is likely to be true?

Hell, her lowest damage (and shortest) combo is off of a Tsubame, and even then, she can still mash out 2k. She doesnt get good meter and high damage. And also, am i really complaining? i thought you guys were talking about who was a better character (bang/litchi) though Litchi was somewhat harder to learn. As TOKiMONSTA said, yes, execution is a factor, but even so shes still VERY strong. tl;dr Litchi is a strong character. Why is this up for discussion. If anything, you can get specific and discuss WHY so you stop running around in circles. my input on this? High meter gain, High damage off random hits, Pretty much can get oki off like any combo, Brings people to corner with her combos. She isnt CT Rachel though, thats definite :o

That (apparent) inconsistency was what was bothering me about that logic. That and you don't NEED to play a top tier to do well at a tournament. If you're a serious player you'll find ways to make it work. Unless your character is just horribly gimped... that didn't stop Mike Z though.

I also don't get the bang hate, so far he seems to be somewhat enjoyable to fight, Ragna/Litchi are far more annoying for me at least. Kinda like how Carl was a much more enjoyable fight then arakune or something for Tager in CT.

This is all I see on the stream when BP is kind enough to take the time to set it up so she can stream us playing. Incessant whining, constant fucking complaining. Seriously, it's not that bad. None of the top 3 are THAT overpowered. Yes, they need/should be toned down, but it's not the end of the world and I and no one else wants to see the people whining saying the same goddamn thing every time they have the chance. It's just poor sportsmanship at this point, people need to get over it. Especially when I look in the stream chat and see "That's a nice Lambda" when five minutes earlier they were bitching about how stupid Litchi is when it was the same player. GET OVER IT OR QUIT PLAYING. Look at any video game that involves competition, ever. Every single game, no matter if it's RTS, Fighting Game, whatever. Age old past time of whining about the best. The folly in whining about the best, is no matter what, there will always be a best character(s) and a worst.

This is where we should discuss the frame data, discuss meter gain, damage output, the things that are un-debatable and easily classifiable. You can make a great case for Litchi being one of the best characters when you say "Off of any random hit, it is particularly rare for Litchi to not exceed 3000 damage, gain 40+ meter and end up on corner oki with the option of super. Her damage ceiling, even without meter, is 5k-6k, and her physical spacing with disjointed hitboxes is amazing, abare amazing, mix up pretty good and often invisible"

Im just gonna leave it there. Our CT bang hasn't gotten much time on CS yet, speaking of which I havn't gotten as much as I want either *sigh*. But honestly the matchup doesn't seem that different so far from the tager end, except now bang does more damage and tager does less...

It's because Bang rewards mashing, and now all the mashy Bang players are suddenly the best players in America. Only in America though, because mashing is so strong.

Thats the biggest difference i feel between Litchi and Bang, If Bang is fishing for 5A hits its pretty relatively safe thing to do and if he gets hit no real big deal, if Litchi is whiffing pokes and 5B's she might just die, same with Ragna cept he dies faster.

BB:CT= overall terrible character design BB:CS= overall bad character design BB:CR= overall mediocre character design? I think I'm gonna hold off from Blazblue until BB:CN or BB:CM when they finally have good character design. Also, I am American, I do not mash, I still wins games and not suck completely.

There are a near infinite number of frame traps to abuse, the world is your oyster. Watch how Japan shuts it down and do the same, if your opponent is auto-pilot mashing they should get destroyed, especially with a 5 frame non invincible move.

But to be honest it really offends me when people come into our stream and start bitching and moaning, or saying somebody sucks etc. It's just absolutely disrespectful to our scene when we're kind enough to let ourselves be streamed and kind enough to set up the stream in the first place. But you know, it's only the same handful of people doing it and I think I'm developing a serious problem with them. I don't think I'm the only one who doesn't appreciate that. Coming in here only to see those exact same people complaining about the game just really hammers it in for me. Quit being scrubs and suck it up, imo.

Suck it up guys! honestly, I can't hate Ragna... not just because he's my sub, but because... well... he's almost like the "don't stop believing" of the BB cast, we all know how it goes, it always attracts attentions, and we all love it. So when people rage about Ragna it leaves me confused, his matchups aren't as 1 sided as Bangs or Litchi... though I guess it comes from the tier placement... like what happened to Jin....

I also try to put a good bit of focus into baiting and punishing random IBs.
